Rep. Carson on Camera: ‘I Stand on the Truth of What I Spoke’

Rep. Carson Stands by Racist Tea Party CommentsAt a Congressional Black Caucus event in Miami, Indiana Democratic Rep. Andre Carson used some incendiary words to describe what he believes is the Tea Party’s stance on African Americans.

Carson’s comments, first exposed by The Blaze, betrayed the congressman’s belief that Tea Partiers on Capitol Hill want to see African Americans “hanging on a tree.” Carson’s comments invoked the comparison of racist Jim Crow laws to current Tea Party actions:

“[Tea Partiers would] love to see us as second-class citizens…some of them in Congress right now of this tea party movement would love to see you and me…hanging on a tree.”

And now, for the first time, Rep. Carson is personally defending his remarks.  A spokesman had earlier reaffirmed the Congressman’s comments.

Carson tells CNN, “I stand on the truth of what I spoke.”

As you watch the clip, note that the focus of the CNN story is not the outrageous comments by Rep. Carson.  The story headline asked the question, “Growing division within the Tea Party?”

My Black friend Kenny comes to every Tea Party meeting. The 1st one He wanted to go with Me because he heard so many bad things. I told Him I would be glad to bring Him (His car is nicer so He drove). After the 1st time He loved it. Everyone was very nice to Him. They were glad to see Him there standing up for what He believes in “LOWER TAXES.” Now He goes to more than I do. The Black Carcus are a Bunch of Haters and hide behind their color. Maxine Waters is a joke and if you vote for Her you get what you have, NOT MUCH. Also this azz clown Carson. He’s a fool or He lies. Maybe both.

God bless your friend, I am in college and very surprised by the number of African Americans, especially women, who refuse to go on welfare or be a subject of dependency on the system. It is these racist leaders like those in the black caucus who do so many African Americans a great injustice by continually enabling people not to progress and become independent. I was very impressed today as my professor of “Family Systems” calmly debated another African American ( my professor is A A) about how welfare doesn’t meet it stated goal. The student was quite defensive about this “entitlement” and couldn‘t understand how it didn’t help people become independent. It only makes a person dependent.
I will be out right honest, people like these racist in the black caucus and those like Jermia Wright, only continue to beat the drum demanding that their people are just given more. Instead of using their ability and talents to motivate their follower to move forward and be independent and live the American Dream together. Instead, thy isolate themselves and only ensure they remain different from society instead of embracing the equality that already exists. I fully understand and admit that there is a great deal of work that needs done concerning racism, but the progress seemingly has been purposely stalled. It is like those who realized that with becoming independent also come a certain amount of accountability and responsibility. Just like their liberal counter parts.

I was forced to take welfare when I was young. I had always had a job and it was horrible. As the months passed I saw how people around me would scam to get more and I was horrified to think how it enslaved those on it. I got off but most I knew had no desire to get a job and found ways to scam the system for more money and food stamps. It is a no win system that pays fathers to leave their kids and pays mothers to crank babies out. It has destroyed out country!

I know that feeling. I was a single parent of a handicapped child, working for minimum wage or lower (piecerate in a factory, so as a new learner, sometimes it was below minimum wage). I applied, but was told that because I had a vehicle, that I was still paying on, a roof over my head (rented) and a job, I wouldn’t be getting any benifits. I asked if I quit my job and sold my truck would I qualifiy? I was actually told yes. Best thing that happened to me. I hunkered down, learned to budget and survived. You can‘t eat out every day if you don’t have the money. I don’t think I even had a credit card at that time. I ate a lot of meatless spaghetti for dinner.

Carson has the same problem as the other CBC members.
      They push a race-based agenda (‘black’ caucus..hello!).
They have anomosity towards this country (see: CBC’s trip to Cuba).
They (many blacks) have racial-hatred towards whites (see: Wisc St Fair, Philly mob attacks).

Funny that all the hate filled rhetoric is coming from the Congressional Black Caucus and Maxine Waters. They use all kinds of derogatory words and comments to describe the Tea Party. They have not one shred of evidence that the Tea Party is racist, but they use all kinds of vitriolic speech to describe the Tea Party. What it boils down to is the Tea Party wants to shrink government and the Congressional Black Caucus sees that as racist because it would get a huge chunk of blacks off of government assistance that taxpayers have been paying for for decades. That has nothing to do with race, but blacks want to turn it into a racial thing.

Those who have been raised on welfare and have raised their‘s to believe that the bigger the gov’t the better off they will be, find anyone who is for smaller gov’t must be out to hurt those on welfare. Therefore the Tea Party is racist because they themselves equate welfare with race. The sense of accomplishment and character built from earning a living is foreign concept and is just plain scary to someone who just collects a paycheck without earning it. The blame of this thinking is squarely on the shoulders of those who created the entitlement to begin with….or from their point of view….the credit.

It is almost magical how these professional Lefties actually almost pull off appearing to be empowered and strong by crying “victim” like little school girls. (I apologize to any crying school girls who may have been offended by my comment.)

It’s time for true Christian Blacks to unite in the name of Jesus, and diss this hateful rhetoric from a bunch of CBC‘s who don’t realize how good they have it compared to their constituents who have no jobs, no money, no prospect for anything as long as their own congressmen avoid helping them and expect you to forgive them and vote for them again next time. Pick out a good Christian to represent you in congress and fire these SATAN WORSHIPERS.

Look who is calling the kettle black. The congressional black caucus is the most racist of all members of congress! They have a total Plantation mentality! A 150 years after the Civil War, Conservatives are still trying to free the slaves while blacks continue to support and very policies that keep them enslaved!

Carson proves that racism is a healthy mental outlook. He’s happy, the singers in the CBC choir are happy and cheering. They want white people to pay for something and to die.

We got to stop worrying about being a racist or not. It’s just stupid. You can be prejudiced IN FAVOR OF other members of your own race, as ALL African-Americans are, and still get into heaven.

I do not approve of the way black children are raised nor of the the rate of abortion common in African women. I don’t approve of the tacit, cow-like kneeling the Africans do before ghetto fashion, language and their indifference to marriage. I resent African hypocritical and hysterical position on gay issues because of the high incidence of bi-sexuality in the African population. I think any American who has accepted a job, a place in college or a promotion over a more qualified candidate simply because they were born Black after 1960 is a slimy rat.

In other words, I don’t have a high opinion of popular African-Hyphen culture. If I don’t approve, does that make me a racist? Does any African-American really care what I think? Carson, a racist, will be p***** in his pants if some black person gets murdered. He couldn’t care less about the victim. All the clapping people of the caucus choir feel the same.

The racists members of the black caucus are an immature, dangerous mob supported by a fearful, vengeful and hate-filled constituency. How do you build a future for your children on that?

I think it’s safe to say that we real, patriotic Americans are about sick and tired of listening to these belligerent, racist, ignorant Lefties and their lies. It gives me hope that November 2012 could be the Earth-shattering landslide that it needs to be.

It is misguided to think Nov 2012 will bring everything back into normalcy.

Ideological philosophies don’t change because one wins or loses an election. Your ideology Is a core belief that continues until abandoned. If you are a conservative today, you will be one on Nov 2012, and again so in Nov 2020 if that is what you believe.

You have to participate everyday to affirm and let the world know what you represent. There is a constant ideological push and pull going on every instant.

If you don’t like what you see, you act today, tomorrow, and next week, and not wait for others and Nov 2012.
