Monday was the bloodiest day of the year in Iraq after bombings and shootings spurred by Al Qaeda left 93 dead. The news comes as conflict continues to escalate in neighboring Syria, where it is reported that the Obama administration has begun to quietly work behind the scenes to help facilitate the end of the Assad regime. Looking at what appears to be a resurgent Al Qaeda in Iraq following the American exit last December, concerns grow that Syria after President Assad could become a vacuum for Al Qaeda and Al Qaeda sympathizers. Joined by Stephen Yates, the “Real News” panel discussed the situation in Syria and whether Monday’s violent news from Iraq can provide any insight for how the U.S. should approach the conflict and region post-Assad. So will it be also with this evil generation.’

Posted on July 24, 2012 at 7:18amDon’t you just love the mental midgets in our government and media who never thought to ask “Do you think Saddam Husains ”Weapons of Mass Distruction” went to Syria? These fools in the government and media are too dumb for a pig sty. :0)

Posted on July 24, 2012 at 12:34amThe situation in Syria is going from bad to worse and has critical ramifications for the region and the entire world. If Al Qaeda can hijack this civil war and gain control of Syria it will bring a serious shift in the balance of power.
