While immigration is always a hot campaign issue, less focus is given to the continued, bloody war on our border with Mexico. On Monday, Glenn Beck slammed the Democratic machine for participating in domestic race-driven tactics while showing little concern for the no less than 49 mutilated, decapitated bodies that were recently dumped on a highway connecting the northern Mexican town of Monterrey to the U.S. border.
The U.S. and Mexico have tried an agreement, the Merida Initiative, which the State Dept describes as an unprecedented partnership with Mexico to fight organized crime and associated violence while furthering respect for human rights and the rule of law, but few positive results are evident.
On “Real News” Tuesday the panel discussed possible strategy to deal the border security problem and questioned, with frustration, why the American electorate does not appear more alarmed by the dangers south of the border.

Posted on May 27, 2012 at 11:37amWhen someone call me a right winger I take it as a compliment. Jesus Christ sits on the right hand of God the Father . I stand with Christ. A left winger let’s see in the book of Job Satan approaches the throne well he cannot come from the right because Christ is on that side so he approachs from the left. A conservative is not to wasteful or sloathful and given to modesty in speech and dress. A liberal wants to be liberted from God and his authority doing what they want even calling God and the Bible wrong and creating a new God of their own making breaking the first commandment. There is only on way to heaven christ said he is the way the truth and the light and no one comes unto the father except through him. No Christ No peace. Know Christ Know Peace.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 5:30pmDon’t worry, if Romney wins the election, this will be the lead story on ever liberal network, newspaper, etc.. They’ll howl and scream about the violence then protest and smear anything he tries to do about it. It will be the reverse of their Iraq/Afghanistan cover: from a nonstop litany of doom and bad news under Bush to near total silence under The One.

If they are not doing their jobs, they should be fired. If they are siding with those in another country against the laws of this nation, putting this country at risk, they are traitors. They should be tried for treason.

“Foreseeing future corruption in the law enforcement agencies as a result of the Volstead Act, future New York Mayor Fiorello La Guardia commented that, “it would take a police force of 250,000 to enforce the Prohibition Act and another 200,000 to police the police.”
True to La Guardia’s prediction, Prohibition spawned organized crime, bootlegging and corruption among the police on an unprecedented scale. It is fair to say that the Volstead Act indirectly gave rise to the American Mafia, along with it’s most famous figure, Al Capone. ”
http://www.essortment.com/prohibition-america-21019.html
……………………..and it ain’t working now either.
When you get right down to brass tacks, organized crime simply pays a better salary than the taxpayer can pay and no matter how hard you try to rewrite the laws of economics, then you simply won’t be able to do it.
As a result, thousands of cops in both Mexico and the U.S. have gone on the take because a lot of them have simply recognized the futility of being shot at constantly by members of organized crime (all while bringing home a meager wage paid by the taxpayer).
Like Mayor LaGuardia’s prediction above that was written nearly 90 years ago, Prohibition provides every incentive in the world to go on the take, and a risk premium is a risk premium no matter how you slice it.

—————————————————–
“Gangs began capitalizing on the smuggling trade in 1923, especially Detroit’s notorious Purple Gang. Violent crime increased as rival gangs fought for territory and profits, and the Collingwood Manor Massacre in 1931 truly shocked the city. As the extent of the smuggling problem became apparent, law enforcement agencies increased their efforts to stop the flow of alcohol. However, law-abiding citizens lost their patience with the authorities after having their property repeatedly raided and being harassed and shot at by overzealous water patrols while fishing and boating. Prohibition was intended to improve family life and reduce crime. Instead, a new and dangerous criminal class had developed.
Because of the lawlessness that Prohibition inspired, as well as the prospect of jobs that legal alcohol production could provide during the Great Depression, in 1933 Michigan reversed its own prohibition laws and, calling for the repeal of the 18th Amendment, the United States Congress sent the 21st Amendment to the states for ratification. Michigan was the first state to ratify the amendment, and Prohibition was officially repealed on December 5, 1933.”

“Did man land on the moon?”
“Did the Yankees win?”
“Did Obama win the election?”
News titles ANNOUNCE NEWS, they don’t speculate over it – that makes it an opinion. But, such should be expected from a non-news site like The Blaze

Illegal immigration is a symptom of a failed state. Do we have an illegal immigration problem with Canadians coming from Canada? This failed state is rotting the southwestern states with corruption.

U.S. taxpayers getting cut of ‘Passion’ prequel
May 12, 2012 5:55 PM
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — The American taxpayer may be getting into the movie business.
In a real-life case of drugs and extortion that could itself make a pretty good screenplay, federal prosecutors have forced a Mexican drug trafficker to turn over his stake in a planned prequel to Mel Gibson’s 2004 blockbuster “The Passion of the Christ.”
If the movie gets made, the U.S. government will receive a cut of the profits.
Some of the big names behind the Hollywood project include megachurch pastor Joel Osteen, who had no idea about the script’s unsavory backstory.
“When you get a script, you just don‘t think to say ’Hey, was this script ever tied to a Mexican cartel?’” said Donald Iloff, a spokesman for Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston. The script was already being handled by a legitimate production company when Osteen got involved.
Jorge Vazquez Sanchez pleaded guilty this week in federal court to extortion and money laundering in a deal that required him to give up a 10 percent stake in future profits of “Mary, Mother of Christ,” which is scheduled to begin production this year and includes Osteen as an executive producer.
The script was written by the same person behind “The Passion of the Christ,” which became a worldwide smash and earned more than $611 million.

May 15, 2012 9:52 PM
The Monitor [McAllen TX daily newspaper]
A firefight early Tuesday evening killed one civilian and injured at least three more near the Reynosa-Matamoros highway on the city’s south side, a Tamaulipas law enforcement official confirmed.
The firefight began about 5 p.m. in a neighborhood near the intersection of the highway and the busy Morelos Boulevard, said the official, who asked not to be named for security reasons.
The firefight apparently began between two groups of gunmen, and then the Mexican military arrived to take some into custody, the source said. It was unclear how many gunmen were injured or killed.

Posted on May 15, 2012 at 11:16pmWell lets look at the Ron Paul stance on it.
Why do we have border violence? The drug trade. Legalize the dope. Wasnt there pretty big mob violence during prohibition? Same thing. Worried about drugs being legalized? Dont do them and raise your kids correctly and within the Church they will be fine. I have never done drugs.
The illegal immigrants crossing over causing some of the problems? Well end the social welfare. Dont give them anything for free. They will do the work that no one wants to do and go home. They will not raise a family here if they dont get the benefits.
So to recap, Ron Paul’s plan fixes our problem and you have been proven to be a moron. Oh and Ron Paul has said he would bring the troops home and they would be protecting our borders instead of the borders in Afghanistan.
You think a fence stops legals and drug dealers? Wake up!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdGvIZut068 Here is a clip from Penn and Tellers show Bull5h1t that shows illegals building a fence identical to the ones built on our border, then they let them see how fast it takes to go over it, under it, and through it.

Posted on May 15, 2012 at 9:04pmGlenn Beck is right!
The fact that the owned MSM is not talking about this is a travesty of enormous consequences! It doesn’t fit their Leftist agenda of divide and conquer, and ignoring all real threats to America! It also doesn’t fit into their Leftist dhimmi agenda of appeasing and apologizing, and colluding with, the Islamist terrorist enemy who are walking across our Southern border with impunity!
Romney needs to get out there and talk about this issue every chance he gets, because, you’d better believe it, we are going to hold his feet to the fire because it’s not going to be business as usual anymore!
The days of a complacent politician who just takes the easy way out, and enriches himself in the process, is over! We‘re now paying attention because of the mess we’re in, and the days of unaccountability of all you globalist dhimmis and politicians has come to an end, who are selling us out to the highest bidder and the globalist institutions of unaccountability and tyranny are over! We the people are now going to take the reins from the whole lot of you!
You’ve all failed! And from now on it’s going to be a bumpy ride! Get used to it! Because, as I said, it’s never going to be business as usual from here in out! You’ve got caught with your hands in the cookie jar, and we’ve now got your number! And jail time is what you all deserve!
You’ve played us for fools for the very last time!

Posted on May 15, 2012 at 8:35pmIs the border violence being ‘accepted’? Nope, its being encouraged and tolerated by Obama for the purpose of causing more pressure and chaos on the US soverignty and culture; if the need arises he will use any excuse to strike out at the cartels who he probably has allied with, for the sake of politics.
Remember, we have a POTUS who will do any evil, sacrifice anyone and anything for the sake of his holding onto power and bringing the nation crashing down into a communist dictatorship. For him a war with the cartels or even Mexico if it enhances his position would all too easily happen. This man has already conducted one ‘Wag the dog’ scenario with Iran ‘trying to finish off the Saudi ambassador’ in such an absolutly stupid manner.
He is capable of anything in his cronic, growing madness.
If the worse case happens, and war does come, with Obama we will lose; as we did in Iraq under him and are losing in Afghanistan.

Posted on May 15, 2012 at 8:28pmThose of us that live in border states are very concerned. As for Democrats, they will ignore it as long as they can. They know that people like me, who live in Arizona have to pick up the initial economic tab as well as our citizens picking up the tab in the form of their lives. A lot of people who are removed from the border do not see it as their problem, not realizing that many illegals move to their states, and ILLEGALS means from any country. It’s a known fact that terrorists are using the southern borders to enter because it is lax.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 2:53pmI left my home in Az of 30 years because of the nonstop violence. Walking out of a 7-11 on Van Buren one day a low rider full of hispanics stopped and threw a body into the center lane. That was in the 70′s, my first experience with this. I saw gunfights, had guns pointed at me in traffic, was held in a Circle K by a dozen hispanics on Indian School Rd holding Mac‘s and Uzi’s while they unloaded beer coolers into a blue pickup. Not even on the news it was so common. This was one of over 50 incidents and it was not yet the 90′s. Had friends and family come home from their daily routines of work and shopping with bullet holes in their cars. This and many more incidents prompted me to leave in 91. 5 shootings on the Freeways in 91 of innocent taxpayers was the last straw. Over gang initiations no less. I made good money there but you cannot take it with you when you check out so why stay I concluded. Moved to the southern midwest, making much less money. Good trade off I thought I had not had a single night in 30 years where at least one gunshot was not heard. Obamas oil moratorium destroyed my local economy including my business here in Ar, and it is getting steadily worse to this day. Went back to Phoenix in 07 to bury my sister and was shocked at the difference. I will never go back I have had too many years of peace to ever desire that nightmare again. From family still living there I know it is worse now than in 07 and steadily the decline into hell never ends.
