Rep. Weiner Admits Lewd Twitter Pic ‘Maybe…Started Out Being a Photograph of Mine’

Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) said Wednesday night that a lewd photo that was published on his Twitter account “could have” been of him but said it “doesn’t look familiar.”
Appearing on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show on Wednesday, Weiner gave his most detailed explanation to date about the alleged photo hacking, but still left a number of unanswered questions.
Maddow asked Weiner directly if it was “possible that this started out as a private photo of yours that ended up in the public domain accidentally or at least in a way that you didn’t intend?”
Said Weiner: “Well, it could be or it could have been a photograph that was that’s taken out of context or manipulated or changed in some way.”

Just look at Charlie Rangel and William Jefferson, Democrat, Louisiana (remember him using the National Guard during Katrina to get him to his house so that he could retrieve the $100 K he had stashed in his freezer?). Weiner says that it’s not necessary to contact the authorities because, obviously, he doesn’t want them knowing what all is on his computer. And when he says it’s not a national security matter, he couldn’t be more wrong: Congressman are privy to confidential material concerning matter of national security and we should all be SCREAMING for an investigation. This a**hole is sickening.

Besides which, none of what he’s potentially done either: 1) Changes his political ideology, or 2) Is immoral, with the possible exception of cheating on his wife, and that’s ONLY immoral because he did so, presumably, without her consent (bad form). Regardless, immorality (which I don’t think there is any here) is certainly not grounds for impeachment–it didn’t stop Bush-Cheney from being re-elected despite manifestly violating the U.S. Constitution by detaining U.S. citizens without due process…and then torturing them (rude).
