Posted on February 22, 2012 at 12:52amMan, those Blaze staffers are really making a complete fool of themselves thinking that social issues is going to help any of the four remaining candidates win the election, both primary and general; in fact, even Ron Paul said it himself: social issues are a losing strategy. There many, many voters, particularly the Independants, that are only concerned about the rising debt, massive government interference into our private lives, corporate welfare, and those meaningless wars in which the military/industrial complex gets their profits from. The social issues are for the states and the people to sort out.

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 7:15pmThe economy is getting better and two people on this panel said YES? I think your team needs to read a little bit more about the fact that the economy is NOT getting better. Tax receipts are down. The BLS is lying about the E3 rate, while E6 is at record levels. Further the GDP figures have been revised down all along. Where are your people getting their econ data from, the Wash DC zoo?

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 6:53pmFrankly I am surprisingly disappointed in this REAL NEWS show. It is just rehashing what the MSM is saying. As an example, I thought the RN team would explain why the social issues are coming up and who brought them up and why. Of course the Republican team is not concentrating on this, the media is. It is the purpose of the OB and MSM team to make everyone FEEL this is so in order to have their socialist policy failures not criticized. Why is the Real News team not explaining this and the history of the social issue comments? It is because this show is low IQ amateur hour. Sad.

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 3:27pmIf one of the candidates (Santorum) doesn’t get off the religious stuff, he will single-handily cost the Repubs the election. Moderate Repubs, Independents, and Libertarians with less than “biblical devotion” will not vote for him. I for one, don’t believe abortion, Jesus, etc. have a place in the political process. We’ve already lost too much time bashing Obama for his economic policies.

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 2:27pmWhen the Blaze announces ‘Real News’ it only does that on some articles. Does that mean everything else is fake news. How do you tell the difference here?

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 1:25pmI am sure the Germans who were opposed to Hitlers “social issues” also felt that we need to “fix the economy first” and so they looked the other way. All the Germans were happy as long as they were well fed and living high on the hog. They looked the other way until we came in at the end and forced them to walk through the death camps that THEY had erected and forced them to bury the bodies of the Jews THEY killed.
Let me ask you this. If the economy suddenly came to life under Obama, would you re-elect him and give him 4 more years to do even more damage?

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 11:42amWe have to fix the economy before we can worry about the social issues. The way I see it, if we don’t fix the economy, the social issues aren’t really going to matter because we will be looking at a vastly different country.

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 2:39pmStrange that the avowed atheist on that panel has more Christian values than all the others put together. This group is a cheap imitation of “The Five.” Romneites through and through.
I guess Beck doesn’t watch the show, because they rarely if ever agree with him on any issue and Beck subscribers can watch MSM if they wanted to endure the insults. By the way there is no news real or otherwise on that show.

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 5:03pmReally? It basically comes down to value. Do you value the family and morality more or do you value stuff more? Without a stable family and moral society, no economy in the world will work.
Chuck Colson says it well here:

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 11:35amMore “tounge wagging” which helps NOTHING! We need to call and E-Mail the media who host these debates and insist they ask questions on the economy. We know the only socially conservatives are ALL in the GOP so stop the chatter already! As old Bill Clinton’s campaign reminded us, ” It’s the economy, stupid”

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 6:29pmThat’s not going to happen because it would make Ron Paul look good, and the media is trying hard to ignore him out of existence.
