Rep. Allen West Says Obama ‘Needs To Admit That His Economic Policies Have Failed This Country’

Rep. Allen West does not mince words. Mr. West considers the economic policies of the Obama administration to be disastrous, calling our current fiscal state, “a catastrophic situation.”

Yesterday the Congressman from Florida spoke quite candidly when talking about President Obama’s leadership style and his lack of willingness to cut spending federal spending:

“The President needs to admit that his economic policies, his tax policies have failed this country.”

    One way or another the Democrat Party will go down. If they win in 2012 their Policies will run this country into the Ground. All welfare will end, all Healthcare will end, all businesses will shut down, all housing will be confiscated and Freddie Mac, Frannie Mae will own worthless property that they will not be able to sell. Hence the End of the Democrat Party and America.
    Republican RINO’s win, See Above, the Same Outcome but slower. End of Democrats and RINO’s.
    TEA PARTY CANDIDATES win. AMERICA gets back on it’s feet and becomes the Great Nation it Is and Always was. THE CONSTITUTION and BILL of RIGHTS are the Key That opens the DOOR TO PROSPERITY and a Strong Nation.

      So true…..democrats power is solely derived from using other people money to purchase votes. Once that money is gone and we are forced to embrace austerity measures the democrats are through. They have so habitually lied and demogogued the serious issues they are incapable of the truth.

      Sounds like you know what you’re talking about, Rienheart, and I totally agree with you! If the Dems or the Rinos win the next election, America will be finished.I just can’t understand why so few other people seem realize this. And when it happens, who will the left-wing Commies turn to? George Soros?

      Everyone will be waiting in bread lines, living in run-down buildings with no heat or electricity, and women & children will be prostituting themselves in the street, just trying to survive one more day. Old George will be kicking back in his nice warm mansion, enjoying his role of “King of the World” and laughing as we all die a cold, miserable death!

      It happened in Russia, Cuba, and all of the other countries that tried Communism, but the Democrats, Liberals and Progressives (Communists, all of them) seem to think it will work here in America.

      Sooo true,have any of you wondered about the “stimulus ” money; what besides Obama’s campaign fund was it used to stimulate? I know it stimulated me, to do everything I could to keep this president from living in the white house any longer.Bring back the days when traitors were hung; maybe the only way to “drain the swamp” that our GOVERNMENT has become!!!

      To be honest, I have very little confidence in my fellow Americans to make the right choice. I think we are screwed unless Romney (who is most likely the Repub nominee) chooses a VP like a Rubio, Bachman or Cain. Then maybe we have a shot and turning things around. Unless of course the sponges, unions, illegal aliens and liberal nut jobs relect Obama.

      I beg to differ with your assesement of what happenends if the dems win in 2012. If anyone thinks Obama thought he had a mandate on his socialist government beliefs when he was elected in 2008 just watch if he is reelected. Noone will be able to recognize this country by the time he and his socialist/progressive friends get through with “governing”. The Constitution would be ignorned to the point of non existence except where it would benift a socialist mindset. He would then form his civil army as he has proposed to offset any and all rebellions against his “Kingdomship”. These things would only be the start of socialising this country. Businesses would fail or move to other countries. Schools would all be Government schools. ( He already started this direction with the VA not allowing private schools to participate in some veterans programs.) Freedom of speech and all the things we hold dear would slowly evaporate. Sharia law would rise it’s ugly head without a doubt just like it has in England and other countries. We as a nation of freedom will suffer greatly! JMO

      RIENHEART – Agree with the first part but not the last part about Tea Party ppl coming in unfortunantly — agree with LIBERALSAREALIENS about the scenario if Obama gets reelected, etc. This is what Glenn has been warning us all about and explaining that so many don’t seem to get. It will get to where we won’t have any more elections!!!       I think they were probably real. Who would have those size bearer bonds to make forgeries? Besides even Obummers people can’t make fool-proof forgeries.

      Thats good thinking outside of the box. I enjoyed reading your comments. I have thought many times that we will have to begin all over, from the bottom back up. It is just to much of a mess. Incompetence in every aspect, riddled with corruption, drunk on power. None of them can do their jobs. Either party. It has just gone to far. There is no turning back and it’s roller coaster the rest of the way. Perhaps when the system is re-set and we begin over, the American people will make sure nothing like this ever happens again. Term Limits are a good start also. They need to learn they are elected to Serve their Country, Not themselves. No “deals” anymore. I hope and pray that the people will take, keep and hold the power this time and remain heavily involved. There won’t be much left and few survivors but this country will make it. I hope I’m around to see it once again become a Great Nation. the Greatest on Earth.

      Let’s take this one step further: Should we trust ANY professional politician running for president? It’s easy to CLAIM you are “Tea Party,” but how will they really act once they integrate into the Washington way of doing things?

      I believe the next logical step is to elect a Citizen Candidate for President. Someone beholden only to the citizens of America and not tainted by the business-as-usual DC shenanigans. Someone driven to challenge the current, dysfunctional Washington paradigm and replace it with a responsive, efficient, small government and strictly CONSTITUTIONAL paradigm.

      I do not want my kids and grandkids to grow up in an America shaped by Scary Barry. The very thought of that sends chills down my spine. I will forego EVERYTHING I planned for my later years to make sure this doesn’t happen. I am so driven by this that I’ve decided to put my conviction where my mouth is.

      I agree with your basic philosophy here fellow patriot but lets not forget one other entity which we must begin to change . THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA. Unless we can figure out a way to get a straight, unbiased message out to the electorate, I believe we could still be in trouble. Much of the masses are so dense that the msm could direct them off a cliff by telling them its a carnival ride.       I’m the last person to make controversial statements, but I think some of you aren’t on the right track on this topic. I’m old enough to remember the Bush presidency and his economic policies, which most of you are not. Bush did a couple of things. He started two unfunded wars and a socialist unfunded Medicare program for prescriptions. The national debt skyrocketed (the debt limit was raised seven times under Bush). He pushed legislation to deregulate the financial industry. AND he cut taxes for the “job creators.” Twice.

      Did the economy grow? No. Increase in GDP under Bush was worse than almost any administration in the last century. Were jobs created? No, job growth under Bush was less than population growth after the tax cuts. I guess the “job creators” didn’t get the memo that they should hire people even though they already have the people to meet the demand for their products. The Republican fantasy is that companies hire more people when they make more money, rather than the obvious fact that companies hire more people when there is more demand. No, they give that money to stockholders or give themselves bonuses.

      Of course, as a result of Bush’s policies the economy utterly collapsed with one year remaining in his second term. The worst economic disaster since the Great Depression.

      And you want to double down on Bush’s economic policies? Try it again to see if it works this time?

    In the eyes of the far left Obama has been a huge success. For those that subscribe to the Cloward and Piven approach to change the Obama’s administration has brought us closer than ever before to the breaking point that they have longed for. Soros, Michelle Obama,Piven, Van Jones, Sunstein and Big Labor finally have an America they can be proud of.       Allen West should be our next President. People are waiting for someone who they can trust & believe in; who will be a strong leader that can turn our country around. I & thousands of others from across the country believe he is the right man to lead our country@ this perilous time in our nation’s history. He is a man of strength, courage, honor, integrity and truly loves his country.
      Mr. West is a true American hero and patriot who has over 20 yrs. military experience. He led 600 men and women in Iraq and made some tough decisions where he risked his career to save his soldiers. He also risked his life to save one soldier by giving him his own body armor. That soldier several days later was attacked and struck in the chest. The armor LTC West had given him saved his life. Allen West has a saying, “I would go through Hell with a gasoline can to protect my men”. I believe that he would serve & protect all Americans in the same way.
      This man does not have an agenda & is in no way a typical politician. He is humble, selfless and only wants to serve his country. He has already proven his leadership as a freshman congressman & though his experience in politics is short, his leadership and courage under fire are immeasurable experiences this country sorely needs. He is the man you can count on to make difficult decisions when the phone rings at 3 am.

      You should see and hear him (West) in action on a very recent video. He was attending a Congressional Black Caucus meeting. The subject was the high unemployment rate among young Black Males. He was amazing. Nobody was really comfortable with having him there because eegads he’s a Conservative, but as his little speech went on you could see the smiles on ths faces of the woman in attendance, and the stunned silent look from Jesse Jackson.
      I’m a white man and I was welling up with pride listening to him talk about the problem from an honest perspective. Don’t have the link handy, but you can google it. Or go to….

      @ Kenny1960 Thank you my black conservative friend! We love you and welcome you for you speak truth to power! If we had more patriotic black Americans such as yourself standing up for our country, well she would be a far better place today then she is. I hurt however because I know that the likes of race baiter Jackson and Sharpton distort the truth to suit their agenda. They outright lie to the black community and then line their pockets with cash from corrupt and mostly Islamic black business leaders. It is in their best interest to “Keep the black man down” that’s right they are the real reason for the blight of black America. As long as parents in the “hood” continue to believe it is “whitey” and not “Jacksony and Shartony” that are keeping them “down” nothing will ever change. I served during the cold war and had several black brothers in arms who to this day I would give my life for. If you have common sense and truth and love in your heart then you are my friend and my brother regardless of race or creed! Besides we all bleed RED, White and Blue when we are injured…

      Unfortunately, if BHO gets another term, he will have no worries about the next election. So, he will double down on his progressive agenda. I don’t believe the country, as we know it, will be able to survive. There are already huge tax increases in Obamacare, plus the taxes he is so anxious to raise now. Sat goodby to prosperity.

      Understand this much, if Mr Obama and his socialist progressive cronies realize they are losing the final power and control they have; then they may very well decide to execute a scorched earth option in order to do as much damage as they can, and maybe just up and collapse the whole nation at the same time.

      Normally I would not think or dream anyone would be quite THAT crazy or angry; yet with this set of czars, and progressives, anything remains possible and all of its dangers are on the table.

    Are you kidding me. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this economy! Everything is fine. Whats is this man thinking. The stimulus saved millions of jobs. The rich just need to get over it and step up and pay more taxes. Big business is the problem We need people like Obama, Pelosi, Reed, Boxer and others to lead the way to socialism and communism….Just wanted to see how far you would have read before you hit the reply button and started cursing me out.       Taxes. The RICH don’t pay much in taxes, many pay nothing. Changing the Tax Laws, Tax rates, will not work until you CLOSE all the loopholes. You know, GE, Gates and all those others who pay 0. It will be the middle class small business that provide jobs and pay taxes that this tax hike will affect. I am a republican but I cannot ( maybe I do) understand why the Republicans will not close the tax loopholes on the very, very rich. GE gives ( and again this election) hundreds of millions in campaign donations to Obama and many in Congress. Our elected representatives have their hands out and will not change the tax loopholes that protect their “friends”. Protect and fill their coffers. When Obama keeps saying Tax Hikes for the rich, he means ( and darn well knows it) small businesses and others that don’t/cannot afford million dollar attorneys and financial advisors to find these loopholes. It’s another way of raising taxes on those that provide jobs. The only way to get away with this is to lie to the people. He wants those tax hikes and will say/do anything to get them. I just can’t figure out …when everyone is on welfare, no jobs, no businesses to grow and provide jobs, there will be no tax money. No revenue. Who will support this massive government then? Perhaps that’s why Obama keeps saying we must find something to produce & sell. Line us all up and make us work for them while they sell to other countries what we produce. That my friends is communism. Plain &

    Amen. Return to the constitution and drop off the things not in the constitution. All the other things can be done by the states if the people of the states want to do them. The free people can vote with their feet from those states. States that make bad choices will suffer (CA, MI, MA) and others will succeed (TX, OK). Let choices and consequences determine outcomes at individual and lower levels. Don’t saddle the nation with these programs. Let the Federal Government be the high tower of liberty not the prison of conformity. May God bless us all again.

    I truly believe that the policies of the President have been very successful and that he has nothing to apologize for. He is doing what he said he would do and it is working. That being said, his intentions to fundamentally change America MUST BE STOPPED because he is destroying our Country – which is what he has intended to do since he became a street organizer. Those who think he will somehow realize what he has started in motion at an accelerated pace is bad for the country and change his mind are kidding themselves. THIS is what he wanted to do – he thinks he is right and therefore do not hold your breath waiting for an admission of error. He will not change anything -WE MUST CHANGE HIM to a private citizen.

      @??? As for treason/cowards – you express the feelings of many. But, we CANNOT impeach him. Congress still carries his water for him. He has too many blind ‘useful idiots’ who will cover for him to the bitter end. Also, impeachment, while the CORRECT course of action, will take longer than actually voting him out.

      We need to stop pretending that Obama is anything BUT the enemy.. for that he is. He is the enemy of liberty and freedom.. he is the enemy of a free market, capitalist economy.. and as you have so very eloquently pointed out in your post.. the results of his policies are exactly what was hoped and planned for.
      In reality, this is not an “Obama” thing.. this has been in the works for years.. if not decades.. and the right is just as guilty as the left.

      There are still way too many people in this country that don’t know any better, or maybe they do, who would vote for him regardless.
      We have abandoned the faith of our Founding Fathers, and without that spiritual direction we can only run a course towards the abyss of history.
      The Church (generic) in America has surrendered its role of being a major influence in the public discourse of policy debate.
      I wish the pastors of these churches would do more preaching on public policy.
      How dare we howl in outrage at the corruption and evil that thrives in this country and then go to church on Sundays and pray for God to give us stuff, and then say we are blessed when we say we have lots of stuff.
      In Revelation Jesus dictated letters to the seven churches of Asia Minor-if He sent a letter to the Churches of the United States of America, what do you think He would say?

      The Christian churches have utterly failed us, we need to get the money changers out of the church and get the churches back to trying to make the planet a better place. Our church has a congregation that has an average family income in the mid 30′s and averages less than 400 attending on Sunday morning, yet our pastor makes in excess of 200K per year, gets a free home, car allowance, full family insurance with no deductible, book allowance, gas allowance. There is no way he is going to risk his extravagant lifestyle by standing up against the evil taught in our schools, the evil being done enslaving the poor in this nation through our welfare system, standing up against abortions, etc.

      With that said, if an actual (meaning both parents are black) black person runs for President, I am sure the media will reinvent McObama by playing up his white heritage.
