Radio Caller Blasts Al Sharpton Over Palin Blame Game in AZ Shooting

When an irate caller phones into Rev. Al Sharpton’s nationally syndicated radio program to condemn the widespread blaming of Sarah Palin and political rhetoric for last Saturday’s shooting, Sharpton’s guest, Jeff Johnson, jumps into defend the false narrative.
“Whether it’s Sarah Palin on the right or whether its other folks on the left — and I don’t think the left is off the hook on this either — but we were talking about her comment in particular,” Johnson remarked. “You don’t believe that both she and people on the left and the media for that matter are responsible for promoting the kind of environment that encourages this kind of stuff to happen?”
“No,” the Ohio caller responds. “It ain’t Sarah Palin. It’s the people that host these shows and all this stuff that throw this out here,” he said.
“[Palin]’s public enemy number one to the left. Now for her to get all this attention, she must be top dog. That’s my two cents,” he concluded.

Ignoring that the two have entirely different purposes, how is Sarah Palin considered an equal to the sitting President?
I have nothing against Gov Palin, but this obsession with the losing VP candidate from the last presidential electionis, in my mind, unprecedented.

She epitomizes those of us in fly-over country, which is why they demonize her. They say they want her to be the GOP candidate, supposedly because she would be easy for BO to beat….in reality being scared to death that it would be just the opposite! BDS was bad, PDS makes it look like BDS like a minor case of the flu. I personally would prefer that she not run, because they would wrought great damage on her personally, but as has been shown, also her children. Republican children are not immune to direct attacks the way the democrap’s children are immune. I care too much about this family to want to see that happen. Herman Cain or Jonathon Huntsman, Jr. would be my choices to run in 2012. They have grown children.

I remember hearing someone arguing about this guy Bernays many years ago during an argument and have racked my memory since 5:00 trying to figure out who it was that was arguing about his influence. BECKISNUTS ain’t one of them. Although I do disagree with him and think Beck is right on track, I believe he is a conservative that just doesn’t get it. I don‘t know WHY he doesn’t get it, but he is NOT a troll here and is just disagreeing with Glenn. On that note.
@BECK, just because he hasn‘t responded to you emails doesn’t mean a thing. If you hear his radio show a you know he works like 18 hours a day. He doesn’t really have time to rehash what his opinion to you in a way ONE PERSON would understand. If you DON’T agree with him, and are trying to get him to explain in an email to you what he spends 4 hours a day trying to say, than he probably thinks you are a lost cause.
Just my opinion, and I don’t know, but I don’t think you are a troll at all, just a misguided man.
And I pray that if the poop DOES hit the fan, you will survive.

Thank you for sharing your insights – I am a conservative. I also know that Beck is damaging our cause and I have stated in detail why many times here. Glenn is making himself rich by selling fear, paranoia and armageddon, (not to mention merchandise nobody needs.) And then he uses God and our flag to shield himself from any criticism.
Glenn and his staff also hacked into my account here on The Blaze, and used my password to log in as “BeckIsNuts.” Then, in their frustration at my persistence, they posted a spiteful and childish message under my name. The attention is flattering, but it really calls into question the ethics of the people in charge of this website and again reflects badly on Glenn. I have refrained from using foul and racist language here and have only strayed off topic to defend myself on occassion from childish attacks from a few misguided Blaze posters, so I find efforts to silence me by staff on The Blaze to be wrong and unAmerican. All points of view should be permitted in the public square. If The Blaze wants to have a place in the public square, it should abide by our Constitution and allow unfettered freedom of speech.
Thanks again My Sacred Honor. You are class act and a decent person and you have my respect FWIW.

This was an exercise to illustrate how bogus Glenn’s gimmick of having a red phone/hotline set up on his show so Obama could call him if he disputed any of Glenn’s statements on his administration.

Posted on January 14, 2011 at 12:20pmNut… I don’t think Glen has the time to read all or any of the posts on this web site so 1. he doesn’t know what you are posting and 2. because he doesn‘t see your posts he doesn’t really have your email. Just like if you would yell your email address in the woods were no one is, no one would hear it.
Glen got conformation for the white house that they had his number and they have admitted to having someone watch and monitor his show. They also did call to corrected him regarding Van Jones. Beck may know what stories are on the Blaze but he does not know what people are posting about the articles.
I have only seen a some of your posting and most of them just say I’ve sent Glen my email. You want him to comment on every post you make and today alone you have made so many he would have to quit his job just to answer you. Perhaps if you actually had a voice that he could hear (like a tv show or a radio show) he could respond to your comments.
I’m sure you are very disappointed that Mr. Beck has not gotten back to you or even noticed you. Many poeple would like Mr. Beck to be able to let them know what he thinks about their post, but it’s just not something he would be able to do. You do seem to want his approval or disapproval rather desperately. Perhaps you should try calling his show, you would have a better chance of him actually hearing you. By the number of posts you made on this story alone, I’m sure you have enough time to make the call. Good luck.
