Prosecution Makes Major Flub in Zimmerman Case: Accidentally Releases Private Docs, Death Photo

Prosecution Accidentally Releases Secret College Transcripts and Death Photo of Trayvon Martin

In this photo provided by the Fox News Channel, Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity, right, interviews George Zimmerman, left, and his attorney Mark O Mara, Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at an undisclosed Florida location. Zimmerman has been charged with second degree murder for the Feb. 26, 2012 shooting death of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin. He is claiming self-defense under Florida s Stand Your Ground law. The telecast airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. on the Fox News Channel. Credit: AP

The prosecution in the murder case against George Zimmerman made an embarrassing mistake on Thursday when it released private documents and a death photo.

The documents included Zimmerman’s private college and high school records while the photo depicted a slain Trayvon Martin, face-down on the grass.

The New York Daily News reports on Zimmerman’s grades:

George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who gunned down unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin, was a mediocre college student who got Ds in two key criminal justice classes — though he did get a higher grade in a course about violent predators.

Zimmerman got a C in a criminal justice class called “Evil Minds, Violent Predators,” following the lower grades in Introduction to Criminal Justice and in a Juvenile Delinquency course, according to transcripts from his days at Seminole State College that were released Thursday.

Zimmerman, who was on academic probation when he was booted from the school in the wake of the shooting of Martin, did get an A in criminal litigation and a B in criminal investigation, the transcripts show.

But Zimmerman’s overall grade point average was dragged down by his abysmal math and science grades, which included a pair of Fs in two algebra classes.

[...]

Zimmerman’s high school transcript was also in the evidence packet. It revealed that here too he struggled with math and science — and, more surprisingly, his Spanish grades were in the low 80s, despite the fact that Zimmerman is half-Peruvian.

TheBlaze has chosen not to publish the photo of Martin. The Smoking Gun, however, has. And it explains how the mistake happened:

The documents were inadvertently included in supplemental discovery records distributed this morning by prosecutor Angela Corey’s office. The material was sent to a variety of media outlets, including TSG, that have paid fees to receive discovery provided by the government to Zimmerman’s lawyer.

The photocopied picture of Martin was one of three taken by an unnamed witness. The photo mistakenly released by Corey is a black and white copy of an image depicting the teenager lying face down on a lawn.

Zimmerman has been granted a separate “Stand Your Ground” hearing before the main murder trial to determine if his actions were in self defense. That min-trial, however, is still not expected to occur for several months. Accidentally

Yes, I’ll just bet these records were “accidentally” released by the evil queen Angela Corey.

But, this really illustrates her stupidity. Who cares what Zim’s grades were in school, and how does such nonsense impact on the case?

She’s still trying to taint this poor guy any way she can.

Such corrupt railroading of an individual by this b***h within the legal system, and her accomplice judge “Kenny Boy Lester,” better known as the payola kid, is absolutely the greatest misuse of government authority ever.

This makes Nifong, the LA Cross criminal prosecutor who fabricated evidence knowing the guys were innocent, seem like a choir boy.

The Florida legal system is totally corrupt from the top down. We need to start over.

And, this batch of legal criminals needs to be made to pay for their corruption.

Releasing this, especially the picture, was intentional – designed and intended to whip up the flames again. The pubic was losing interest in the case. Seeing their weak case crumbling politically and in the courtroom, the prosecution has gone for the “try it in the newspapers” approach. Watch for the Sharpton and Jackson to return with their portable riots and lynching demands. The prosecution needs to overcome Zimmerman’s stand-your-ground defense motion and this is their way of assuring it is denied.

Teachers are notoriously tough on Spanish speakers, especially in the written part. He probably doesn’t have the written part down very well and it lowered his grade. What do they think, his average grades are tantamount to him being guilty. The prosecution should be on trial now. Zimmerman has been stigmatized since day one. Had Martin been anything but black we wouldn’t even be hearing about this.

If George is innocent of murder, which I suspect he is, he needs to file civil suits against those who ruined his life, such as Spike Le, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the New Black Panthers. He needs to hire attorneys who can gather the evidence from the internet of mal intent against Zimmerman, and sue the Black Panthers for a conspiracy to commit bodily harm.

No matter what happens, Zimmerman will most likely never be able to live a normal life again – perhaps not even his parents, his wife, or her parents. He needs to sue the whole lot because his name has been smeared, media has reported lies about him, his parents‘ home address was posted by many celebrities which put his parents in harm’s way, he‘s been discriminated against because he’s half white (although I see him as more Hispanic), and who knows how many people want him dead. His life, as he knows it, is over. I don’t know even if the law can help Zimmerman get a fresh start (if he’s found “not guilty”).

I’m not sure the grades are relevant. I *think* they were trying to show the courses Zimmerman took to make it look like this was pre-meditated , not for this boy in particular, but that he was learning what the system would and would not allow him to get away with. That’s not appropriate….it’s more supposition without fact just like the media uses daily to masacre anyone who is not the ONE PARTY, ONE COUNTRY, ONE WORLD philosophy. My bet is the prosecuter was either threatened or paid off to botch the case in some way. This country no longer desires truth, or justice. We (the people) are truly being manipulated. By the way i might add that I’ve been in several court cases, even with a family member once when his attorney said, “I’m going to say/show .(whatever), the court will throw it out as being inadmissable, but once it becomes known to the jury, they will not be able to forget it. Even if directed to do so, it will be in the back of their mind.” It’s like advertisements. Have you BEEN to court recently? I swear they hire actors to play attorneys, their actions are so dramatic. (tongue in cheek) – just meaning to say lawyers must take acting classes because you’d swear they were going for an oscar, rather than trying to present fact. THe courtroom is no longer a place where facts are presented to uninfluenced juries, they are now dramatized to influence, much like the political ads.
There may be SOME truth in them, but most won’t know the difference and they use that to their advantage….learning to walk on the very edge of the law to get the outcome of their choice.
Just remember, the MAJORITY of our politicians ARE attornies.

Wanting to clarify the statement” My bet is the prosecuter was either threatened or paid off to botch the case in some way. ” Meaning in this incident and future incidents, things will “accidently” happen simply because they know they can influence the feelings and thereby the judgements of the jury. Lawyers do it all the time….accidently admit information that wasn’t to be shown or go the opposite and cliam the “discovery” (notes/evidence,etc) was lost.
Recently in a nearby small town the “discovery” was lost in 5 cases of domestic violence within a months time period. No other cases. Different attornies. Without evidence, the perps walked.
Convenient. Didn’t even make the news. Found out about it through a counseling agency fo the victims that this happens a LOT. Can you insist it was intentionally lost? How? Perhaps by hiring yet another lawyer (most likely one of their buddies) who will gladly take your money to tell you that there’s nothing that could be done.
