Rep. Joe Walsh Blasts MSNBC’s Bashir: ‘Your Profession Did Not Vet’ Obama

Republican Congressman Joe Walsh and MSNBC anchor Martin Bashir got into a heated exchange on Friday over President Barack Obama. During the debate, Walsh blasted Bashir’s “profession” for not vetting Obama during his bid for the presidency in 2008.
An acrimonious Bashir, perhaps not surprisingly, then resorted to citing racism as the reason behind Walsh‘s stated decision to skip Obama’s jobs speech next Thursday:
“I am asking you, are you able to be as disrespectful to the office of president by simply walking away from something that every member of the Congress is going to attend? Is that also because he’s black?” quizzed Bashir.
Walsh blasted back:
“Oh, gosh, Martin! White, black, brown, yellow, you don’t name it. We have a President right now that is bankrupting this country and destroying job creation in the country and I think it is purely political for him to call a joint session of Congress to announce some jobs plan. I’m going to go back home and speak to the people who really know how to create jobs in this country.”
Bashir pressed Walsh, stating, “You said in the past that Mr. Obama would never been elected if he wasn’t black. And you say liberals here- we’re in love with him, being a black, articulate man. You say- If liberals see the President through his race, how do you see him? are you color blind? Are you color blind?”
To which Walsh replied, “No- Here’s what I think- I think- I do my best to be color blind, Martin. And, again, not knowing you I am sure you do as well. Here is what I think: I think that we elected this President for who he was, a historic figure. It made this country feel good to elect him. We did not vet him. Your profession did not vet him as much as we should.”

These people like him really dislike whites, Christianity, and white culture and traditions. What he wants is what they all want: To take over our country and leave us as second class citizens who are reduced to a minority with no real influence. Until they can manage to bring that about, they’re content to intimidate us into submission.
MSNBC, CNN, and CNBC, are in business as the “minority” channels. All their programming and anchors have to do strictly with topics of interest and benefit to their minority audiences. And their one overiding purpose is to make everything about race, because, to them, everything IS about race.
I’d love to see an interviewee respond to one of their racial insinuations about Obama by telling him/her that he thinks Obama is too concerned with race, citing the Gates/policeman incident, Holder‘s declaration that he isn’t going to prosecute “his people,” Reverend Wright’s racial hate, and Obama’s assertion that his grandmother acted like a “typical white person.” There’s lots of weaknesses to exploit if Republicans will just do it.
Good for Walsh. He told the Incredible Dork, Matthews off. Now he’s hammering back at this jihadist.
Let’s hear more attacks from the right.

My Grandfather, a Registered Republican since 1937 shocked our family the other day. He told us that he has always voted based on how much he felt he could trust a candidate, not which party he was in. My family always thought he voted Republican straight down the ticket every election, but he only Registered to have more say in the overall voting process. Being a Registered Republican myself, and looking at the lineup of Republican candidates that I can honestly say I’d feel comfortable voting for. None are 100% ideal, but one has stuck to his convictions over the years. I may not like his foreign policy, but every president has a learning curve once they are voted in.

I didn’t think they could dig any deeper in the commie bin after they got rid of Ted Kopel, but they have. Gawd, of all the low points for Kopel, it couldn’t go any lower than he going to Viet Nam in 2004 and interviewing (I‘m laughing as I’m typing this) Vietnamese people after 35 years or so to “verify” John F‘n sKerry’s story about a short battle on a river in the Mekong Delta. Kopel was trying to “prove” skerry’s story as apposed to what several other Swift Boat commanders who were present at the same incident were telling. It was a truely unbelievable and surreal thing to behold.

This is the incident where sKerry panicked and took off, abandoning the other boats (dumping one of his passengers in the drink to boot). When he decided it was safe to come back, the heroics by one of the other commanders was over (he had jumped aboard the out of control boat which had wounded on and subdued it). When they first hit the mine they thought they had been fired on from shore also (ambush), but in a short time realized there were no incoming rounds from either shore. sKerry, who always insisted on writing up the action reports, wrote it up as a great big firefight, taking fire from shore 1000 yards up and down the river.
