‘Queen of Mexican Crime’: Who Is The 27-Year-Old Illegal Immigrant That Was Just Deported?

SAN DIEGO (AP/The Blaze) —A 27-year-old fugitive caught in Southern California and handed over to officials in Mexico is a top operative in the La Familia drug cartel working out of the United States, Mexican authorities said. ) reported.Noriega Rios was arrested June 27 at her El Monte residence. Two days later she was taken to a border crossing in San Ysidro, Calif., and turned over to Mexican authorities under tight security.

In a 64-page criminal warrant issued in Mexico, Noriega Rios is accused of being one of La Familia’s main U.S.-based operatives overseeing the violent cartel’s methamphetamine distribution in California and Washington. The cartel, a group often characterized as ruthless and cult-like, is known for moving meth, along with some cocaine and marijuana, into the U.S. from the Mexican state of Michoacan, according to the Times.

Anel Violeta Noriega Rios, Cartel Operative Described as Queen of Mexican Crime, Arrested and Deported from California

Anel Violeta Noriega Rios

Noriega Rios once used a gardening company to move drugs brought by sea into Long Beach, the newspaper said.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say Noriega Rios was arrested in the United States and deported to Mexico five times between 2004 and 2005 but has no criminal convictions in the U.S.

Authorities began watching Noriega Rios in El Monte upon the request of Mexican officials, who received a tip that she was living in El Monte, a working-class San Gabriel Valley city. After authorities were able to determine that the woman was in fact Noriega Rios, they arrested her without incident.

They confirmed her identity later using fingerprints, the Times reported.

Noriega was purportedly a contact between the Michoacan cartel and the powerful Sinaloa cartel and its leaders, including top cartel boss Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, a man whom the U.S. Treasury Department has called the world’s most powerful drug trafficker.

Monk I agree with you. What about that homeless dude, wearing a borrowed ICE wind breaker. Something is very wrong here, very wrong. Do we detect holders ( caps not used on purpose) fine hand in this. Why did not our government not know who this women is? No something is very, very wrong here. Surely this women had the right to an attorney, why was she shipped back so quickly. It should have take two three months to deport her. Somewhere in our country some crooked politician is very rich tonight.

I am shocked and saddened that our beloved gov sent her back across the boarder! Didn’t king O and his creeper he/she/it homeland homie JUST get done saying that they would not deport anyone unless they had felony convictions here? That they weren’t considered a priority? If I were her, I would sue!!!
In all seriousness, this p!sses me off. Deported and sent back how many times? And never once did they print her her before sending her back and check it with the mexico authorities? Do they just give these illegals a ride to the boarder and that’s it??? Are you kidding me? What is or has been ICEs policy to process deportations?
I have always said that a huge portion of illegals have some type of criminal record at home-granted she is an extreme case, but I’m willing to bet that our gov is not now, nor will they check for past records before granting them a free ride here. Like mexico would even tell us the truth anyways…
BO will probably grant her hardship status and fast track her citizenship. Hope she brought a 2 yr old with her, better yet she pushed one out on USA soil…
Boy, I sure feel safe and secure here in AZ… thank goodness this was in CA cuz BO probably would have forced us to keep her ass and then sell her and her cartel guns to use on us.

Now wait a minute…….. was deported 5 times…….. but has no criminal convictions in the US…. Help me out – surely she wasn’t being deported for being here LEGALLY? And if she was being deported for being here ILLEGALLY then shouldn’t there be a CONVICTION? If I did something ILLEGAL there would be a CONVICTION on my RECORD.

I guess she was just a typical, hard working immigrant looking for opportunity. Looks like she found it huh?

WTF is the deal? Are the bureaucrats running the show slow learners or just stupid?

“Noriega Rios once used a gardening company to move drugs brought by sea into Long Beach, the newspaper said.”
    ==========================================

I remember reading an excerpt from a trade journal that was published two years after the initiation of NAFTA in 1994 that described this very scenario:

    ———————————-
“With the advent of NAFTA, the drug gangs expanded into many legitimate businesses which could be used for smuggling. U.S. officials have reported on their purchase of airlines, trucking companies, new and used car dealerships, petroleum transport corporations and others. However, the increasing use of intermediaries as owners have made it almost impossible to trace their activities in detail. Operations of this size could not be carried out without at least the passive cooperation of key government agencies. In fact, corruption of the Mexican authorities by the drug cartels is notorious. A former Baja California Mayor showed how hopeless enforcement is by stating that he could pay police $ 300 per month while the drug cartels were offering $1,000 per week.”

Well she would qualify for the DREAM Act amnesty, she has no criminal convictions in the U.S. and she’s under 30, DHS will probably just let her go and no one will be the wiser. She then gets to have her work permit and her legal status.
