Posted on March 13, 2012 at 11:49amI think everyone should call Rush, Hannity, Foxnews, and anyone else that can get this word out. tell everyone you know that doesnt have a job and has stopped looking and go down back and register about not having a job and you want to be reported as not having a job. in a few months the new uunemployed count should be where it should be reported at 19%% which is more like the real number. this will wake up Americans to Obamas BS. Please forward this around to everybody.

Posted on March 13, 2012 at 10:37amIf speculators cause the price of oil to go up, were the speculators on vacation when the prices were down four years ago? I think the speculators react to world and middle east situations. If they were speculating in farm commodities, they would be speculating in weather trends or crop volumes. I suspect that the reason oil production is up and we are not feeling it is because of oil exporting from the U.S.

Posted on March 13, 2012 at 8:44amThere are so many government regulations and controls in this (as well as many other) economic sectors that it is nearly impossible to make rational sense out of what you are calling market forces.
Report Post »When the economy appears to be going good then it is due to government regulations. When the economy crashes then blame the free market and the greedy capitalists. The cure for poison is more poison.

Posted on March 13, 2012 at 8:29amSpeculators do drive up the cost of oil. Not just “somewhat” but a lot. S.E. went unchallenged from the panel on this and I felt she and “Real News” were propagandizing here. STRIKE one against “Real News” but I am still a fan. Them there Yankees need somebody on that panel that knows the oil business (or the “all-business” to us Okies).

Posted on March 13, 2012 at 7:57amPLEASE! Energy policy ‘success’ “IS” not relative. There are metrics to measure the success of energy policy. The SAME ones used to measure the success of the Bush administration.
The cost of energy per BTU can be calculated (and all expended energy can be measured in BTUs). And let me tell you, the difference WILL blow you away!

Posted on March 13, 2012 at 7:16amSupposedly, Worst-President-Ever Obama wants an “all of the above” approach to energy, which includes petroleum. In reality, Obama HATES petroleum, but the Hypocrite-In-Chief is willing to set aside his ideology & pretends to be the “oil president” in the interest of his re-election.
Spurning oil, the Obama Administration has wasted hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars “investing” in alternative energy. They say that government money is necessary to develop technology, but technology is not the primary issue – economics is the primary issue. Compared to fossil fuels, alternative energies like wind & solar are “dilute” & therefore require collection. There ain’t no way of getting around the fact that collection is expensive. For example, it takes at least 1,000 wind turbines or 20 million solar panels to equal just one 1,000 MW coal or oil-fired electric generating plant – & this assumes that the wind is blowing & sun is shining.
Oh, & one question, Mr. President: Exactly how would you power Air Force One with wind or solar?

Yeah, right. I can’t believe that the Blaze feels the need to add the two words “Real News” to various web article titles. Does this mean that all of the other stories are NOT “Real News”? I would venture to guess that this is the case. Well, while were at it I really think that even the articles with the moniker “Real News” is still a BS story that many neocon azzes believe as true even though they are fictional ‘stories’.
