‘Real News From The Blaze’ Panel Delivers Their Own ‘State of the Union’ Addresses

The crew of “Real News From The Blaze” each delivered a State of the Union address to rival that from any POTUS.
Below are the speeches from all four panelists — S.E. Cupp, Will Cain, Buck Sexton and Matt McCall — in which they describe the state of the union today.
For her part, Cupp focused on the president’s numerous “failed” promises — from earmark reform to promoting an open and transparent government — from abolishing lobbyists to not increasing taxes on families earning under $250 per year.
Invoking instances from the inspirational book “Moneyball,“ Will Cain delivered reminded that America is a nation of ”doers” and that by protecting people from failure, the country has done itself a disservice. ”Allow people to fail and celebrate those who risk failure,“ argues Cain and we will ”not only be successful“ but ”exceptional.”
The Blaze’s Buck Sexton delivered an address centered around foreign affairs. “As the rest of the word adjusts to a ”seismic shift not seen since the collapse of the Soviet Union,” Sexton begins, “America remains tactically supreme but strategically confused.” Observing that the nation has, in some cases, traded its security for idealism Sexton observes that “if we’re not careful, me might have neither.“ In ”these tumultuous times“ America must ensure democracy and demonstrate ”that we will protect our own freedom at any cost.”
Panelist Matt McCall’s state of union address focused on the “uncertainty” created by the economy and the country’s 13 million unemployed. He blames Obama’s lack of a longterm economic plan, overregulation, Obamacare and 99 weeks worth of unemployment benefits as just a few of the reasons for the nation’s troubles.

…It’s all about ones perspective. For me, as well, CEO’s, policemen, lawyers etc. ALL look too young to be the professionals they are. GEEZ, even my Doctor – in his 40′s – looks more and more like Doogie Howser with each visit. So, relax – get over and used to it – life happens!
Your other possible problem is that you are a liberal/progressive minded person and find it difficult to accept that many of the young adults entering the “REAL” world have NOT been brainwashed with your communist propaganda. Instead they speak with confidence and knowledge on a subject they have RESEARCHED and NOT been SPOON FED or imbibed upon from Obozocommies “cool aid” pitcher.

UnPlugged Ed
Posted on January 25, 2012 at 7:35pmGoodvsEvil…. you JUST made my point, Thank you- I am NOT TRYING to get “Anywhere”!
(Unlike Beckbots)
I speak my mind and i am my own man, I worship no mortal man.
The problem with Glenn is, he talks a good game, and yes, most of what he says, he agrees with me. (notice I didn’t say that the other way around)
But the Issue I have, is he is capitalizing BIG TIME off of all of this (Tens of millions a year).
I am a Capitalist too, but I would NEVER prey on people, by hooking them in with a little truth mixed with fear, so I can sell them my wares when they are vulnerable. He’s also making all his writer friends very VERY wealthy, at all of your expense.
How are YOU doing? got your first Million yet? or are you spending all your money on his books?
Everyone in America knows the quickest most profitable way to make money is writing a book (that’s why everyone shoots for the book deal! instant fame & money) and he is pumping them out like a mad man.
Moses didn’t carry the 10 Commandments in a Mercedes Benz, he walked down the mountain in sandals.

Posted on January 25, 2012 at 4:38amWhat we need is a guy that is not glued to party lines, that is our problem. Both parties have both good and bad ideas. We need sort of an all star that is willing to buck party lines and get things done. Like him or not only 1 guy has proven the ability to do that; Newt. He will scare the crap out of you because he is brilliant but that is what we need. Glenn wants a government that is from 1800 and it won’t work. Lets try and see how to make this thing work.
If government does not take care of seniors who is doing it, by the way they paid for this care for at least 45 -50 years of work.
Report Post »Prescription Drugs are out of control with a bottle of some drugs costing more than $1000 if that is not exploitation what is?
Medicare again if glenns government is around who is taking care of them.
Most of these people are not the lazy bums that are living off the government their whole lives. These are the people that built this nation. Why so a younger generation could get in there and tell them what they have not done.
My mother for example has worked since she was 13 and now she is 65, she wont be able to retire because her husband (My dad died when I was 17) is a farmer and younger than her if she retires he has no medical coverage.
All of this while the top 1% takes the wealth and hoards it for themselves. I am a capitalist to the core but to think that the poor, the old, the helpless have to choose what items not to buy so the wealthy can have more is non-christian. Rea

Posted on January 25, 2012 at 4:59amYour numbers are flawed. Not EVERYONE paid into the system. If you spend your entire life on welfare, you will receive social security. Now, want to take a guess on what that number may be? Not to mention all the other reasons funds are removed from this joke of an accounting scheme. The first lady to receive ss never paid a dime into the system. SS cannot be sustained with this flawed logic. Under a certain age (60?) write a check to each person the exact amount that they PAID into the system, not a dime more. Who is going to take care of them? I don’t know, who took care of them before the 60′s? Maybe we should all do a little studying in history and find out how generations before us did it. But no, we are too stupid to be able to do anything like that. The government needs to do it for us.
And Newt really? He represents all that is wrong with BOTH parties.

Posted on January 25, 2012 at 12:54pmWHy don’t you get off your ass and take care of your mother?
Report Post »SoulReaver
Posted on January 25, 2012 at 2:18pmFirst of all @jds7171 I was Taking care of my mother for the last year and a half in Indiana with my wife still in Illinois she had some health problems. The problem is that I cannot cover My step dad on my insurance. She goes to work because he does not have insurance and just to cover him will wipe out most of what they make. That should change I should be able to cover anyone I am related to as long as I am willing to pay the premium that would resolve the problem.
As far as the numbers go they are not flawed. I am not advocating welfare in any way. But social security is something that would be solvent if politicians had not kept dipping their greedy little hands into. it is something that all of us pay for, and as a business owner I pay even more than most. Because I have to pay my employees share as well.
As far as understanding capitalism I understand more than 98% of the people out there. I understand that if you go to a company and start chopping away departments, the things that they did probably still need to get done. Newt is the only candidate talking about being more efficient, which is how smart capitalists get things done. I have helped businesses become more efficient not by using a hatchet but by becoming more efficient using lean six sigma techniques.
I am not advocating handouts in any way, but this country’s future should not be built on the backs of those not in a position to help themselves.

He surely isn’t American, and to me that’s a good reason to laugh at his SOTO, and I meant O….State of the Onion ( also known as State of the Obama-world). The big joke most don’t get is that some people actually voted for him to be a president of this …well … once a upon a time ‘Great country’.
