‘Real News’ Panel: It’s the Economy, Stupid

At a fundraiser in Philadelphia last night, the president told donors that most voters “aren’t following the day to day…ins and outs of this campaign.”

The “Real News From The Blaze” staff and panel have the goal of solving this problem, once again contributing to more well-informed audience by focusing the opening segment of the show Wednesday on the president’s economic plan.

The latest ABC News/Washington Post poll shows that 54 percent of voters view the president’s economic policy negatively, becoming a more discouraging number if you narrow the survey field to registered independents. A silver lining for the Obama team can be found in that independent voters are not so hot on Romney’s plan either, with 47 percent viewing it unfavorably. However for Romney, a larger percentage polled are undecided on his economic stance, giving potential for a swing back in the challenger’s favor should he become more attractive as the economy continues to limp.

On Thursday, President Obama is set to give his big 2012 “framing speech” in Cleveland, focusing on the economy and his plan which he claims is on the side of the middle class as oppose to his challenger. On ‘Real News’ Wednesday the panel discussed the economic philosophy of each candidate, and what economic policies we can expect from whoever is in the White House for the next four years.

I prefer the metaphor that the government is a parasite on the economy – a parasite that inhibits certain kinds of movement. The ‘big government’ types think that the inhibition ‘helps’ or ‘guides’ the economy while the ‘small government’ types want to let the economy move on its own.

The Government is suppose to be… by and for the People… which implies that the People cannot be the Parasite. Rather, a Libertarian Government, as invisioned by the Founders… is totally different from… a Socialist Government, which is Parasitic, and willing to kill the Host!

I understand what you are saying, but all governments exists in a parasitical role. The issue is how much of the resources of their citizenry does it consume and what is its relationship with the citizens. Yes, our constitution indicates that we have given this parasite certain duties (and reserved the rest for ourselves). However, I think you would agree that the parasite has grown and does more to control us than it was supposed to.

    It’s THE CONSTITUTION… STUPID!

If Government had not got involved in Housing… in more Social Programs… in an EPA & Education System… in Debt & Deficit; in Borrowing… in NAFTA-like Treaties that killed the Middle Class… in Support of World Markets & a New World Order… in a Federal Reserve that Finances Europe… in a UN, IMF, and World Bank that Finances the World… rather followed the Constitution… we would be in Great Shape.

The PROGRESSIVES advanced past the Constitution… and implemented Failure!

Love your show, watch it every day. I might be one of the STUPID voters, but I do know economics. Your RINO lawyer has proven many time he doesn’t have a clue. Go back and read some more of (your favorite) New York Times reports.

Like Doc Holiday said to ringo, “Your no daisy”. Go to GBTV and hear the arrogance of this little boy telling you that you as a voter are stupid and you do not understand!

This little boy actually thinks that voters are stupid. As if to say Whites are all racist, blacks are all criminals, arabs are all terrorists, women are all bubble headed bleach blondes. He is just a boy who condescends. Watch it on GBTV and hear it from his own mouth. Ironically, the blaze failed to allow that part of his childish perspective. I know how to operate a mixing board. I doubt he does! Are you a stupid voter?

The problem with capitalism is that it isn’t designed to support itself plus government services and social services. It just isn’t possible to keep taking more and more money out of the private sector economy and redistribute into to the public sector economy. This is like trying to support two or more families on just one income. Everyone has less and less until finally everyone has almost nothing. In essence we are trying to support government services, social programs, capital markets and capitalism without any method for the government to fund itself. Redistribution doesn‘t work because capitalism isn’t designed to grow with continuous quarterly government withdrawals to pay back loans that make no sense in the first place.

In our economy capitalism does just fine without the government but the government cannot even exist without capitalism.

It makes no sense for the government to borrow its own money. We’re paying the Federal Reserve to loan newly created money at low or no interest rates to other member banks and financial institutions and than we borrow our own money back and pay the guys more than we charged them to borrow our own money back.

I would propose that the government earn its own living by charging the Federal Reserve 25% for the opportunity to create and loan legal tender. Businesses and citizens should not pay taxes to the Federal Reserve.

Neither the Economy nor Capitalism… are mentioned in the Constitution… because, while the Government could Tax & Spend, it was not suppose to be involved in the People’s Method of Wages & Earnings. The Founders never expected the people of a Christian, Individual Charity & Family, Society… to take on Socialist Policies violating the Established Morality!
