Puffy Jacket Saves Man From Being Stabbed to Death

A copy store employee is safe (and possibly a little colder) today after his large, puffy jacket saved him from being stabbed to death.

Abby Dumoff, 54, told the New York Post he had just returned to the store after walking his dog in the wee hours of Saturday morning when he happened upon someone trying to pry open the cash register with a scissors.

Dumoff quickly rushed to stop the robbery and a struggled ensued. That’s when the would-be robber started stabbing wildly at Dumoff. But instead of piercing Dumoff’s skin, the perp only got through Dumoff’s jacket.

“If I hadn’t been wearing my heavy coat, he could have killed me,” Dumoff, who eventually chased the assailant away, told the Post.

“I’m real lucky,” he added.

      Really !!
You would think you would counterfeit money at a copy store, although I suppose you could steam money in the hot dog bun warmer.

Where is the outcry to ban scissors, walking dogs in the wee hours and the mandate that all must wear puffy clothes at all time for protection? Or that to prevent stabbings during robberies, cash registers must be left open so the thief isn’t incited to use a sharp object to pry it open?

Psychological counseling to restore self-esteem should be provided for those who fail miserably at assault with a deadly weapon, too. Then tax puffy-jacket buyers to set up a fund for armed robbers who can no longer make a living.

Just have to ask. Why did he leave the store unlocked? Why did he walk the dog with the store unlocked? Why did he have a dog at the store? Why did he attack the robber, with a dog in his hands?

Report Post. A valuable tool of the legal team that does not want their butts sued when some other litigious jerk shooting for a payday gets offended and gets the DA to ask why did you allow this post to stay online so long? i’ve hit it before and gave clear explanations about trolls here and unnecessary language. If their team of people agree with you, they take it down. that said, i know nothing of your post or why it may have been deleted.
