Report: After Previous Denials, Liberal Jewish Group Admits Soros Funding

A new Washington Times investigative report reveals that billionaire, and liberal political activist, George Soros has been funding the Jewish-American advocacy group J Street, despite previous claims from the organization to the contrary.
According to the Times, Soros and his two children gave $245,000 from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009 — which represents a third of the group’s revenue from U.S. sources during that period.
With the funding now in the open, J Street executive director Jeremy Ben Ami has changed his group‘s stance on Soros’s contributions. In an interview with the Times, Ami said that the $245,000 was part of a $750,000 gift from the Soros family to his organization made over three years, and admitted that during that same period Soros had raised $11 million for J Street and its political action committee.
J Street has long billed itself as the more reasoned Jewish-American organization, contrasting itself with organizations such as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). For example, the group advocates for a two-state solution to the Middle East conflict. That apparently caught the eye, and wallet, of Soros, who has decried “hawkish” Isreali policy, and who has funded such liberal organizations as MoveOn.org and Media Matters for America.
And while earlier versions of the group’s website claimed no connection to Soros, J Street now boasts about the new revelatioin. “I am very, very proud that our movement and what we are trying to do is aligned with the values and principles of George Soros and we are proud to have his support,” Ami told the Times.
In the past, certain groups and individuals have chosen to distance themselves from Soros because of his views on Israeli foreign policy. During the 2008 election even then-candidate Barack Obama chose to repudiate some of Soros’s comments.
But for now, J Street is glad to have the endorsement of Soros, and has not indicated that it disagrees with any of his beliefs. Soros has returned the favor, according to his spokesman Michael Vachon: “Mr. Soros believes that J Street makes an important contribution to the debate on Mideast policy.”

The documents revealing Soros’s contributions to J Street can be viewed on the website “The Lid.”
“J-Street is a fraud,” the website’s author Jeff Dunetz writes, “it says it is pro-Israel while taking anti-Israel positions.”
According to Dunetz, J Street has said in the past that it had difficulty in distinguishing “between who is right and who is wrong” and “picking a side” when it came to Israel’s conflict with Hamas. Dunetz also says that the group has previously advocated U.S. negotiations with Hamas.

So, convinced through propaganda, that Hitler and the Nazis were right wing, rather than nationalistic offshoots of left-wing communists and global socialists, is it so surprising the Jewish community would veer left and want to distance themselves from anything tainted with the “right-wing” stigma?
The socialists, progressives, communists, and Maoist/Marxists are responsible for more death and human miseray than any other creed ro belief in the histopry of the world. They gave birth to Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot – and the list goes on. They slaughted literally hundreds of millions in the twentieth century, all in the name of the collective good.

I‘m sure that most of you saw Glenn’s show last night with Kitty M__ from the Eagle Forum in South (?) Dakota. She explained the events leading up to the Nazi occupation in the 1940′s. Many of the events she mentioned have already taken place in America in the last 20 months. Yet, the Jewish population follows the Democrats. Go figure! Ben Ami is Senior Vice President of Fenton Communications, an orginization directly involved with MOVEON.org. Fenton was co founded by Naomi Wolfe, a liberal author and contributor to the Huffington Post and Wes Boyd, co-founder of Moveon.org. But the biggest connection is to Maggie Williams who has her tentacles in a dozen liberal outlets that push civil liberties, anti-religion and support for public policy such as cap and trade.
I have been down this path before with Soros and his flunkys. Its a tangled web of American hate with a progressive agenda to bring America to her knees and be forced to accept a global social agenda. If you think that guys like Ben Ami are just stories on a page….BEWARE…these folks want to change America now and they are well on their way. With the hundreds of left-wing organizations funded by Soros and his Democracy Alliance that hate capitalism, freedom and the constittution, if Americans don’t wake up, when we do, it won’t be the America we have always known and loved.

I am waiting for anti-Semitic J Street to admit 5% or more of its funding is derived from Islamic nations and Muslims, including some who support Hamas and other Islamic terrorist groups.
Baffles me Jeremy Ben Ami, a Jewish boy and a Billy Clinton lackey, both accepts money from and befriends known enemies of Israel and known Islamic terrorist supporters. Then there is J Street support for building a victory mosque atop of Ground Zero.
Sometimes I wonder if Ben Ami is a closet Muslim as is Barack Obama.

This was written during the Bush administration – very revealing of the far left. If you haven’t read it, you should. You will recognize many of the same names that are in O’s inner network and lots of info about Soros and the many organizations he has established – it is mind boggling what he is doing. David Horowitz’s website, I believe, is Discover The Networks. He’s written some other great books as well.

This crime ridden thug, that the left loves and embraces, because of his “contributions” to their cause, only helps him make more money.
George Soros is their PIMP and, either unwittingly or fully aware, they make him millions and millions every year by doing his bidding. Without capitalism, there wouldn’t be a George Soros or progressive movement to redistribute wealth. There would be no wealth. That’s were the progressive movement fails and George Soros succeeds.
And, it’s why George Soros keeps spending millions of dollars funding the destruction of what we know. It is in his business plan to keep making money and dominating weak peoples thoughts. It takes money to make money, and Soros is no stranger to capitalism or deceiving individuals for his personal gain.
Soros and Madoff should eventually have thousands of hours in prison to discuss where they went wrong.
