‘Real News’ War Room: What Do Romney Aides Say About the Candidate?

Romney’s campaign spokeswoman Andrea Saul has ticked off some conservatives after apparently stepping off message during an interview with Fox News, where while responding to the Obama SuperPac Ad accusing Mitt Romney of the death of a steelworker’s wife, Saul said the woman would have had health insurance if she lived in Massachusetts under Romneycare. While a great deal of analysis has centered on Saul, the quiet appointment of Bob Zoellick as the head of national security planning to the Romney transition team has drawn less attention than perhaps appropriate.

Foreign Policy notes that Zoellick, a former Bush Administration official, seems to some to be a little too pro-China, while not supportive enough to Israel.

On “Real News” Thursday the panel analyzed what we can learn from Romney by examining the advisors he has placed around him. Looking at the background of Zoellick and recent actions by Saul, is there a reason for conservatives to be worried? Watch a clip from the show below:

I have seen alot of attacks on Fox Nation allowing Progressives to comment and attack Conservatives, and also trying to send files to their computers..The websites are not monitored to stop this from happening… The ultimate result will be that you have liars and riff raff Occupying your website…shutting out honesty and truth…I hope you are happy with the results.

Mitt Romney is a man that has made his fortune on the broken backs of hard working American employees who’s companies were bought up and spit out for pure profit taking away 20, 30 and 40 years of service who‘s life’s are shattered while their once guaranteed pensions are now sitting tax free in the Caymens and in Swiss accounts.

Here is a man who takes his profits and donated them back to his Church / Racket business who is the only church by the way that can self appoint their members from serving in Vietnam or any war because they can self appoint themselves Priests abusing our Freedom of Religions laws that my family fought and died for since the Revolutionary War. My family back then were Puritans but 3 generations of them were at Bunker Hill that day at the sight of Warren when he fell. They didn’t hide behind their religion to avoid making this country. Romney is a Coward.

This Man is a Liar and a Tax cheat and above all a self serving despicable ugly human and an embarrassment to be considered an American. Just a disgusting waste of human greed.

Romney’s company BAIN and the companies in his line of work are not job creators, they are wealth creators concerned only with squeezing the **** out of a Buffalo Nickel for profit and killing and destroying American families in their wake.

So biased it had to be stated twiased?

By the way, who’s is not the same as whose. And life’s is not the same as lives. And a church is not a racket business. And I am pretty sure all churches appoint their own members when choosing leaders. And sight is not the same as site. And buffalo nickels are no longer in circulation (though I‘m pretty sure you couldn’t squeeze asterisks out of them even when they were).

So, I guess you’re gonna be voting Romney?

I hope everything works out, but I’m not holding my breath. I keep hammering away at the liberty movement‘s message in hopes we can get it right 2016 provided we’re still around, but I even doubt the social progressives and consitutionalists will be able to bridge the gap and we’ll end up with the same liberal / progressive R in 2016 because conservatives were split.

Blazers know all too well that, in the past, Leftists called themselves “Progressives” until their failed policies forced them to rebrand as “Liberals”. Once again, Leftist’s failed policies called for a re-rebrand. Being of extremely limited ideas, they settled on……….. “Progressive”. Now that their failed policies have, yet again, demanded a re-re-rebrand, the absolute “smartest” among them have actually come up with a new tack. It is what we have come to identify as PaulBotism.

Agreed – If this is the best the Republicans can do – the male candidate in the pink frilly apron cooking bison burgers – the party needs to merge with the Dems and let the real Americans form up a party that stands for something–the Constitution and liberty. America cannot afford 20 more years of Obama Supreme Court appointees, but if GOP candidate can’t decide if he is for the liberal program in question or against it, the GOPs days are numbered.

JUST wrote… “I’m fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I know I’m not a progressive.”

Nothing more than a thrifty-Liberal. But it goes well beyond that simple description.

The links between the modern day Libertarian (those who support Ron Paul) and Socialism is uncanny. Just like Lenin and Stalin, today’s Ron Paul Libertarians advocate near anarchy like conditions between populace and government (”kill the government, save the worker”).

True Conservatives understand this Libertarian link to Socialist-like ideals and should shun this supposed “liberty movement” and it’s supporters like the plague.

Ron Paul Libertarians use, distort and abuse the Constitution to suit their agendas and their flights of fancy and fantasy. All you have to do is read Ron Paul’s “The Revolution” where he tries to marry the Constitution to “isolationism” (ooops, “non-interventionism) through Washington’s Farewell Address and his obvious compassion for Jihadists. Ron Paul and his supporters live in an alternate universe… they are… and will continue to be… a danger to this nation well after Ron Paul leaves this planet.

Well Time2, I’m an originalist like Justices Scalia and Thomas. I don‘t think sharing the view on constitutionalism with the two most ’conservative’ justices on the court is consistent with any of the stuff you wrote. (Scalia has abandoned this theory at times Gore v. Bush, his latest on gun control) But as I’m finding out, I’m really more a libertarian leaning constitutionalist rather than a true Libertarian. I think it’s laughable that I would be considered “dangerous” in any way. I’m not the man I used to be, and I highly doubt my words on the Blaze comment section are influencing anyone in the least. I can’t even get people here to stop swooning over the 2010 Tea Party folks that abandoned their principles the minute the arrived in Washington.
