‘Real News From The Blaze’ Discusses May Day

Unless you were under a rock all day (or at your job away from a computer working) you’re aware that the Occupy Wall Street movement carried out their much anticipated comeback rally today, with events across the country marking “May Day.” The Blaze has covered the event extensively, which is in association with “International Workers’ Day” originating in mid-1800s Australia. Occupiers had planned to carry out a general strike for the 99 percent with no work, no school, no banking and no shopping, to defend foreclosed homes, and educate one another during a celebration/protest throughout the day.

Did things go as planned for Occupy? “Real News” opened Tuesday discussing what the panel had gathered from the day’s protest thus far, and what it means for the current status of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

The Blaze’s national security editor and author of “Occupy: American Spring” Buck Sexton was on the scene and reported to the show Tuesday that among other factions, the OWS ‘black bloc.’ The ‘black bloc’ is a particularly violent and vandal-ridden faction of the movement known for purposely destroying private property and clashing with law enforcement.

“These guys say they want to bring about revolution America, they want to collapse capitalism here at home, they do not accept government authority,” said Sexton. “That’s really the underlying premise of who they are and what they believe.”

Sexton witnessed some in this group already being arrested early in the day.

When asked, Sexton would not declare “May Day” a “success” for Occupy Wall Street, but affirmed it was “what they promised.”

“They were violent, they were pretty crazy, and they were able to get all this together, so I think they are something that we unfortunately are going to have to keep dealing with.”

When asked by Will Cain if “May Day” has done anything to make the movement’s message more decipherable, Buck rebuked.

“It’s just sloganeering.”

Remember the MSM trying to manufacture mock outrage at the ‘violent Tea Party Rhetoric’? Where are they on actual OWS violence in word and action?!?

When the unions, seiu, soros, dnc, and the numerous liberal groups pay people to protest, they will not stop doing it. These people don’t generally knowf what they are doing. The thugs planted by the NBP, anarchists will keep on protesting, rioting as long as law enforcement will allow. As long as we have holder in office it will continue. I applaud Buck for getting out there and finding out what is going on. Brave! Congrats on your new book, Buck.

If they destroy the only place on earth that allows them to protest and voice decent, they will surly die by their own making. If it is God‘s will I’m trusting in him. I will pray and put my faith in him. Trust in the Lord and savior Jesus Christ for his will to be done and you will have no fear. The god these people are worshipping is the god of this world, and they will pay a heavy price for their sins. Don’t become like them. Jesus reins forever.

  Jesus does live forever, we as Christians know. When you reach the end of your rope, you well find the hem of his garment. I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn’t, then live my life as if there isn’t, and die to find out there is.** Our country is going down hill. I voted Democrate and so sorry I did. What has Obama done??? nothing. He is for GREEN which I feel is destroying this country. The EPA is destroying the rights of tax paying property owners, destroying jobs, preventing the access to oil reserves that could provide energy for this country. He could of opened the Keystone Pipeline, chose not to on the advice of Hillary Clinton. I like Rand Paul. The only way Romney well win is if he choses Rand Paul who is a Senator as his running mate. Rand is the son of Ron Paul. He is for the DEFEAT of the “UN Small Arms Treaty”, Hillary Clinton announced the Obama Administration will be working hard to get this passed Gun owners have to turn up the heat on the US Senate NOW.

Although I don’t write them completely off, they bore me with their anti establishment BS. Been done before and been done better. Get the police to send them home to mom and dad so they can get the beating they deserve.

Keep your eyes on the prize. This is all cosmetics to disguise what the real issues are. They want violence and will get it soon. We can get the congress. Work, walk, donate to get TEA into congress. Don’t confront this stuff. A good rabbit goes to ground BUT have your teeth ready. Don’t register for anything. No fingerprints or signatures. Pray often.

Don’t confuse the run of the mill occupier, with Black Bloc. Two very different animals. Black Bloc would love to see public perception and authority come down hard on Occupiers. When your looking to sow chaos, you really could care less about ideology. You will use whatever is out there as fuel for the fires of division. Add a few explosives, and some gasoline, and you have the makings of a good ole’ American Revolution, or at least a long bloody summer. I take them seriously.

  there is no “long night”
  only a lack of courage to turn on the light.
  
  We have sufficient law enforcement to hold any situation.
  we only need to courage to correct the behavior.
  
  If “blac bloc” does crimes. they should be prosecuted.
  If their leaders promote violence — that’s a crime.
  We have the laws already in place — we only need to enforce civility.
