Report: Jihadists Could be Plotting to Bomb U.S. Military Funerals

Al Qaeda continues to plot horrific violence against civilians in the West, and now their strategy may include attempts to bomb U.S. military funerals here at home. Jihadist Calls for Bombing U.S. Military Funerals

According to information obtained by the private SITE intelligence network, a posting on the jihadist-associated Ansar al-Mujahideen internet forum suggested that American military funerals posed a unique opportunity to maim and kill U.S. military and political leadership through suicide bombings.

The poster explained why he believed the plan to attack military funerals would be both effective and simple. According to SITE’s translation of the threat:

“the bodies of dead American soldiers arrive daily from Afghanistan, and a large number of officials attend their funerals, including state governors, and protection is almost non-existent. Thus… a suicide bomber can camouflage himself in a military uniform and approach the target with ease.”

In a later post, the same jihadist included pictures of a suicide belt (pictured below):

The latest threat serves as a remind that the U.S remains under constant threat from of an ongoing Al Qaeda campaign to incite “homegrown” and “lone wolf” terrorism against the U.S. homeland.

In June this past year, Al Qaeda’s media arm — As Sahab- released a video that included the English-speaking Al Qaeda member Adam Gadahn (indicted for treason) telling Jihadists to buy weapons and conduct one-off attacks against innocent Americans.

Attempts to attack U.S. military funerals could become a new Jihadist tactic in this broader terror campaign. It also serves as yet another example of the sheer evil and complete dishonor of Al Qaeda.

      And dogs hate Muslims! I was in Jeddah and there was a scarred dog who was very friendly to non Muslim individuals but repeatedly I saw him lay waiting for any Muslim and then he would charge growling furiously while they ran for cover!

I know they have a broken link up there, but that’s probably because you need to pay money to see any of their content (which leaves me more than a little suspicious of their results, but that just me).     I guess you missed the techniques used by the muslim of timed explosions over in mid-east. Or about the continued propaganda within the muslims of the white devil. Or the encouragement to sacrifice for their allah. Or amount of money thrown at the cells to bring down the planes of 911. Or the attack within Hort Hood of a muslim screaming “allah akbar.” Or the cells discovered in NY city with bomb making material. Or the continued references as Islam is a “religion of peace”.

    Really! When are we going to wise up and realize that Islam is the same as Germany‘s National Socialism or Japan’s Imperialism was during WWII! Not all Japanese or Germans supported those regimes, but that didn’t stop us from killing Germans and Japanese in mass! Ancient rules of war say that if you kill enough of them they eventually will stop fighting.       I once believed this as you do, before 911. But after the “one time” scenario of 911, I’ve come to believe a certain segment of American population would again blame these suicides on America, and then the murders as freedom fighters.

      I would have thought that an atrocity as devastating as Pearl Harbor, on innocent civilians, would have steeled American patriotism as it did in WW2. Instead, I look around, and it became a war for oil?. Sadly, we can’t even name the new structures in NY as Freedom Towers, because it would be offensive. But yet, a new mosque can be built within eyesight of the Freedom Towers to show our tolerance to a “religion of peace”.

      There needs to be a new resolution within the American spirit of complete, one sided, devastation. Until our soldiers are released, without political hindrance, there will be no victory, no determination, and no solution to these suicide bombers. Not until we can humiliate these dope-smoking-amerkan-activist. Just prepare yourself for the excuses of why it’s our fault.

      BTW: Fort Hood was a terrorist attack on American soil. Yes, they are coming to an America near you.

    I hate to say it…but it is probably going to take something like this (or larger) to get the government to stop the PC nonsense and start wholesale deportation of any Muslim here on a visitors visa or work visa…and stop all incoming Muslims from entering the country…and start seeing the common sense to PROFILING at airports.

    I’m extremely disappointed in Beck and the The Blaze. Obama just ordered backdoor amnesty and they’re barely even covering it.

    I just don’t understand how Beck is focusing so much time on Israel when America is rotting from the inside out. Beck has NEVER been to the border here in Arizona; not once. Illegal immigration is a much greater threat to America than anything in the Middle East. The Democrats want to give voting rights in America to millions of people that don‘t acknowledge the United States’ right to exist. Yet Beck is silent?

      Stop blaming Beck. Tell me, just what are YOU doing about it. Think Beck is to fight every single fight there is to fight by himself and all at once? He has been telling Americans about all of this for years. What are you doing about it ?

      Mr Mike Glenn said when He was launching GBTV that he was developing a BIG story on the Border situation that will come out after the Sept launch. You can’t expect him to be Superman. Give him a break. he probably would have talked about the immigration thing today on the radio but he wasn’t on just Pat.

      Agreed…I think the single greatest industry to come to our country in the next 10 years, will be private security along the lines of Blackwater.

      We’ll see trained militia members in full tactical gear and assault rifles stationed outside every major business and public building.
