Crime

Hooker Posing as a Cop Busted by Bystander

Thank God for shows such as “Cops.” A Ft. Meyers woman called police when she noticed that a “cop” trying to arrest a man for soliciting sex just didn’t seem to be in line with what she usually sees on TV. She was right.

Announcer: “Kelly Myers [the witness] says she’s watched enough TV to know how a sting is supposed to happen.”

Myers: “Then the police would be right there on ‘em.”

Looks like they’ll legalize, or at least de-criminalize ( sounds Orwellian) weed. Prostitution can’t be too far behind. Crime will always be with us, if we want fewer crimes and fewer criminals we should have fewer laws.

As far as i have seen (dont have any stats) Crime is up across the board. I cant go a day without hearing about someone robbing a bank or assaulting/robbing somebody. Like Freedom said. It’s going to get worse if we dont get people back to work.

We moved from Fort Myers several years ago and Palm Beach Blvd has always and I mean always been bad for prostitution and other crimes. Businesses on that stretch of road keep their doors locked at all times.

Sounds like Nancy Pelosi’s previous stint as a pretend representative of the people is not working out and has caused her to find another line of work

The real problem is the “victimless crime” laws. The 18th amendment (prohibition) did not work. The marijuana laws only insure that the distribution profits from marijuana go to organized crime. Prostitution is supposed to be the world’s oldest profession, so that law must not work either. Elimination of the “victimless crime laws” would allow the police to protect life and property and remove one of the anchors on the economy.

After many years of observing government and studying society, I would disagree with prostitution being the oldest profession, it is the tax collector that is the oldest.

@Actually, you’re both wrong: Gardening is the world’s oldest profession.

Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

I’m totally with you on prohibition of any form. We part ways on prostitution.

The damage done to the liberty of the people by the “war on drugs” far exceeds, and is of an immeasurably more corrosive nature, than anything drug addicts or alcoholics could ever impose. There is no moral justification, in my opinion, for any Federal prohibition on recreational drugs of any form.

Endstatism … Sorry but “Pimp” is the oldest. Pimp gets the woman… woman gets the man… man pays woman.. woman pays pimp… man wants some money back, so he taxes pimp 20%

      Makes Tax collector 3 oldest.
