Hmm. I took it as it‘s halftime and we’re behind 23 to 6 and we’ve been in this position before and have won, and we need to come back again, or we are whipped.

I’m really disappointed in Clint. How could you not know this looked like a plug for Obama and his policies?

This is Chrysler’s second bail out. But this time they don’t have a genius like Lee to make it work.

Fiat: Fix It Again Tony. How well we remember. When Chrysler goes the next time, they will probably finish them off too…

So, a campaign ad payed for with money Chrysler owes us?

The justification of the auto bailouts was that the failure of any of the Big Three could cause the failure of American companies which form the supply chain for car makers. If factual, car manufacturers, parts suppliers, and dealerships employed about 1.6 million people. The entire auto-related industry and after-market service sector employed about 3.1 million.
The government decided it was cheaper for Chrysler and GM to survive. Eastwood’s ad could be construed as an Obama campaign sound track, or an encouragement to the millions of ordinary Joes who are first on the firing line.

I thought it was a plug for Obama. Turned me off. Hollyweirdos are an elite bunch in his pocket for goodies from the WH.
Whatever the real intent, it WAS meant to create different interpretations.

I think Cupp was dead wrong.
I watched the Superbowl . I saw the commercial BEFORE all the lunatic media bologna.

IT was “powerful” because it was done by Clint Eastwood. He could recite nursery rhymes and I would think ,”Wow…,POWERFUL”!.

The idea that it was a plug for President Dunham must have come from the White house spin room.

    Eastwood was sincere.Big deal.
“The Motor City” is STILL in dire straits. Even Dirty Harry cannot help them.
.An allegory for our country? Rut Roh!

    I aqree with S.E. Cupp ( who I love )

Nothing to say that any profits of this “American” made car are going to Fiat who was given the Chrysler for free, while the Government still holds 2/3 of the debt. This is a Lose, Lose in my book. But at least they did not get the GM treatment, where the Union now owns GM…

This was wit out a doubt the greatest theft in modern history, where billions were just taken from investors and given to Union thugs with political connections.

Truth is that Clint is a Hollywood creation and by that fact he will support the Left no matter what. Forget the ancient “dirty Harry” and look what we find; in his recent films Clint has preached against the death penalty but for euthanasia. No one is Hollywood can escape brainwashing; it is the price they pay for all that money and fame. Dont forget all those Hollywood stars making a propoganda film for Obama after he was elected where they proudly recited their pledge of allegiance to his regime.

You don’t know Clint. He is a self-made man who Hollywood shunned. He went to Italy, made his own movies, and made it big. He’s bucked the Hollywood establishment time and time again. He speaks his mind and does what he wants to do, beholden only to himself. He has also said that he is not impressed with Obama and he voted for McCain. He is a Libertarian and ran for mayor just because the previous mayor made it illegal to sell ice cream on the streets. You will find no stronger supporter of individual liberties than Eastwood.

A very well crafted piece of propaganda, probably as good as you will hear and quite effective. Only a few could see through it. Gosh that doesn’t speak well of us does it. Old Clint got snookered I think, as I have never seen much liberal from him. He should be quite the star this fall in Obama’s political ads. Libs have quite the think tank crafting these things you know.

Pull your heads out of your butts. Whether Clint Eastwood has become a flaming undereducated liberal like Robert Redford or if he is a died-in-the-wool conservative is irrelevant.

We have reached our half time and the nation is coming back. There is no elected officials that has contributed too that comeback, not Obama, not Republicans, not sleaze-factor one Romney. None of them have created this situation for a comeback. The ad didn’t suggest any of them were responsible.

The ad said we cane have confidence. AND WE CAN!

First, the timing for a “comeback” is appropriate. The markets have adjusted and both jobs and products are being created again. That is just simply the facts. Again, no politician in major political party is responsible for that, just the opposite.

Our current crop of self-indulgent and self-worshiping elected officials have done all they can to prevent a comeback. They have demonstrated they prefer to be applauded over being either right or moral. Yet, the nation has chosen to be the phoenix in spite of a lack of political leadership. Because that is who the American people are.

“The markets have adjusted” – - – uh- – Mule muffins, pal. Nothing more than a “nudge”. . Biggest question! Who benefits by a positive market (now) and who will benefit by a “shock” this fall?

Obama’s approval ratings are going up because of the fraudulent recovery the MSM is promoting. Romney (our most ‘electable’ candidate) trails Obama by almost 10 points. The deck has been stacked, I’m afraid. It’s halftime alright, we’re down 47 to 3 and our quarterback stinks. Shine up Obama’s Superbowl ring.

GONZO….the MSM will pull out all the stops..no doubt but they’re not going to fool the American people this time. When your neighbour, your husband, your brother, your father are out of work, when your home is losing value, when prices rise at the grocery store it’s very difficult to convince someone that happy days are here again, regardless of what Katie Couric (and facscimile thereof) is telling you.
