‘Racist Zionist Pig’: U.S. Dept. of Ed. Investigating Anti-Jewish Allegations at Rutgers University

Anti Jewish Allegations Investigated By Government at Rutgers | Aaron Marcus

Rutgers University student Aaron Marcus

The U.S. Department of Education‘s Office of Civil Rights is apparently investigating Rutgers University over the college’s alleged response to anti-Semitism, according to the Huffington Post.

A complaint has been filed and vehemently defended by the Zionist Organization of America, a right-of-center Jewish advocacy group.

The complaint alleges that Jewish students at the college have been harassed, intimidated and discriminated against — a clear violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Any institution that receives federal funding is supposed to ensure that no programs discriminate on a racial or ethnic basis; if recipients do not comply, they risk losing federal funding.

The ZOA alleges that the Outreach Coordinator for the college’s Center for Middle East Studies harassed Aaron Marcus, a Jewish student, by posting an anti-Semitic comment on Facebook.  The ZOA has more:

The Outreach Coordinator referred on Facebook to the Jewish student as “that racist Zionist pig!!!!!!!!”  and encouraged others to “put his name in fb [Facebook] search . . .  he has a fb hate page” – as if celebrating that there was a Facebook page with hateful comments about the Jewish student, and encouraging others to find it so that they could read the comments and post their own hateful messages.

Below, watch Marcus discuss the alleged discrimination as well as his take on the overall climate at Rutgers:

The ZOA essentially believes that the university didn’t respond appropriately to the incident. A spokesperson for the U.S. Education Department confirmed to the Huffington Post that a complaint had been filed and that it is “currently under investigation. The probe was launched on October 26.

The initial complaint, which was filed in July, came as a result of students approaching the ZOA to discuss what they saw as an ”increasingly hostile and anti-Semitic” environment.  According to the ZOA, another Facebook comment read:

“As I was reading the  . . . [Jewish student’s] column [in the Rutgers student paper] this morning, I realized how Im [sic] a pretty angry person.  Id [sic] be happy to see him beat [sic] with a crow bar.  Violence doesnt [sic] solve problems but it shuts up people who shoudnt [sic] speak.” At least seven of the writer’s Facebook friends clicked “like” on this message, indicating their approval of the violent threat.

Apparently, seven individuals “liked” the comment on Facebook, apparently showing their agreement with its sentiments. Following these threats, the student reportedly took his name out of the Rutger’s directory, sought out police protection and filed a bias report with the school. The ZOA claims that what happened next is indefensible.

The organization says that the university waited one month to act and that the offender was only given a warning. While the ZOA claims that it tried to resolve the issue internally, the group inevitably went to the government for help when these attempts failed.

Rutgers denies these claims, though, and says they’re “not supported by the facts.” Additionally, the university defended itself, saying that it has a long history of working with the Jewish community as well as a track record of promoting civility. With its official response, Rutgers apparently also included a video of the school’s interfaith Thanksgiving. Watch it, below:

If the student’s claims check out, the ZOA hopes that the employee at the center of the controversy will be fired, as the group says that it’s important for all Jewish students to feel physically and emotionally safe.

Unless of course that “program” is AFFIRMATIVE ACTION !!! Well Jews are very proud of the work they have done for Civil Rights in this country. Please excuse me if I have a tough time weeping for those “chosen ones” who have convinced my employer that it is IMMORAL for him to promote me if there is ANYONE who is Jewish, African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, etc. who can at all be promoted over me. Oh, I forgot, good looking white WOMEN can be promoted over me too. Boo hoo, someone was mean to a Jew. Better get the hate crimes division working on it, because we all know that those Civil Rights workers won‘t be a doin’ nuttin’ for you and me!

Oh, and excuse me, COFEMALE, if I don’t buy into the “Jews are just superior” clap trap. I will argue that they are NEPOTISTIC and were smart enough to guilt our fathers and grand-fathers into signing OUR heritage and birthright away. But SUPERIOR? No, they just believe their Rabbis who tell them that I, whitey, don’t matter and that it is a mitzvah if they cheat a goy like me…

Aaron, those that have threatened you are cowards and by their own nature disrespect their own beliefs.

“Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

“Victory in war does not depend upon the size of the army, but on the strength that comes from heaven” (1 Maccabees 3:19)

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God and I will praise him, my father’s God and I will exalt him. The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name.
    Exodus 15: 2-3

Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered. Yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap we esteem too lightly.

Some of you are the most ingnorant bastards I have ever read. You want to talk about semantics? Because an Arab is a Semite and therefore can’t be anti-Semetic. You are freakin’ morons!
Could you imagine the outcry if a Jewish student threatened a Muslim or Arab student? How about a black student being threatened by a white supremisist group? And this hatred is being fomented by a racist professor paid for by the taxpayers of New Jersey and America.
If this was reversed she would have been fired months ago.
How about if that was your kid? Would you think is was fine that a professor of the University that you are paying thousands of dollars for an education and your son or daughter needs security because of his or her religion or ethnicity.
We have the same B.S. going on here at Kent State where a racist professor shouts “death to Isreal” at a forum featuring the Isreal ambassador. We can’t seem to get him fired either. You know “freedom of (hate) speech”.

Then he’d have to schlep himself all over town putting them up on telephone poles and in laundromats. In the ’90’s, he had the opportunity to convey his blather on Usenet, albeit with a limited audience of persons 10 times more intelligent than he. Now, with the advent of Internet 2.0 – one click of a mouse, and he’s an instant cyberspace celebrity with access to billions of users. He may be able to pick up a few acolytes amongst the low-brow rabble, but on the positive side, everyone can see what a bigoted moron he is, and laugh at him accordingly.

(which BTW there is a LAW AGAINST)..THEREFORE they should very well FACE the penalty the law extends for such a CRIME.. even discounting the HATE factor they are STILL guilty..it was NOT a blanket statement made but a DIRECT one.. and should be FIRED and those that punched LIKE should be expelled .. Furthermore the SCHOOL should have to PAY for the mental anguish as well as the parents of the students in this school should have enough self-respect no matter if they like Jewish people or not to STAND UP and demand that the school do THE RIGHT thing..

Palestine has been under oppressive attack for years by the US/Israel war machine. Reality is not always pleasant. What is this nonsensical idea of undermining the freedom of every person for the sake of sympathy for the Jews’ in world history? Israel and the Jews are strong people. They know how to take care of themselves. People who suggest they need their hand held in every world affair, in my opinion, represent the biggest insult and threat to the people of Israel and to their democracy; perpetuating the deceptive idea that the Israeli people and their religion are in accord with an oppressive national foreign policy.

Here are some actual references as evidence of the oppression of the Palestinian people by the US/Israel monstrosity:

From those articles, it would seem that Israel is punishing the PA by cutting off funding, not persecuting the people as your (likely intentional) vagueness seems to imply. The PA, by joining UNESCO, was essentially trying to force Israel into action, comparable to making sanctions it. Did you really expect Israel to take that lying down? Jew haters like Smack are trying to rewrite history. Contrary to what they would have the world believe, Israel was not created by a horde of conquering Jewish invaders. It came into being through a UN resolution, which the Arab states defied and launched a war to defeat. Similarly, Israel did not set out to conquer the Palestinians in 1967. Its presence in the territories is the direct result of an aggressive war planned and instigated by Arab states – including Jordan and its Palestinians – for the purpose of destroying Israel.

      Rose-Ellen
Zionism is generally defined as Jewish Nationalism, so if you consider that racist then all forms of nationalism, including Palestinian Nationalism, are racist. Being a Zionist means you believe the Jews have a right to a homeland and Israel has a right to exist. You can be Zionist and criticize Israeli policy. People do it to every other country in the world all the time. Being anti-Zionist (from my perspective) means you don’t believe Israel deserves to exist at all and Israel deserves to be wipes off the map which is my justification for equating it with antisemitism. It was you who chose to paint all supporters of Israel as supporters of genocide which makes you no better than people who call for genocide.

While I can agree that hate speech against Muslims is wrong, I find that the rest of your points are completely off. When has Hamas ever agreed to peacefully negotiate? They are a terrorist organization that has never even recognized Israel’s right to exist. When they attack Israel they intentionally target civilians and use their own people as human shields.

You say the pre-67 borders are universally recognized, yet their exists no treaty that defines those borders as the legally recognized bordered. An armistice, in which both sides agreed to merely stop fighting, established the 1948 armistice line (more commonly known as the pre-67 borders) which represented where the respective armies were when the fighting stopped. Nothing more.

And to call terrorists calling for Israel’s destruction, who have never recognized Israel’s right to exist, as being in favor of peace is just plain ignorance. You think Zionism is racist yet insist that all Arabs are on the side of peace and all Israelis are for is continued violence. Just in the past month in Egypt people have been calling for Israel’s destruction and the genocide. Abbas himself said that Jews would not be permitted to live in the future Palestinian state. Palestinians are allowed to live in Israel and, if they are citizens, can even vote. Can you guarantee that Jews and Israelis would be given the same courtesy? If that answer is anything other than “absolutely yes, without hesitation or precondition” I can’t support Palestinian independence.

And there you have it. Proof that smackdown has prejudged every Jew everywhere regardless of the fact that he has never met, spoken to, of even seen pictures of even one quarter of them. If it’s justifiable to judge all Jews based solely on their being Jewish, it would justify similar treatment of Muslims, Africans, Germans, Russians, etc. Unlike you I would never insist that someone is evil because they are Muslim, Christian, etc. You on the other hand never fail to assume every Jew is deserving of your suspicion or hatred.

Make it clearer? You clearly stated that the current rise of antisemitism is actually a “realism of the truth”. By that you indicated that you believe that people’s hatred of Jews is actually justified because the claims of Jewish wrongdoing are true. To believe all Jews are guilty of wrongdoings is to prejudge every Jew everywhere.

So, if I see this correctly, those who have been using our universities, and have intentionally infiltrated our teacher’s unions in order to realize an agenda of propaganda being started on children as young as is possible to pursue socially engineering our culture into something more desirable are now upset that the other side is using the structure they put in place to further a different agenda?

For more than 8 decades, the jewish leaders of the movement from the Frankfurt School have been using these same podiums to change our society, and now they’re upset because their rivals are using the system already in place?

    They’re all filth, both sides.

The Zionist Organization of America (?!) seems to be incorrect when it refers to the statement as ‘anti-Semitic’. This is because the supposed perpetrator’s name is Shehnaz Sheik Abdeljabber, a name not commonly given to European Gentile children. Now, there are two primary branches of Semitic peoples being (1) Jews and (2) Arabs.

So the Zionist Organization of America would be more accurate to label Shehnaz Sheik Abdeljabber’s opinion as ‘Judeo-aware’, instead of ‘anti-Semitic’. Let us analyze the statement:

    “that racist Zionist pig!!!!!!!!”

    1. Well, he is a self-described Zionist; and

    2. Jews are probably the most racially-aware people on the planet, a consciousness commonly labeled as ‘racist’; however

    3. Marcus appears to not be a pig.

So, in my judgment, all the Zionist Organization of America has on Shehnaz Sheik Abdeljabber is that he incorrectly identified Marcus as a pig. Which I believe is protected speech under the First Amendment.

There are times when I feel strongly that all this intra-Semitic fighting is not my nation’s problem and maybe they should all be returned to the Middle East where they can fight it out once and for all.

The First Amendment of the Constitution exists to protect, foremost, unpopular speech and expression. People have the right to express their opinions and and beliefs regardless of whether they are popular or supported opinions. This is a case of psychological warfare against our republic.. where sympathy for one group is being used to undermine the freedom of every person regardless of their affiliation. Efforts to protect one group of people by unraveling the fabric of liberty for every person is both illogical and immoral; and people who fall for this type of propaganda have lost the meaning of America, and failed to realize the methods by which tyranny takes root.

josh345, if there was a child that got expelled from school, one might say that it was the school at fault, and not the child. If that same child goes to another school and gets expelled, it is less likely the school, and probably more a behavioral problem with the child.
If that child goes to school after school, in different cultures after cultures, and different generations after generations, then, at some point it becomes obvious that the problem is one of behavior.

At the very least it’s worthy of immediate attention and investigation. Then the question becomes why. Why have different peoples, from many different cultures all over the world, from multiple generations, all come to the same conclusion in regards to Jews?
Is it the rest of the world, or is it in Jewish cultural behavior? A little commonsense goes a long way.

The why? I am not sure. But as history has proven, even though placing the blame on the Jewish people for the “different cultures” shortcomings, the annihilation or expulsion of the Jew from their respective locations, has not nor did not solve “the different peoples from many cultures” problems.

The problems were still existing after the Jews were murdered, expelled or imprisoned, and yet most of those “cultures” and countries don’t exist anymore but the Jews continue on.

      @smack
Allow me to go back to your school parable. Let’s say that this takes place before the civil war. A black man, who isn’t a slave, is kicked out or denied entrance from many schools because he’s black. Finally one school accepts him and doesn’t discriminate. Then someone brings his expulsion record forward and says “See. They did it and it must have been for a good reason. We should expel him too.” You are making assumptions based solely upon actions and purposefully ignoring the motivation behind those actions. Why? Because by ignoring the true motivation you can ascribe a different one.
