Egyptian Cleric Safwat Higazi: The Day Will Come When We Will Be Masters of the World

Blaze readers may be familiar with the Egyptian cleric Safwat Higazi, who said at a campaign rally for Egyptian president Muhammad Morsi that Jerusalem will be the “capital of the caliphate.”

Now, the Middle East Media Research Institute has translated an interview with the prominent imam, where he reiterated the Muslim Brotherhood’s desire to be “the masters of the world.”

Perhaps more interesting than that, however– the fact that the Muslim Brotherhood seeks to expand its power has been well-established by those who follow such matters– is how Higazi appears to percieve peace and aggression.

MEMRI does not give the name of the interviewer, but the man held Higazi’s feet to the fire at every turn.

The clip begins with Higazi insisting that he seeks peace, despite his insistence that Israel will be the capital of the “United States of the Arabs.”

“[But] how can you get ‘what is rightfully yours’ from a country like Israel without war?” the interviewer logically asks.

Higazi replies with a smirk: “I did not say that I would take what is mine through peaceful means…I said that this is my first choice. The first choice of the Muslims is peace. If not through peace, there is nothing preventing war. We welcome war…”

The interviewer then asks how someone who claims to be “peace-seeking“ can issue a fatwa saying that anyone who sees an Israeli on the street ”must kill him.”

When Higazi responds that he did offer peace to Israel, the interviewer is clearly skeptical. After a brief back-and-forth, it emerges that Higazi does not support the Camp David Accords, and sees the beginning of Egypt’s “peace” with Israel as the 1973 war– when Egypt attacked Israel on Yom Kippur.

“It was the 1973 war that brought peace,” he explains. “If not for the Egyptian victory in that war, there would be no peace. How come there was no peace before the 1973 war?”

The clip concludes with a dramatic statement on the intentions of the Muslim Brotherhood.

“One of the tenets of the Muslim Brotherhood, which they cannot renounce, is the Islamic Caliphate and the ruling of the world. Yes. The day will come when we will be the masters of the world,” Higazi concludes.

Ron Paul if he would have been given the chance as POTUS, would go over there and kick there @sses as long as that is what the American people wanted and Congress declared war. Believe me, he just wants our government to follow the Constitution, that is it. Too bad he will never have the chance to show us.

Is it just me or does the inability of the MB or the Dems to recite actual historical fact seem to aflict both of them equally ? In other words neith the Dems or the MB are capable of truth (especially it it gets in the way of a carefully crafted narrative or agenda ? )

The 73 Yom Kipor War initailly was an Egytian success as they roled back the Isreali forces from the Sinai canal but a very skillful and desperate attack by Air and Ground armored units smashed both the Syrian Army at Golan and routed the Egyptian Armor once it has foolishly outpaced it’s ground to air missile shield (due to imaptience on Hasads part forcing Sadats hand). The 73 War was another humilitaing defeat for the Arabs and Syrians….jeez.

  Actually he is pretty much straight on with that one. The Egyptian’s initially devastated the Israeli air force and with their vastly superior ground forces there was real concern that Israel would fall. The Israeli ground army managed to hold them while the air force, now clear of the anti air started pounding them. Losing a lot of their elite and high level divisions, the Israeli’s outflanked them in Sinai, pushing into Egypt and knocking out the anti air defenses the Egyptian’s established.
  
  Israel was so caught off guard by the level of technological advancement the Egyptian army had made and their level of preparation that it nearly turned into a total disaster for Israel Hence, some of the paranoia the Israeli military shows when it comes to enemies like Iran, 73′ they came very close to destruction.
  
  The Yom Kippur War also highlights a common mistake made by Arab armies. They like to outfit a small number of troops with good equipment and training, the rest of the army is typically made up of trash units (conscripts, little to no training, outdated equipment) and they are highly segregated, so training between the two doesn’t happen. Same mistake the Japanese made in WW2.

They’ve had 2 instances where they carried out raids on specific targets (one was a nuclear threat) the other a premptive strike to stun the invaders who launched an all out attack (validating Israeli intel of imminent attack). Every other war they’ve been in they were attacked without warning or provocation…those are the facts. After the 9/11 attacks the top Pakistani mullah said, “Allah willing, we will live to see the flag of the Islamic Nation flying on top of America’s buildings.” This is standard talk all over the Muslim world. Wow…..well the idiotic fools in the WH can‘t claim to be ignorant of this menace since they fascilitated the MB’s rise to power in the most key Arab nation in the Muslim world, Egypt.

Another of GB’s so called outrageous claims was right on the money once again……This moron in the interview thought Egypt won the 73 war ? Talk about denial and yes it apparently is, a river in Egypt.

Lord help us all from these monsters and their enablers in the West.

Better get prepared Israel, the decisive battle is nearly at hand………

Thats what it will take WAR and they still won’t master the world. Their reading the wrong book the only thing they might master is hell because that’s where they are all going to end up. I pray the Lord will show them what true love is and save their soul. Love/pray
