Dr. Joseph Warren is a founding father you may not have heard too much about. Instrumental in the American Revolution and responsible for enlisting Paul Revere to the cause, Dr. Warren was the author of words that have since been used by politicians like Ronald Reagan in speeches that are still applicable today. Dr. Warren’s beliefs largely keep tradition with the sentiments of the modern day tea party. This week’s “Real History” documentary on “Real News From The Blaze,” profiles Dr. Warren and how his thoughts and beliefs can inform our current political discussion.

Posted on August 24, 2012 at 8:10pmfrom the Hon. Ronald Reagan’s first Inaugural Address –
“On the eve of our struggle for independence a man who might have been one of the greatest among the Founding Fathers, Dr. Joseph Warren, President of the Massachusetts Congress, said to his fellow Americans, “Our country is in danger, but not to be despaired of…. On you depend the fortunes of America. You are to decide the important questions upon which rests the happiness and the liberty of millions yet unborn. Act worthy of yourselves.”
“Act worthy of yourselves.” LET THIS BE OUR BATTLE CRY!!
