‘Real News From The Blaze’: What Will End U.S. Efforts to Stop Iranian Nuclear Proliferation?

The United States and allies have tried for years to successfully halt Iran’s quest for a nuclear bomb, but have only been able to slow proliferation rather than end the program. As frustration grows, some are asking how much more can the United States do other than military action to end Iran’s program. Others question if allowing Iran to get such a bomb is at this point a possible option for American diplomatic and military decision-makers. The “Real News” panel Wednesday analyzed where the U.S. stands now in stoping Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, and what options are on the table moving forward:

    If I am reading my Bible correctly, then it is Russia that comes against Israel, while America isolates herself against foreign conflict. Could be that Romney selects Ron Paul for VP- the only candidate with isolationist views that are readily supported ( albeit by a select few )– and this triggers Ezekiel 38′s war ?

      Good grief you are kidding right? How exactly would they get the bomb to us? First off they dont have the bomb. How do we know? Israel hasnt bombed them. Secondly, they dont have a convention missile that can leave their region, but less a nuclear missile(which takes much more missile tech). Thirdly, we have missile defense systems in place that would more than likely take care of it. All of this would be after Israel bombed them into the stone age.

      Iran is not a threat. What is a threat is China and Russia both have said they will get involved in Iran if we do. You want to talk about nuclear threat, well Russia and China are a real threat nuclear missile wise. To top that off spending money bombing a country that couldnt beat a country our military completely destroyed in 3 days should kind of be a sign. Lets not bankrupt ourselves of that craphole.

    Yes, Iran should be allowed to have a nuclear arsenal, pedophiles make excellent babysitters, and carbon dioxide is a pollutant.

    Us bankruptcy vs Iran possibly getting a nuke, a deployment system that can get through the Israeli missile defense shield, and all done before Israel hits them.

    Nothing short of WWIII will stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. Nothing stopped China, India, Pakistan, North Korea or Israel from getting them. I recall that sanctions, UN resolutions, world pressure, etc did not stop these countries from getting them. I also remember the cries that the world was going to come to an end every time one of these countries acquired and tested their weapons.

    The last I looked I am still here and so is the world. I also recall the one and only time a nuclear weapon was used against another country was by the USA. Even the crazy dictator of N Korea knows better than to lob a nuclear warhead across the ocean or the border. Even if the 12th Imams in Iran do not have their self preservation in mind, the vast majority of the Iranian people do.

    The war mongers are just looking for an excuse to start WWIII. If the sheeple think Iran will be stopped short of WWIII they/you are delusional.

    they have the right to defend themselves, let them get it or if you want to stop them, don’t buy their oil and sell our resources to the world for cheaper and we got plenty of them. plenty of oil and nature gas.

      They certainly do have the right to defend themselves and having a few hundred large hydrogen bombs would allow them to do exactly that!
      That way those evil Jews wouldn’t dare to mess with them. Neither would those evil Americans, or the (ha, ha) evil French, or the (joke) evil British! They would be able to stand alone and triumphant knowing that they could unleash a nuclear hell on the rest of the world.
      But of course, being rational Jihad’s, they wouldn’t do that. At least not more than once.
