Raw Video: Security Camera Captures Brazilian Students Scrambling to Flee Islam-Focused Gunman

The New York Times:

RIO DE JANEIRO — As family members mourned their loved ones and kept vigil at hospitals for the injured, this city searched for understanding Thursday after a shooting at a public school left 12 students dead and 12 others wounded.

Brazil is no stranger to urban violence, especially the kind of violence in gang-controlled slums that have given this city one of the highest murder rates in the world. But the specter of the schoolhouse massacre was thought to be a mostly American affliction.

On Thursday, the Tasso da Silveira elementary and middle school, a three-story aqua-and-yellow schoolhouse in the working-class neighborhood of Realengo, on the west side of Rio, joined the ranks of Columbine High School in 1999 and Virginia Tech University in 2007, sites of other school shootings. For the victims’ families, the massacre brought those tragedies home.

Deutsche Presse-Agentur:

Roselane de Oliveira, a sister of the attacker, told Rio de Janeiro radio station Band News that the young man ‘was very strange.’

‘He had no friends, and he spent all his time on the Internet,’ she said.

In recent months, she said, he appeared to have got closer to Islam.

    HOW ABOUT A HISTORY BOOK!

Why not print the entire thing, Zay? Instead of trying to create false context?

      Psalm 137

1By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

2We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.

3For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

4How shall we sing the LORD’s song in a strange land?

5If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.

6If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

7Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.

8O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.

9Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

TODAY Muslims are involved in civil wars in China, Russia, Bosnia, Cyprus, India, Indonesia, Kashmir, Kosovo, Kurdistan, Macedonia, Israel, Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Philippines, Chechnya, Sudan, Thailand, Yemen, Chad and Uganda. (Bing search “civil wars in the world”).
There is a pattern in Islam: Civil war happens wherever large Muslim populations exist.

It is only since the Internet — uncontrolled by self-serving kings, sheikhs, elitist politicians, imperialists, oil barons and multinational corporations — that the truth about Islam’s 1,400 year war against all non-Muslim cultures is becoming common knowledge.

In 637AD (as Islam proceeded to conquer Christian Byzantium, India and Spain) General Khalid said: “We heard that Byzantine blood is the tastiest, and we have come to drink it.” But this is how Egyptian Cleric Hamdan Badr explained General Khalid’s aggression: “This didn’t constitute aggression because we were defending the borders of the Islamic state. We are commanded to enjoin people to worship Allah. That is the mission of every Muslim in this life.” (Al-Shabab TV, 12/8/09)

Anywhere Muslims live becomes an Islamic border which must be defended.

Look at the link provided above by Cheezwhiz for an intro into the extent it within latin america. Then consider all the bloodshed in Africa. Recall janjaweed ethnic cleansing, rape and child slavery involves black muslims because they are not arab. Under muslim arab control, the greatest transfer of wealth ever known to mankind continues to fund islamic dawa. The surge of muslim demographics , particularly in oil producing nations reveals a sudden up tic in unabashed anti-semetism, anti-zionism (see the transition of Scandinavian countries) while increasingly frightened EU elite escalating kneejerk appeasement (dhimmi reactions) ensures continued, uninterrupted flow of petro dollars from around the globe, funding dawa (think mega mosques and those nefarious “Islam, believe it or else” interfaith dialogue centers.)

Do you guys never read the links? Here’s what the NYT peice said:

A letter found in Mr. Oliveira’s pocket made it clear that the attack was premeditated, and that he intended to die, but it offered no motive for the shootings.

Instead, he left explicit instructions for his burial — he wanted to be near his adopted mother, who died in 2009 — and the disposition of his house, which he wanted to donate to an animal shelter. He asked to be buried in a way that reflected some aspects of Islamic tradition, including in a white sheet he said he left in a bag on the first floor of the school, but he also asked Jesus for eternal life.

In the only reference to his deed, he sought “God’s forgiveness for what I have done.”

Noticed how you didn’t read here that he “asked Jesus for eternal life” and that he sought, “God’s forgiveness..” (not Allah’s).

I know Muslim bashing is popular, but this is a big stretch given the guys own words.

Pray for the families. And pray for a better world, not a worse one.

      JZS,
Just because he covered all his bases doesn‘t mean he wasn’t radicalized. The suicide attack was prompted by jihad doctrine, not Jesus.

Let me explain something to you. Notwithstanding its current government, Brazil has been a Catholic country since it’s foundation. For centuries there was no separation of church and state, and that meant that religious indoctrination — and I mean that in a negative sense — was commonplace. The guy’s suicide note proves that the he did not have real faith in Jesus, only the typical superstitious beliefs about God that the Catholic Church instilled for centuries in an ignorant populace to retain political power.

Brazil IS predominantly black. There is also a lot of German blood in the upper class.

I agree that there are a lot of Arabs in Latin America, and that they are being Islamized by Iran with the help of Chavez and his satellite states, but African Jihad is just as real as its ME counterpart. It is not as organized yet, but Awlaki, who is in Yemen, is taking care of that.

JZS: kryptonite, where do you get your information that he was a radical/jihadist/catholic? I didn’t read that part. Or maybe you just made it up.
      ——————–
JZS, If you don’t know the culture, it’s going to be really hard for a liberal like you to get this. First, here’s what the NY Times article says:

==> “A longtime neighbor and former member of Mr. Oliveira’s church said Mr. Oliveira had been a lifelong Jehovah’s Witness before turning to Islam two years ago. Other neighbors on the street where he grew up said he had few friends and spent many hours in front of his computer on social networking sites.”

You can stick your head in the sand and refuse to see that this shooter was radicalized. After all, you libs are still in denial about Hasan. Of course he was radicalized — via the Internet. His oldest stepsister stated that he had become a Muslim and had grown a beard. According to her (and the police who probably checked his computer) this guy was on his computer all day long visiting Muslim websites. Also, in his letter he asked to be washed and buried in a clean white cloth (kafan) and forbade (oh the arrogance of Islam!) “unclean” people to touch his dead body. FYI, the Obamamedia wants to keep you in the dark concerning world Islamization.
      http://barenakedislam.wordpress.com/2011/04/08/guess-what-the-media-didnt-tell-you-about-the-school-shooter-in-brazil-hint-he-wasnt-a-tea-party-supporter-upset-about-obamacare/
      http://www.favstocks.com/rio-school-shooter-was-a-devout-muslim/0843116/

In the gunman’s note, there is evidence of ingrained Catholic doctrine, as well. He asks that someone pray for him at least once, so that God forgives him and Jesus resurrects him. That is Catholic doctrine. Protestants don’t pray for the dead. Furthermore, Jesus is our sole mediator.

==> “Just so I have this straight, all Muslims are evil AND all Catholics are evil? There are about a billion of each in the world. Did Christ lead you to hate 2 billion people, or is that just you?”
      ——–
Are all libs prone to softening of their brain tissue or is it just Obum — and you? I specifically made reference to the Catholic hierarchies in Latin American countries. Yes, for the most part, they are corrupt, but they are not the focus of my attention. I mentioned them for your sake, given that you misread the shooter’s last words.

kryptonite, His last words were to beg forgiveness from God (not Allah) and Jesus Christ. His last words. Peddle your Islamaphobia elsewhere, but he died giving his respects only to the Christian religion. I’m not blaming the Christian religion for his acts, I’m just saying you are stretching the facts past the breaking point to say he was a jihadist/Muslim/Catholic.

Maybe you should replace Glenn – you’ve invented a new category of people trying to destroy our nation: Catholics/Jehovah Witnesses with Islamic sympathies. They are everywhere, and threaten our freedom. Good luck promoting that theory.

JZS: “…he died giving his respects only to the Christian religion.”

He was a Catholic who converted to Islam. Disregarding the evidence – which I laid out for you — only makes you disingenuous.

He couldn‘t have been a Jehovah’s Witness because they don’t pray for the dead, and in any case, they believe Jesus already came back. And one cannot profess to be a Christian, and then commit premeditated murder. Also, it is not true that he asked forgiveness of God. He said someone should go pray so God would forgive him. That is not true faith; it is superstition. Obviously, you are unable to discern between the two, so there is no point in discussing this any further.

==> “…you’ve invented a new category of people trying to destroy our nation: Catholics/Jehovah Witnesses with Islamic sympathies.”

Don’t be such a jackazz, JZS. This happened in Brazil.

You’re the one who is making things up. You are labeling this vile suicide shooter as a Christian, so Muslims won’t look bad. In other words, you are an Islamist sympathizer, just like Hussein. Get saved and stop siding with those who do evil.
