Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) said on Sunday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi led Democrats out of the “wilderness” four years ago and into the “land of milk and honey.”
“We spent four years in the wilderness, then we spent for years in the majority. Who lead us out of the wilderness: Nancy Pelosi,” Clyburn said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

I didn’t realize how well off I am, but then I don‘t live in the Washington bubble where it’s been sunshine and lollipops since the Dems took over in 2007. Could have sworn that the unemployment was in the 4.5-5% range back in ‘07, but again, I’m part of the unwashed, illiterate, uneducated population out here who has to deal with reality everyday.

YOU might be in the land of milk and honey but you have done nothing for your District. Almost 14% unemployment and an average salary of $28,000 is not the ‘land of milk and honey” for Americans. I live in the 1st District of SC which is on the Atlantic Coast and we just elected Tim Scott to Congress. Tim happens to be Black, so this is not racial. I look out my windows and I see palm trees and the ocean. People in Clyburn’s District see sights that look like they are from the Great Depression years. For 20 years Clyburn has played Master to his District and it is shameful that the people live in shacks and only 40% graduate from high school. Clyburn has been very good at getting pork for Evil Big Companies NOT in his District. This man is beyond shameful.

Her name if I remember right is Harriet Tubberman; and she wanted freedom for the slaves.
Unlike Pelosi, who simply wishes to destroy the country and enslave us all to the will of the government and her becoming a lifetime tyrant.

One difference with Obama and Churchill, is that Churchill had the guts most times to do what was needed to win the war against Hitler and the madmen he had around himself. I have read biographies on Churchill and that man was remarkable – form the Boor wars in S Africa to the second World War, and he did indeed make mistakes, some small and some gigantic ones.
Obama makes gigantic ones while never learning from them.

Speaker of the House, Pelosi’s statements on economic stimulus and unemployment insurance shows either a complete lack of understanding of Economics or extremely evil intent. A stupid person could not obtain Ms. Pelosi’s position in life; therefore, the only alternatives are ignorance or evil intent.
Our problem is not the distribution or the consumption of wealth. Wealth must be created before it can be either distributed or consumed so the problem is the creation of wealth.
Government force is only effective in the redistribution and consumption of wealth. Force cannot be used to create wealth. Only economic freedom promotes the production of wealth. The fact that force is totally impotent in the creation of wealth is proven by the thousands of years of tyranny that preceding the Industrial Revolution. Ms. Pelosi’s solutions only involve the use of force to redistribute and consume wealth.
Wealth, unlike energy, can be both created and destroyed and the surest way to destroy wealth is the use of force. Once our wealth has been destroyed or consumed, all of Ms. Pelosi’s proposed solutions will also be totally impotent.
Remember, both Hitler’s and Mussolini’s coup required a severe economic crisis. Any economy that encourages consumption and discourages production of wealth is certainly headed into a severe economic crisis. The transfer of wealth to political cronies and loss of freedom contained in the first Stimulus Bill only discourages the creation of wealth.
What is your opinion? Is Ms. Pelosi ignorant or is she just evil? If you believe that she is ignorant, do you think her ignorance can be cured? Please suggest a solution.
But remember, ”IGNORANCE CAN BE CURED, BUT STUPIDITY IS FOREVER!”

Since capitalism and socialism cannot co-exist in the same space, we must be considered a socialist society, (one cannot be slightly pregnant).
