‘Real News From The Blaze:’ Is Nebraska Upset a Tea Party Win?

A few weeks ago not too many people outside of Nebraska knew who State Sen. Deb Fischer was. One person who did know her though was Sarah Palin, and largely thanks to Palin’s endorsement, Fischer was the talk of the town in Washington D.C. and newsrooms across the country Wednesday. The rancher and Nebraska state senator won the Republican U.S. Senate primary in the cornhusker state Tuesday, beating two other more well-known, better funded and Tea Party-backed Republicans. The Washington Post reports:

The result is a major upset; until last week, state Attorney General Jon Bruning was the overwhelming favorite in this primary. Throughout the race, he had the most money and establishment support.

Many will argue that Fischer’s victory is the latest in a line of tea party upsets. But it was state TreasurerDon Stenberg who attracted support from conservatives put off by Bruning’s college liberalism, rather than Fischer. It was only in the past week that Fischer won the support of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and former Godfather’s Pizza CEO Herman Cain.

The Club for Growth and the Senate Conservatives Fund (backed by South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint) combined to spend more than $2 million on the race against Bruning and in support of Stenberg.

The primary result has drawn varied conclusions; some question whether this is another Tea Party upset, some say the result is only the latest confirmation of Sarah Palin’s “kingmaker” ability, some wonder if Fischer benefited as the last woman standing after out-of-state funded attacks between Bruning and Stenberg made the two candidates unappealing to voters.

Andrew Roth of Club For Growth joined “Real News” Wednesday to discuss the Nebraska race, as well as a new Club For Growth “Freshman Vote Study,” which amounts to a report card for the 87 House Republicans who entered office in 2010 thanks the Tea Party movement.

“Did all 87 freshmen always vote to cut spending and limit the size of government, or did some of them vote like the big-spending R.I.N.Os of the past? ” the study asks. Unfortunately, only 3 of the 87 new House Republicans scored a 100 percent rating from Club for Growth.

Open your eyes. Sarah has something most in dc don’t . There was a story regarding Palin and prayer . She has the Lord on her side. Prayer is a powerful weapon in the heart of a believer. The word of God says whenever 2 or more are gathered in HIS name that he is in their midst. Sarah has GOD on her side . Who is on yours? God is just a prayer away . If it is his will you just might get your prayer answered . I pray the Lord will protect Israel from its enemies. I pray that America would have leaders that feared the Lord and would turn from their evil.

the tea party is alive and well in central and south Texas. Google Tea Party in San Antonio, see what you find. Then google Ted Cruz……….watch all the down ticket elections around the country, and see just how many have the local tea party movement in the background, supporting fiscal conservatives and then some one can tell the silly alphabet media the Tea Party Movement is not dead, its alive, head down, and preparing to put the media out of any sembalance of relevance.

I don’t give a damn who they are. Just REDUCE spending drastically and take a big slice out of the size of this guberment. Do these two things and we the people will decide whether we vote you back in. Get it done before we burn and turn to ashes…we all fall down.

Heck yes! Speaking of taking over, there are some wacky silly people dressed in red in this UW Health psych ward tonight, who are doing a very flabby useless pitiful attempt at taking over this ward, in the name of the devil, or mindless fun, or asininity, tonight. Snitchy Ann says, their ringleader is a redheaded guy named Kevin who claims to be the second coming of “JC.” He says he’s from Janesville. He has an inferiority complex.

Romney and his veep will win, the Tea Party wins everywhere, allelujah…

Deb is a fantastic candidate for Nebraska Republicans! Nebraska Republicans will set aside their differences to support her and defeat the carpetbagger Bob Kerrey! He was brought in at the last second by the Democrat operatives who have promised him the moon, should he win! This old hack former govenor and senator who has been living the last ten years in NYC should take his Omaha bridge to nowhere and go back to NYC! GO DEB!

This is where my last comment belongs. Love the crusade…….but beware the crusaders. Why did Palin support Newt? Newt seems to me to be the opposite of the Tea Party goals. Does McCain have any control over Palin? Is their a loyalty their? Lotus.

Considering Palin and Cain only endorsed her last week, the impact wasn’t as great as this article leads you to believe. I voted for Deb Fischer for two reasons:
    1. She is a conservative who chose to complete her term as State Senator rather than attend a debate.
    2. Bruning and Stenberg are lifetime politicians. Bruning tends to bend with the current political wind.

Bruning supported Holders appointment and initially supported Obamacare. Stenberg started campaigning for Senate within weeks of getting the State Treasurers job.
I don‘t believe Palin’s endorsement meant squat to tell the truth.

I believe the Tea Party is taking back the T.E.A. platform. Palin is the only one that even comes close (as far as former government officials, other than that Newt thing). I will only speak for myself, b/c I believe the T.E.A (taxed enough already not a “party”) is individuals with similar values and principles. I also believe this movement was hijacked. I stepped away, it smelled of Rino and people trying to exploit good people.

It‘s hard to keep track of who’s running the world, without a program. Maybe the baton is passed between the Build-a-Bear, Rothchilds, NWO, FED, Goldman Sachs and Koch Brothers.

If anybody started the Tea Party it was Rush Limbaugh when he said: ” I hope he fails.” If we can rid ourselves of the communist usurper this fall, those words will go down in history.

Neo Con is code for Neo Conservatives of which the people you support call themselves war mongering fascist basically. Nationalism means America first and American only forget about the world and put American first. Nationalism has nothing to do with race it has to do with preserving the country and its culture.

It will be very interesting to see WHO Ron and his merry, happy, band of followers back. From what I’ve seen here, they will back Barry. either thru writing in RP or voting for Gary Johnson or staying home. Either way they will be voting for FOUR MORE YEARS, instead of allying with the TEA Party people and Conservative’s and fed up others. Only by vocally ( without their usual insults) can Mitt be forced to do what needs to be done.

Mutiny is probably a Rhambo plant to discourage Conservative voter’s.
