After Watergate, there was “KoreaGate,” the subject of this week’s “Real History” segment on “Real News From The Blaze.”
President Richard Nixon had decided that he wanted to pull troops out of South Korea. It had large domestic support, but South Korea was not so keen to the idea. The administration then concocted a fairly intricate plan to reverse this decision which involved bribing 10 Democratic members of Congress. But that’s not all it involved, it also involved investing in American universities to teach South Korean culture.

Report Post »It was a terrific segment the guy is brilliant and you don’t post it?? Who makes these decisions at The Blaze? Freedom of religion is the most critical subject facing our nation and certainly the most important to Glenn Beck and you don’t post a first class segment on the topic ???
Post it please A.S.A.P. !!!

Posted on July 27, 2012 at 7:43pmFast forward to today and the S.Koreans don’t appreciate the sacrifice we made for their freedom,so I say pull out pronto and see how they defend themselves against the maniacal communist regime from the north.
The South Koreans will flee the death cult of communism by the millions, just like they do all over the world when communists try expanding.

Posted on July 27, 2012 at 8:00pmthe S Korean economy is at least 10 times bigger than the North. They are more than capable of matching the North militarily.
As we all know, entitlements make people weak. Time to let the South Koreans stand on their own two feet – we can continue to support them without our heavy footprint

Posted on July 28, 2012 at 12:11pmUnfortunately, South Korea is only like a hundred miles from Japan, so any troops and weaponry we pulled out of the mainland, we would just end up having to reallocate to Japan if the North Koreans took over the south.
