By media coverage, campaign funding, and long term political implications, the Wisconsin recall is impervious to former House Speaker Tip O‘Neil’s famous phrase “All politics is local.”
The nation has had its eyes transfixed Tuesday on voters in Wisconsin as the budget and public sector reforms of Governor Scott Walker face-off against a resurrected big labor. Christian Schneider of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel joined “Real News” again on election day, after breaking down the race Monday, to discuss his observations from the field.
Schneider said early evening Tuesday that exit polling so far shows the vote brought out a high number of Wisconsinites dived about 50-50 in favor of unionization, with nearly 90 percent of voters admitting to have made their decision before May. A fly in the ointment to campaign groups in Wisconsin and across the country that have poured tens of millions of dollars into advertising in the gubernatorial recall for nearly two years.
Watch a clip as the panel also questioned whether this election really remained on the issue of collective bargaining, and how the voting results today could sway Wisconsin for the campaign strategies of Mitt Romney and President Obama:

Posted on June 5, 2012 at 8:32pmWhat do we have in Wisconsin so far? A DOJ and leftists who claim that there is fraud and other illegal activities going on; this matter is far from over, expect the instant Gov Walker wins again that Holder will step in and slam down hard across the board.

Posted on June 5, 2012 at 8:40pmpeople who scream about fraud while committing massive fraud cannot be negotiated or compromised with, nor are they to be trusted in the slightest. they are making us into a third world country. america is splitting into different people’s with different ideologies that are not compatible.

Posted on June 5, 2012 at 8:52pmRight on! Doesn’t it make you feel so much better that the DOJ is in Wisconsin to “monitor” the election? Doh! This is going to get ugly, especially if Walker does win. The union thugs will totally flip out, much like Obama will when he loses. These are interesting times indeed.

Posted on June 5, 2012 at 8:39pmAccording to Drudge Report one county (Madison I believe) is reporting, from the Democratic side, 119% turnout of all registered voters; there are supposedly 400 democratic lawers ready to go in an instant when the voting is finished. So it looks like the dead and others are somehow voting and the Democrats are claiming to be the victims.
Typical.

Posted on June 5, 2012 at 9:00pmYep, my mother lives just outside Madison and she’s seen buses with adults (that have obviously been on those buses for hours) arriving last night and early this morning. Not likely Wisconsinites.

Posted on June 5, 2012 at 7:55pmWill the union pigs be able to win by massive voter fraud? We all know union thugs are lazy and don‘t work but they’ll vote three and four times each to protect their cushy jobs they can’t be fired from.
To the taxpaying capitalists of Wisconsin,do yourself and more importantly your country a good deed and keep Governor Walker in office.
