‘Real News From The Blaze:’ House Votes Contempt for Holder

The U.S. House of Representatives voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in criminal and civil contempt of Congress Thursday, for refusing to produce requested documents related to the failed federal gunrunning Operation “Fast and Furious.” The vote came down largely along party lines with the exception of 17 Democrats siding with with Republicans on contempt, and 2 GOP congressman siding with the minority. Holder became the first sitting attorney general ever to be held in contempt by Congress.

CNN reports that a large number of Democrats — including members of the Congressional Black Caucus and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi — walked off the House floor in protest and refused to participate in the criminal contempt vote.

Holder released a statement after the House voted to hold him in contempt, saying Republicans have advanced “truly absurd conspiracy theories” to advance the politically motivated vote.

The “Real News” panel discussed the vote Thursday, and the real “political theater” in play surrounding this investigation:

Don’t forget Pelosi. Once she loses her job in Washington, we can send her back to Oz. Just be sure this time that she has a rain suit so she can return to our world.

Yeah the good old Let’s “throw the bums out” nonsense. I‘ve heard that so many times it’s become silly. Everytime conservatives have the chance to do that they defer. This year was no exception. Trouble is too many of you conservatives are still hooked on progressivism and the ones that aren’t are outnumbered.

He’s in it too deep now. The lies will become more frequent, more dramatic and more defensive. Unfortunately, the people that can‘t think for themselves will start to believe it was the big bad NRA’s fault. Then, they will vote like the sheeple they are.

Obama, Holder, Pelosi… they‘re all wrong and I’m not a FU%$^*$# racist for saying so!
