‘Real News From The Blaze:’ Where Will Romney Country Be on the 2012 Map?

Real News From The Blaze: Romney On the 2012 Electoral Map

Today’s Gallup daily tracking poll has Mitt Romney ahead of Barack Obama by 1 point. Whenever campaign advantages and disadvantages or polls have been discussed on “Real News” up to this point, it has been through the prism of the popular vote. On Tuesday’s show Will Cain took the conversation the electoral college map. When looking at the race through that prism, Mitt Romney has consistently been at a disadvantage. The Wall Street Journal’s Gerald Seib proposed in an article Monday night that if Romney can flip one of only 4 states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania or Michigan – he could very easily have the election in the bag. Watch from Tuesday’s show Cain break down the map, and S.E. Cupp speculate where Romney may be surprisingly strong:

    Hey Soybomb315: Anybody, but Obama. I don’t want my children growing up in Communist America, which is what Obama’s second term will be, for sure.

    If Romney can get only four swing states, florida, NC,ohio, and penn he wins. other than penn i don’t see this scenario as that improbable. a more likely route to victory as I see it is Romney winning only 5 states- flo,nc,ohio,virginia, and iowa…again far from impossible in my opinion

    I have a dream…
    of an honest election where all citizens are free to vote for the candidate of their choice;
    where all votes are legitimate and accurately counted;
    where the true winner will unite, not divide, this great nation as one;
    united under the banner of liberty, justice, freedom and truth — the American Way
    And, by the grace of God, we will restore the shining beacon of Liberty for which so many have died.

    Paul voters need to realize he’s not going to get off the ground. Supporting anyone but Romney will get Obombo elected which means the end of the United States and the Constitution. C’mon people…get real and back Romney. America’s last chance. Paul is nothing more than a 2012 version of Ross Perot that will Divide votes and destroy the country.

    If you are so sold on Ron Paul, will you follow him into the Romney camp if he endorses him? If not, then your sincerity as a Paulbot has to be questioned. Rand supported his dad until he realized that dad wasn’t going to win. You don‘t think that Rand did not seek dad’s blessing to endorse Romney?

    Get real! The Ron Paul endorsement is forthcoming because Ron knows that allowing another Obama term will destroy the country and the constitution. Romney does believe in the constitution and the rule of law. Ron Paul will get closer to his desired goals through a Romney presidency.

    Come on, close the ranks!

    Everyone prepare themselves for the dirtiest, most corrupt, and heated Presidential Election possibly since the birth of our nation The United States of America. I’m not a fan of Romney, but unfortunately he is the best choice that we have right now. To Ron Paul Supporters: Voting for Ron Paul or simply not voting at all will only help Obama – your failure to support for Romney will only hurt your cause. We already know what we get with Obama because we have watched his administration intentionally destroy and suffocate our country from within. I still do not feel that The Right has woken up but this election will determine how much freedom we retain or lose. Personally I think Obama is going to win because The Right has a hard time even uniting together on a few issues. Prove me wrong this November, guys…

      @v15
      I agree completely with your first couple sentances – it is going to be nasty. As a Paul supporter, there is only one way I could vote for Romney – if he does a 180 and embraces the constitution, applies it to his solutions, and takes a more humble foreign policy (obviously a complete change of heart, not mind). Otherwise, Romney is just another politician.

      I dont know why the detractors claim it to be “ron paul or nothing”. It is only June, Romney has not officially won the nomination. After he does (and he will), most of the Paul people will go to Gary Johnson. I fully expect Ron Paul to endorse Johnson. At that point, you will have to figure out how Romney is better than Johnson – cuz when you compare their records, Johnson blows Romney away

      Supporters of Ron Paul are filing a lawsuit?!? Yeah, I watched the video and all of you followers of Ron Paul are completely unhinged from reality. Your candidate is 76 years old. A vote for Paul is a vote for Obama, just sayin’..

      I have absolutely nothing to do with the lawsuit. Just the messenger here I’m on the sidelines on this. Fact is, the RNC is going to need to use their war chest to stay out of the pokey if Judge Napalatano’s interpretation of the law is correct. Which, I trust it is. Romney could have gone after our vote, (he’s pandered to everyone else) but went to the Bilderbergs instead. Which, again is against the law. It didn’t even matter what the delegates did. RP‘s even said he didn’t have the delegates. They chose to shut down their voices anyway, and have to deal with the consequences of their actions like every other criminal organization caught breaking the law. Question is, do you think the DNC is not going to use this for their campaign?
