Red State Editor-in-Chief Claims Family Was Subject to Possible Kimberlin-Related Attack Sunday

CNN Political Contributor and Red State Editor in Chief Erick Erickson Claims Police Arrived at His House in Possible Kimberlin Related Attack

On May 25, bloggers and commentators of every size got together to report on Brett Kimberlin, the Soros-funded Indiana Speedway Bomber and alleged child molester, convicted perjurer, and forger, whose new job is seemingly to terrorize bloggers into silence.

The Blaze reported:

The victims — Patrick Frey who blogs under the moniker, “Patterico,” and Aaron Walker, whose blog is titled, “Allergic to Bull,” along with several others –  have been subject to death threats (veiled and not veiled), blackmail, extortion, numerous frivolous lawsuits, cyber-attacks of email and social networking accounts, and become the target of smear campaigns that have ultimately led to at least one couple losing their jobs.

In Frey’s instance, a SWAT team even descended on his house after a disingenuous call was placed to law enforcement making it sound as though Frey had confessed to murdering his wife. While the real caller has yet to be identified, Frey, who serves as the deputy district attorney for Los Angeles County, strongly suspects it was placed by Kimberlin-proxy Ron Brynaert.

Both men fear for the safety of themselves and their families and with just cause, considering some who have crossed Kimberlin before have turned up dead. It is also important to note that both men are respected attorneys and members of their community — hardly the type who would sensationalize a story to stir up controversy.

And now, following widespread attention on “Brett Kimberlin Day,” it is possible that the domestic terrorist, his confederates, or even a copy-cat are again taking action.

Erick Erickson, CNN political contributor and editor-in-chief of Red State, was one of many to openly participate in Brett Kimberlin Day.

In a move that fits the pattern of previous suspected attacks by Brett Kimberlin, Erickson is claiming that the police arrived at his house on Sunday following a call that someone had been shot at his address.

“Sheriff is at my house.  Someone spoofed my phone number and said someone had been shot at my house,” Erickson wrote on Twitter.

He continued: “We’re ok.  After I started writing about #BrettKimberlin I informed the local sheriff’s office to expect this to happen,” and, “More importantly, I have an unlisted phone number someone was able to [track] down.”

“All I can tell you is the sheriff’s deputy said someone called from my number and address claiming someone had been shot,” he responded to those requesting more information.

Erickson explained in an article on Red State:

Tonight, my family was sitting around the kitchen table eating dinner when sheriffs deputies pulled up in the driveway.

Someone called 911 from my address claiming there had been an accidental shooting.

It wasn’t nearly the trauma that Patterico suffered, but I guess the Erickson household is on somebody’s radar.

Luckily it was two sheriffs deputies who knew me and I had already, last week, advised the Sheriff’s Department to be on the look out for something like this.

      I‘m 6’3″! I don‘t care if he’s 5‘ or 7’ tall he needs to be behind bars with no internet access at least or total isolation at best. The man is a sociopath along the lines of a Hitler, Moa, Stalin or domestically a McVeigh or Bill Ayers. In any event, he needs to be stopped.

      I can‘t believe there’s not one judge out there with enough common sense and backbone to stop a person who makes a mockery out of our judicial system.

    They should be able to actually trace the spoofed call. The last link has to be pstn (old fashioned land line interface) there will a limited number of companies will provide that service. From there it’s IP routing and almost all providers will have records in their routers. it’s matter of contacting the various companies and getting the links. Static or Dynamic, the ISPs and backbones can track them down. If they are informed by officials what happened they have to provide it (Patriot Act) or they are in very big trouble.

      if you use your “burn phone” all the time then its not really a “burn phone”. the idea is that it cant be traced back to you. if you use it all the time then the number will be popping up in a bunch of places, all with one thing in common. you. it would just be a matter of time before the cops piece it all together. never use your “burn phone” more than a few times, hence the “burn” part, and never use it as a regular phone for friends or family.

      True. but I would analyze the call to get a voice print. Other leads could turn up a suspect. Then when you have them & compare voice prints, you threaten him with throwing away the key & let him roll on his compadres.

    Couldn’t someone set him up? Post about terrorist Kimberlin and then wait for the police to show up – but let the police in on it so that they have the ability to trace the call? How can the system not be smarter than this guy? This is nuts? Kimberlin in the Spawn of Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn and George Soros. Soros should be mentioned in every article on Kimberlin.

      I think if there was an investigation it would turn out that no one spofed this guys phone number. The editor made the call himself. He planned to do so a week ago. His friends responded.

      Is the Red State editor getting away with filing a false police report in making the call himself? Theblaze article facts make that appear to be the case.
