Raid Reveals Osama bin Laden‘s ’Veritable Playbook’ for al Qaeda Action

ABC News:

U.S. intelligence is now in possession of a veritable “playbook” of al Qaeda operations — from potential terror attack targets to information on international safe houses and top commanders — thanks to the Navy SEAL raid that took down Osama bin Laden Sunday, officials told ABC News today.

The cache of electronic and handwritten materials obtained by the SEALs includes numerous hallmark al Qaeda plots including attacks on infrastructure targets such as water supply and transportation including rail and air, in what one official described as a “strategic guide for how to attack the U.S.” In the past, al Qaeda planned for attacks on water supplies have included an interest in mining dams and in poisoning water supply. Intelligence experts have also have found what appears to be information about safe houses around the world and about al Qaeda leadership.

    INDEED “Osama bin Laden’s central theme is the suffering and humiliation of the Muslims in the hands of non-Muslims led by the USA. He conveys a pan-Islamic nationalist worldview that Muslims have been facing an existential threat from forces led by the U.S.” This is the central theme also of millions of Muslims. However, the way to defend against this is not the violence. His theme will live even with those who very much disagree with his means to achieve the goal.
    OBL advised the Muslims all over the world , they must continue their struggle to abolish the lordship of non muslims over muslim countries and establish the islamic shariah for the pleasure of Allah and for the success in the Life Hereafter.
    Osama Bin Laden will be remembered as the anti-imperialist hero . Indeed he was a freedom fighter, at war with imperialists and the time will tell whether his methods are justified or not.
    The best way to render al-Qaeda ineffective would be to reduce the political tensions between “the world system” and the world of Islam. In other words, it would be only a disaster if America decides to broaden its “war on terror,” by bombing or occupying Muslim lands, or by unrestrainedly supporting countries that do so, such as Israel. That will only heighten the feeling, “the Muslim ummah and Islam is under attack,” and thus create new recruits for jihad. If you want to prevent the rise of such militants, then you should make their base safe and respected, not threat

    UNIONS and UBL

    Out of what has been describes as ‘information about the size of a small college library’ the first information the admin releases is that there are targets to our “transportation and infrastructure”. Hey, hey….this is the very same ‘transportation and infrastructure” that obama is insisting we borrow more money to give to UNIONS to spend on ‘trans & infrastructure”. How lucky can we be that the VERY FIRST to PROFIT from this TREASURE TROVE of Info will be the UNIONS !!! Boy oh boy, can the LIES get any BIGGER ???? Now we use the threats of UBL to FINANCE THE UNIONS ??? These ‘targets’ have always been know, but now they will become the BIG STORY and will be WE HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY …..give it to the UNIONS and their buddy barry, they will stoop at anything.

    If this had happened during WWII it would have been at least 10 days to two weeks so that the information could be acted on. What a wasted opportunity. The German u-boat fleet was destroyed by capturing maps and a code machine, arguably the greatest tactical secret of the war. Has no one read Sun Tzu “The Art of War”? We were played in the Vietnam War and now we are making the same stupid mistakes. Terrorist send packages to public building with boom making parts, then watch national TV to find out the results. And here we are throwing away the greatest chance to do damage to middle eastern Terrorist for political reelection reasons.

    I think that our government is letting to much information out about the raid and tactics and needs to shut it’s mouth on some of this. They are just trying to help themselevs out political with this and are just doing a poor job. The Navy Seals and the Intel people should get all credit for finding and taking him out there was only a kill order for this moron and thats they way it should have been. Knowing our political climate they left would have wanted to give him all kind’s of rights he is never deserving of at all and died just made it cleaner to deal with.

    EP46: You are absolutely right. And further, I fear our DOJ is setting up our SEALS. They are now saying they did not SEE wheather Obama was armed; The SEALS made the decision to kill instead of capturing; and they are talking about LISTENING to Osama’s widow and daughter saying Osama was captured THEN killed. Mark my words, this admin is going to TRY prosecuting our SEALS the same way they are trying to prosecute our CIA.

    I heard some very frighting news today. A group is trying to get the government of Pakistan to step down. Well, is this what the ‘other hand” was doing ? The group that put obama in the White House is the same group that is ‘removing’ every leader around the world that has ties with the U.S. and replacing them with the ‘chosen’ ones. If this ‘group’ gets their chosen leaders into power in Pakistan with the nuclear weapons it will be the crime of civilization.

    Bin Laden’s intent was always to bring down Western Civilization, and bleed us dry. Like all terrorists who have no conscience, who would be considered psychopaths and put away in our society, he didn’t care how he did it.

    His intention was always to bring down America from within. And the dhimmis in our government are helping him succeed at this by not approaching intelligence in a pragmatic way rather than targeting small children at airports.

    I don’t know what or whom to believe anymore. Outside of Rush and Glenn, (and maybe Hannity, don’t hear him much anymore) I don’t think anyone is being honest anymore. How many stories have there been about OBL, UBL…whatever? One says he’s been dead for a decade. Some say he was diabetic and had kidney disease, which required dialysis. My guess it’s hard to get dialysis and watch your diet, while hiding in caves,or even in a Pakistani military compound. If the seals killed him, why dump the body so quickly, and then not show the pictures? What is there to hide? Are we really concerned about inflaming people who have been angry for ten centuries or more, and are themselves demanding release of the pictures? Nothing makes sense to me. NOTHING.
