Rage: Saudi Police Open Fire on Protesters

CAIRO (AP / THE BLAZE) — Saudi police have opened fire at a rally in the kingdom’s east in an apparent escalation of efforts to stop planned protests. The protesters have called for a “Day of Rage” on Friday.

Rage: Saudi Police Open Fire on Protesters

Government officials have warned they will take strong action if activists take to the streets after increasing calls for large protests around the oil-rich kingdom to press for democratic reforms.

Rage: Saudi Police Open Fire on Protesters

A witness in the eastern city of Qatif says gunfire and stun grenades were fired at several hundred protesters marching in the city streets Thursday. The witness, speaking on condition of anonymity because he feared government reprisal, said police in the area opened fire. The witness saw at least one protester injured.

Where have I heard the “day of rage” before? Oh, yes. It’s the slogan of the Radical Left here in America. And they’ll stop at nothing. What they are doing in Wisconsin is who they are. Issuing death threats to elected officials is the name of their game.

Now they have taken their community organizing to the Islamic world which is undoubtedly going to usher in the Caliphate.

Of course, the Radical Left never think about the consquences to their dirty deeds, do they?

This (and the unrest happening all over the region) reminds me of a line from the movie Lawrence of Arabia: “So long as the Arabs fight tribe against tribe, so long will they be a little people, a silly people – greedy, barbarous, and cruel, as you are.” T. E. Lawrence speaking to the Arab Prince.

Well, lets see…….there is so much oil off the coast of California that they have to clean up the oil seeping out, we saw the oil pouring out of the BP spill. Now we are not drilling anywhere, so if the earth is warmer guess the pressure is building where we will have more seepage. Meanwhile we are hostage to what is happening in the Middle East and paying $4.00 to whatever for gas. Seems like a perfectly sane solution to me…………for LIBERALS!!!

Exactly, and the Bible tells us that the middle east will be on fire in the last days. I am just waiting for some Islamic Radical to get a nuke, blow it up, then maybe the rest of the idiots in television will see just how extremely dangerous they are. I use to live next door to a Muslim, and every week she would get beat by her husband. Every week, I would call the police to get him stopped. Finally, she came over to our house, and pleaded with my family for help. We got her into a home for abused women, and he moved back to Yemen. All Muslims are not bad or extremist, but those who are need to be stopped and punished. I am just waiting for the redemptive day of our Savior to return and get us out of here.

I agree that we need to make ourselves more energy independent. But doing so in an intelligent manner, wherever that leads (weather it be responsible drilling, nuclear, solar, etc).
We need to stop being dependent on the mideast and others and that way we wont need to meddle in other countries businesses.
We need to be more in control of our own affairs, but do so in a smart fashion.

Our President was so quick to call for the removal of the Egyptian President, and yet so silent on Libya. Why?? What will happen if Saudi Arabia goes down? Oil will go up!! We are at fault, since we have stood with these tyrants for decades. All because they have the oil. Why is no one asking our President why we are not drilling here? Why do we have oil wells just sitting idle, that are still full of crude? Why have we elected a man that wants to stop the use of oil in America? There is enough oil here on our turf to last us at least a hundred and fifty years. I am a friend of a man that works for a major oil company, and I am told that they are finding tons of oil in old wells that were once dry. They have the data that shows, oil is being replenished on old wells by a rate of 75% a year. We have enough, and we should drill here, and Drill NOW!!
Thank you Obama, for your STUPID economic policy, you are really destroying the United States of America. Faster than anyone even realizes.

He is also a pathological liar like every other radical lefty on the planet. They have to lie because the truth would be their end. As to the chaos and violence…..it’s exactly what these evil bastards want. If only we could keep from playing into their hands. We could all start by denouncing the psychological blackmail of political correctness. We who love this country need to get up, collectively, and peacefully defy these people. Our days of sitting on the couch are over. It‘s time to shove these hippies from the 60’s back in their dark coffee houses with their nonsensical poets spouting gibberish while wearing tights and puka beads.

There is a whole Sunni VS Shiite thing going on here (not too far) behind the scenes. The Iranian Shiites will arm rebels against the the Sunni rulers in Saudi Arabia and King Abdullah isn’t even on speaking terms with Obama anymore from what I have heard. You can bet the King sees this as a fight for his life after watching Hosni Mubarak get run over by the Obama bus.

      @GONZO

You are right! I just read an article today by Byron King, “1,354 years in the Making: The “NEW” War”. His article talks about the history of the hate between the Sunni and Shia muslims in the middle east after the murder of Mohammed. He shows a map displaying the concentration of each group of muslims, with Iran having the greatest concentration of Shia. He talks about the Saudi royal family who are Sunni and how they supported Iraq in the war with Iran in the 1980′s, and that now Iran wants “payback”. Mr. King also talks about it being about controling “oil chokepoints” (the Strait of Hormuz and Yemen’s Gate of Tears). It is an interesting and scary take on current and possible future events in the middle east. Least we not forget “Saudi Arabia is also the home to Mecca, Islam’s holiest place”. EVERYBODY HOLD ON TIGHT!!!

And it was the fact that American capitalism brought them their Oil Wealth but in the 60′s Revolution took hold around the world and they Nationalized all resources except in the US and we have the situation we have now. With US hardware bringing up the oil and we are held hostage to the owners of the land.

Now this portends of really bad tidings.

I’m not a fan of conspiracy theories, but it seems absolutely implausible to me that so many countries in the middle east are exploding all at once like this. Saudi Arabia practically gives each citizen a hotel just for being born in the country, for goodness sake, and they have an “day of rage”? Coincidently, Yahoo news just last week was sporting an article on how we *will* get by on $10.00 a gallon gasoline, where there was no real threat of that happening. Coincidence? Oh come now, please.

But if Saudia Arabia goes down in flames, gasoline will go through the roof in ways we probably cannot dream. There goes the economy if that happens. $4 a gallon was the catalyst that helped broker in our 2008 collapse (helped, not caused exclusively), imagine what $10.00 a gallon would do.

Seen this awhile back on Drudgereport, and yes, here we go now…I have to wonder what the POTUS will do in Wisconsin to keep our eyes off of this situation, and use the resulting chaos to crack down even harder than ever before.

Understand, many have been calling on the speculators of the oil market for blame of oil prices going up so fast; and they are mostly correct, to the best I can figure on. However, with the fact Obama has given carte blanch via executive fiat for new regulations to be imposed over, say, wall street, and the other markets…watch for a sudden move to crack down on those ‘commiting fraud and violations of regulations’ and such.

I think ultimately what we are seeing happen is a confluence of events; in the middle east, many of the groups, especially the Muslum Brotherhood, are taking advantage of a window in which the USA is for all intensive purposed useless under Obama.

We have a hostile POTUS who wishes to break and reshape the nation to his nightmare, and many other nations who wish to bring us down several notches; along with the revolting UN especially.

This is THEIR time, their window of opportunity, and it will remain open only for so long; it will lay the foundation for events in the next generation or two, and what will ultimately come out of it will lay on the foundation of what we decide to do today in first saving this nation.

No coincidence…once new protests, started by the people, the negative entities took that opportunity to jump in and pretend they are real supporters (i.e.; Muslim Brotherhood). The countries that have signed peace treaties with the US and other countries, to aid Israel if attacked, are choice. Saudia Arabia is doing what they should. They’ve known for weeks about this Day of Rage and are prepared accordingly. Israel is always prepared, and you can see why.
