    why is it all i see on news is syria when 10 hours from my house 47,000 people have been murdered and i rarely hear about it?

    I do wish The Blaze would type out the transcript. I am hearing impaired and have difficulty with especially female voices. Also the fact that they talk faster than an Air Traffic Control person giving clearances does not help any either.
    I have given up trying to listen to Real News that comes on after Glenn on GBTV. Frustrating!

    They have valid information but other than the journalism media, what backgrounds do these GBTV people have? Were they Intel analysts at one time? Just wondering. I can understand the guy from the Heritage Foundation and his source of information but these GBTV personalities, did they spent time in the Intel or even Law Enforcement community or not?

    Ya know…I like Glenn Beck but why…why if his report was sooo very shocking and eye opening, wasn’t it made available to everyone to watch. I can’t find it anywhere so I guess I have to join GBTV to get access. I’m having problems from being disabled to afford the monthly charge for membership. I’d rather get a couple gallons of gas to get to the doctors…and back.

      I’m not being a smartass; but you can see the show by using the 14 day free trial…it‘ll blow your mind to see what’s actually going on down by the border…it’s not just Mexicans & drugs-it’s Hezbollah leaving behind prayer rugs & gov’t agencies that are stopping border agents from doing their job protecting our border. To top it ALL off… Obama’s taking all the agents from the Northern Border, leaving us open to all sorts of attacks. Btw, on 10/05/11 muslim extremists crossed the border with a weapon of mass distruction (WMD). Have you heard about that ANYWHERE? yeah, me neither. Obama & Big Sis are destroying our Nation.

    …the progressive power brokers want the north american continent to become one. canada, mexico, and the US. one big happy family with one currency (much like the euro). why do you think our border is still wide open? and don’t you think these “drug lords” know it? they have immunity until our FEDGOV feels that we are ready to accept defeat and join mexico and canada as one continental country. then…when it is convenient they will be put down by our new military coalition. until then keep listening to glenny’s sermons…buy some overpriced gold and some overpriced dry food.

    I don’t blame the cartels…they are just suppyling a product too many people want.
    I would like to see several hundred pounds of cocaine ( removed from ssb’s out of central america-we do this all the time) and laced with somthing extra, then given back to the smugglers( easy enough to do) and set up a map and track the dead bodies on it with little red push pins. ( Might get government grant for it!! ha)

      Actually, the very sort of thing you described here happened during the Prohibition Era….

      The federal government poisoned contraband beer, wine, & spirits so that people would die when they drank it…

    To all who aer having problems watching GBTV….buy some RAM will ya? You need at least 3 GB to run all the apps effectively. Check the version of Java and upgrade on your PC, get a real ISP that can provide the proper bandwidth…cable is not the best way, as more people get on cable the response rate slows measureably. Check the proxy’s and firewalls, if you cant do that, there are people that can…

If we as a society were not into instant gratification and utopia we’d be better off. If we had a gov’t that truely cared about our safety, they would close the borders too. It can be done, but there is no will to do that, because our Marxists in gov‘t want an ’open (borderless) society’. To hell with our soverienty right, and our constitution – eh the 5th column has now taken over – watch out for the next goose step people, it‘s a comin’ fast!

      If Americans would repeal the 21st Amendment and reinstate Prohibition over beer again, then the cartels would stop peddling drugs and go back into the business of running bootleg liquor across the border into the U.S. just like they did 90 years ago.

      Then we wouldn’t have to worry about the drug problem any longer because folks would be spending all of their free time trying to score a 6-pack from an underground home brewery somewhere.

      If the war on drugs had ever been a serious effort, the border would have been closed decades ago.
      The whole thing is a giant fraud. I do not support the legalization of drugs but I do support disolving the federal laws and agencies because its a BIG WASTE.

    First off my experience of GBTV has been different to others. Streaming has not been a problem, Live or in Replay mode. I’m on cheap DSL too. So I can’t answer why others are experiencing issues. Have you guys and gals tried dropping down the HD quality?

    With regards to “Real News”, yeah as others have mentioned the first thing that came to my mind is “The Five” on Fox News. It’s not a bad show but it needs work. I‘m sorry but I can’t get past anyone wnating to be calling by their initials and i’m referring to S.E. Cupp. A good looking lady and I don‘t know why Glenn thinks she’s so awesome? I don’t, sometimes her interviews and opinions come off as dumb.

    Will Allen IMO comes off as the star of the show. Amy Holmes does a good job but is rarely seen during the show and acts as the ringmaster. Buck Sexton always has insightful opinions and thoughts on security issues, just don’t let him write a piece without sending it thru a spell checker first.

    The retired school teacher has little value and adds little unless it has to do with teaching. The show definitely needs some heavyweights to lift the shows quality. I would love to see Ann Coulter, Pat Buchanan or other vets of the business making appearances. And please quit the Skype stuff it looks sophomoric. Have them go to a local news station especially if they are vets in the business. Interviewing David Horowitz via Skype looks bad.

    The show does have potential but not in its current for and format.

    Why not get a panel of talking bodies who have some kind of clue as to what they are talking about? Sure a problem but Mexico Gov wants the drug lords there so the people would stay depend at on the Gov?? To the uninformed it all sounds so great an truthful

    One glaring omission from the conversation The United States government on all levels.
    The amount of drugs ALLOWED in this country could not happen without their help.
    How many politicians and law enforcement types are on the take?
    Without including the US in the equation it is a specious argument i.e. Fast and Furious.

      You haven’t even heard about the fleet of 100 ultra-light aircraft that make at least 20 flights per night across the border, have you? They haul drugs, arms and explosives and Janet “Big Sis” Napalitano has issued specific orders that they are NOT TO BE FIRED-ON!

    I have no idea what these new comers are talking about in reference to GBTV. I haven’t had a problem watching it since the beginning. The first couple of weeks it would get stuck and freeze but that was a long time ago.

    It could it be something wrong with your computer settings or firewalls’?

    Or you are Soros’ paid lackeys, here to talk bad about the Truth? If so is this what you always dreamed of doing when you were a child? That you would grow up to be stooges, for a moron with a Napoleon complex.

    As for the story

    If we don’t pay mind to Mexico, it will become a Lebanon or Egypt even Libya ruled by thugs maybe more like Afghanistan of old run by drug and or war Lords. Yes take the liberal route and appease them and see what happens.

    A couple of big difference between Colombia and Mexico, Colombia was smart enough to ask for American help to fight the drug lords. The other would be that in Mexico the drug lors have united with the Marxist like Lopez Obrador PRD in the 2012 presidential election This movement formally the National Democratic Front.

    I used to have problems with streaming as well but i realized it was my internet and not GBTV. Dropped DSL and went back to Cable. All is good :)

    I had trouble watching GBTV as well. I bought my wife the Roku box and it works great. I don’t know what is different but the Roku made a huge difference in streaming.

      yah i have roku and its the same, there stream files are to large to stream in a timely manner.
      Encode the audio to aac or ac3 and encode the video to h264 and you can compress the video file down, for a two hour video it should be around 6 to 7 hundred mb’s before you mux the audio and with a two hour audio file thats compressed to aac it should be around 65 mb give or take (depending on your scripts or commands ofc) and after you mux the audio with the video you have a compressed HD video file of around 800 mb. and get this if your not stupid you can change the metadata for streaming then anyone who has a decent bandwidth can watch all the way through without difficulty. if you want pointers on how to encode i can teach you gbtv for the sake of improving your product distribution im willing to work pro-bono
      and im not talking about your live feed either.

    Well I hate to agree with the cranky guy ahead of me but the streaming video is kind of sucky on GBTV..It definitely needs to be updated or something..I’m not going to give up GBTV but it sure could use an improvement. I can’t pause it without having to start it all over again from scratch, that‘s not fair because it’s kind of hard to pick right up where you left off..PLEASE make it better, PLEASE. :-)

      sorry for seaming cranky. i paid for a year and cant watch a full show in fact another failed attempt to watch what i paid for has failed miserably again just like all my other attempts as to witch spurd my rant. I will continue to pay in the hopes you guys take your heads out of your *sses and provide a download feature so that we may get what we paid for!
      i hope i will not be ignored, i beleive you guys are doing good but that dont mean there is no room for improvement. hint,hint

    ok the real news is a flop i thought it would be news but its not, its fox and friends, or the five.
    suggestion. the show might do better if the show had a few adults instead of those naive kids.
    glenn beck is great the bs of a is great, the radio program also enlightening, The Real news? Long winded and not worth the bandwidth it takes up. Try actually reporting the news fox doesnt and give fewer opinions about it. Amy, i would like to see more of you reporting and less of your colleagues rambling. oh and ico. films look it up hd streams and it works way better than what gbtv uses. you guys really dropped the ball with you crappy streaming tech. i can do a better job in my sleep when it comes to reliable streams your tech kid needs to go back to school because his product is nearly unwatchable and dont say its on my end. i know better, streaming and video encoding is my hobby. i dont even get paid and im better at it than you guys i studied and taught myself and im still better then your pro. h264 aac mp4′s stream way better just saying.
