‘Real News’ War Room: Welfare Reform Revisited

It was revealed late last week through a Health and Human Services memo that the Obama administration is planning to quietly reform, and as Republicans allege unilaterally gut, the 1996 Welfare Reform Bill. Under the new reforms, states would be allowed to request waivers for the work requirements for welfare recipients that were at the foundation of the 1996 bill.
“This is a brazen and unwarranted unraveling of welfare reform,” Michigan Republican and Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee Rep. David Camp told the Washington Times. “This ends welfare reform as we know it.”
The Times notes that the new policy would allow states to launch their own welfare reform projects,during which they would not have to require that recipients work.
The Obama administration does not have the ability to waive the work requirement by themselves, but can waive another section of the act that includes language requiring states to enforce the work requirement. On “Real News” Tuesday the panel discussed the possible reform to welfare policy and the administration’s legal authority to waive the work requirement. Watch a clip below:

Posted on July 18, 2012 at 6:21amIt defies logic for mankind to ‘create’ a system of ‘trade’ based on ‘credit,’ whereby the illusion of prosperity is just that: An illusion. Some say since the end of WWII, the ‘founding’ of the UN which replaced the ‘failed’ League of Nations, which includes ‘ownership’ of all international ‘commerce’ (with the exception of holdouts IRAN and NORTH KOREA) — spreading TRILLIONS of dollars on ‘promise to repay — with interest’ globally in the last nearly 70 years is doomed to fail – as HISTORY has shown this to be TRUE many times over. The PLANET’s combined resources are worth far less (in REAL monetary terms) — which means….. any tangible ‘commodity’ other than food and water is nothing but a ‘roulette wheel,’ by and large — and THIS worldwide roulette wheel has a ‘green’ Zero, and another ‘green’ double-Zero. The Ancients knew that the SUN and procession of the equinoxes were the sole source of all ‘energy’ which directly affect the planet we inhabit – - lay terms for universal ‘truths.’ – Myths and legends aside – it remains true. politicians, bureaucrats and pundits of all stripes would have us believe otherwise. — Where does it come from? There are two Abrahamic ‘religions’ that ‘have all the answers…’ ;-)
