Prophet Keith: Olbermann Releases Video Predicting Beck’s Demise

Keith Olbermann couldn’t stay underground for long. Recently, he’s been releasing videos on his “FOK News Channel” blog. Many of those videos sound exactly like segments from his old “Countdown” show on MSNBC. And considering he’s getting ready to continue that show on Current TV, it makes sense that he’d practice. So what’s the best way to practice? Continue the wild rants that made you famous. And there is nothing wilder than predicting the demise of Glenn Beck.

In order to deliver his prediction, Olbermann used the movie “A Face in the Crowd.” It’s in that film that Olbermann finds his Beck nickname, Lonesome Rhodes. Tommy Christopher over at Mediaite explains the recitation, and also why it may not work:

Then, Olbermann goes into tempting fate mode by reading a long passage from A Face in the Crowd in which Walter Matthau’s character predicts Lonesome Rhodes’ gradual descent into oblivion, and calling it a prediction of Beck’s future. The problem is, the soliloquy could as easily apply to Olbermann. He and Beck are on remarkably similar paths, and Beck arguably has a head start, at least in audience size.

Now, here’s the wise sage himself:

Beck stepping off the stage must be a real relief to some of these people and I’ll just make a little prediction that without his exposing them on a day to day basis, their masks are going to slip just a bit more and why not, they don’t have to be concerned (if they ever were) about winding up on Becks blackboard.

I’d like to think that this is all about of Becks grand plan to cause what I just laid out to come too pass.

Then Beck rolls hard on em with their own words. LOL

Maybe Olby should explain his own demise before Beck’s. He definitely has more experience in demise than Beck has. Beck has more fans in one day the this buffoon has in a week. If it wasn‘t for The Blaze I wouldn’t even know this clown exists.

Here’s what will happen to Beck. Look at this ratings trend chart. While the others at 5 dropped slowly and then leveled out, Glenns ratings kept rising. HE grew the 5PM cable news audience. Here‘s my guess at Olberdork’s future. He will become the top rated show on current tv. I’ll bet he pulls as many as 50,000 viewers.

Yes, been concerned about KO for a long time. The unfortunate times I watched a little, I saw hatred, arrogance, lies, bitterness, irreverance and other negative traits exude from his being. I noticed the left’s praise for him on the lefty blog sites and grew very alarmed. That describes, in general, the American left — even the few that call themselves Christian – there was one in particular that said she was a Carholic & gave him praise, along with the atheists, etc. So appalling. Wake up, wake up………

The White House promises more access and an end to their war on FNC? Remember the furror after the Giffords shooting? All the “hateful rhetoric” and unfortunately Glenn got painted as the poster child on the right, Olbermann on the left and they are now both pursuing other projects?

I think Beck was in the same situation as Brett Favre with the Green Bay Packers not so long ago. If you want me back in the same role, you’re gonna have to let me know it.

I think FOX is beginning to hit that point that successful organizations hit at some point. They‘re beginning to take themselves too seriously and they’re losing tough with what made them popular. All it takes is a couple bone-headed decisions and you’re suddenly chasing ratings. If I were Murdoch, I would have told Glenn we want it BIGGER, BADDER and LOUDER.

So, yes, I think Glenn was basically forced out of his role as TV host of his own program. But, I also think Glenn is a bit tired. I‘ll be curious to see where’s at this time next year.

Well, Fox News has not fired Beck. He still works for them. Beck is going to be okay. I’m not worried about that a bit.

Who was it –My Sacred Honor? — who said that Fox wasn’t going to cut someone loose who has done as much for their ratings, that Beck was too valuable to them. Glenn has been planning a change of course for some time. He will be true to himself and to his audience.

Was not aware that he’d signed a new contract, but the one he’s under — or has been under — expires in December.

Notice that square-head is shuffling PAPERS as he reads from his “idiot boards” (term used by Walter Mondale in his criticism of B.O.).

Overbite is pathetic…only matched by his arrogance of self-perceived “importance” within media. He will be back later this fall on “Nickelodeon”…..his show will air after Dora the Explorer and before “Rollie Polie Olie.”

Beck was fired. There will be no more lonesome rhodes on tv. Soon Beck in going to be transitioned into a rubber room so he can play with puppets all day.

*****OH how witty Commie-encomama!!! How can anyone reply to that kind of a zinger…..oooooooh.

What you’re doing is whistling in the graveyard my Liberal/Progressive/Marxist troller. Lot’s of GODD things coming from Beck…as for OverBiteMe……his new show will be taped in his garage and aired on the Irrelevant Channel.

      @ Koolaiders

Like your moniker. It definitely fits you, you HAVE had a drink or more of the “liberal/progressive Cool Aide”!

I’m not a Tea Partier (how ever, respect their positions).

Not a “birther” (neither is Beck, infact, even on today’s radio show–4/12/11–Beck again stressed how silly the discussion concerning O’s birth certificate has gotten and that there are much more important things that this administration has done and is continuing to try do that need to be addressed.

And happen to KNOW that Beck was NOT FIRED! Those of us on Insider Extreme could see that Glenn wanted to make changes in his business and life in order to open more possibilities of exposing the “fundamental change” that is being foisted on the United States of America. A daily show under the restriction caused by cable owners was difficult to do for someone as active in his own production company as Glenn, but it was worth doing “for a time” in order to open the minds of those prepared by God to accept the information at this time.

Why not listen to Becks radio show for a time, and see exactly what is going on. Better still pay to be on I.E. and watch and listen to what is really happening and maybe your eyes and ears will be opened to the truth.

As far as I’m concerned the changes have little to do with Obama directly. No mattter “who/what” he is, he is nothing more than a puppet or one of the “minions” being positioned by the power brokers who want to make this country into something it is not, and, God willing, will not become.

Have your laughs now, but when you are finally within a socialist structure or communist structure or forced to be a Muslim whether or NOT you believe in a god! (future one-world religion?), and under Shiria Law, I bet you will be laughing out of the other side of your face if you can laugh at all.

May God protect us through this difficult times and may His Word be heard by the “ears that can hear” and his Way be seen by the “eyes that can see.” Maranatha!

It just amazes me the unhealthy obsession the left has with Glenn. Olbermann, Koolaiders, Encinom. A week plus out from the anouncement that Glenn will transition from daily to work to doing specials and they just can’t get over it. If he was “fired” as you sad individuals believe then time will tell. How will we tell? Glenn will be off the daily show he does and there won’t be any special reports/documentaries/etc. How bout we wait and see rather than obsessing?! It is really unhealthy and I suggest counseling.

By the way. Keith it is truly arrogant for you to throw this out over the airwaves. To liken any individual with the character in the movie is unfeeling and, dare I say it…, extreme. Glenn Beck openly acknowledges his past demons but to say who is is today is anything like he used to be, or like the character in the movie, is being The Worlds Worst Person!

Olberdork is going to eat his words when he sees what Beck does for Fox. Glenn plans on having a more direct effect on who and how we win the WH in 2012. And for those dummies on the left that hate Beck, he is NOT running away, he’s running directly into the battle. Be patient and all will come out.

Koolaiders, not that it is any of our business, however it is good for you to know that Beck did sign a new contract with Fox, so therefore he wasn’t fired.

Coupla things. First, beck NEVER had some “faux pas’ that caused his “audience’ to backpedal away from him, so that analogy is struck down.
Second, IF beck has his own network, I believe it will be filled mostly with history lessons about our Great Republic, the writings of our fore-Fathers, etc, and maybe an hour of actual Beck teaching the masses.
Third, I believe Beck would want nothing more than to have some “young, energetic” guns following in his path so that he could take a break as the lone voice of reason in this world of chaos.

Which leads me to a point of libthought vs. Beckthought.
Obi-wan ststed that Beck left Fox because *he assumes* Beck thought Fox was getting more money than Beck thought they should, and that Beck’s sole purpose is to amass as much wealth as he can. Going back, he (Obi) assumes that Beck would be jealous of some young guns coming in to replace him, that he (Beck) would no longer be “#1″.
These are the thought processes of the liberal mind, and is clearly a projection that Beck must ALSO feel the same way. In this way, the liberal mind could never wrap itself around a selfless mindset, only a selfish, ego-maniacal way to exist.
There is no hope for people like Obi. They will wallow in their own self-importance until the day they die, alone, suffering with only a question on their lips:
      “Why?”

Gutless pro-abortion ads, the lot of them.

Beck and Fox are transitioning to a new partnership where Beck creates and produces specials for Fox instead of his one hour daily show…umm…that doesn’t sound like Fox fired Beck now does it…
this was actually Beck’s decision…not Murdock and Ayles…you really should get your head out of it more….
