Former Army infantry officer Lt. Dan Choi served in combat during the Iraq war from 2006-2007. After coming out as a homosexual on the Rachel Maddow Show in March 2009, Choi has worked as a gay rights advocate, encouraging the repeal of the military‘s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy which bans gays from serving openly in the military.
In March, Choi and another ousted military officer were arrested after handcuffing themselves to the fence of the White House. In addition, Choi gave his West Point class ring to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid who promised to return the ring after Congress repealed DADT.
On Wednesday, Reid returned the ring to Choi in a press event on Capitol Hill:

Posted on December 23, 2010 at 12:57amIf I understand correctly, the concept behind dadt was to bring unity to our fighting force. Again, the Progs defy logic and turn reason on it’s ear. This action can only cause conflict. I‘m getting really tired of obomba’s goofs.

Posted on December 23, 2010 at 12:13am“Zero Tolerance” will result in special treatment for homosexuals in the military. As soon as a legitimate disciplinary action is taken against a homosexual in the armed forces, they will be yelling that it is because they are “gay” that they were being disciplined. Get ready for a new kind of “special class” of military personnel. The commanding officer will end up being taken up on charges of hate crimes.

Posted on December 23, 2010 at 12:33amThis can only lead to further separation of our society, which is one of the main motives of the progressives.
To tear us asunder.
Among our fighting men and women, I truly do not see any good that can come from this. My understanding is that the non – combat military was supportive, but men and women in combat were opposed to this.
What a mess. Lame duck sessions should be abandoned or outlawed.

Posted on December 23, 2010 at 1:02amI kind of agree Steverino, homosexuality IS just one more way to divide us. The whole don‘t ask don’t tell thing was just a way for Clinton to play both sides without really doing anything, but it DID create this portrayal of repubs as gay-haters, and dems as the saviors of the oppressed, and thus, we are fundamentally divided. That’s right, DADT was a GOOD thing back then, remember? I for one couldn’t care less, of course I don’t see any reason for constantly talking about sexuality in ANY circumstances. Seriously, don’t our military peeps have better things to worry about? I think the whole military should’ve taken a vote, let them decide, they are the ones it affects.

Posted on December 23, 2010 at 1:10amDon’t you see what is really happening here, this is their plot to take control of the military next,
Report Post »It starts with DADT repeal.
Then special interest progressive groups infiltrate the military but use so called homosexual discrimination as protection to advance their agenda.
Anyone against the Liberal progressive agenda, any conservatives that is, then get accused of discrimination. After a pattern of intimidation using the disguise of discrimination against ****’s they can eventually over time place the right people in positions of power that they need.
Then as their people reach the positions of power they need they essentially control the military.
That is what progressives do, they protect certain special interest groups rights while stripping all those that opposes rights away.
