Report: Massive War Game Planned by Iran, Russia, China, Syria

Iran, Russia, China, Syria Plan Massive War Game with 90,000 Troops

Iran, Russia, China, and Syria plan to stage a massive war game over the next few weeks with the participation of 90,000 troops, 400 warplanes and 1,000 tanks making it the “biggest joint war game in [the] Mid-East,” the semiofficial Iranian Fars News Agency reported Tuesday.

The news agency writes from Tehran:

The Iranian, Russian, Chinese and Syrian armies are due to stage joint amphibious exercises along the Syrian costs [sic] in coming weeks, informed sources revealed on Monday.

According to informed sources, 90,000 forces from the four countries will take part in the land and sea wargames due to be held in Syria.

Ground, air and sea forces as well as air defense and missile units of the four countries will take part in the exercises.

Sources also said that Egypt has acceded to grant passage to 12 Chinese warships to sail through the Suez Canal, adding that the military convoy is due to dock at the Syrian harbors in the next two weeks.

The report also references the arrival of Russian and Iranian battleships and submarines:

Russian atomic submarines and warships, aircraft carriers and mine-clearing destroyers as well as Iranian battleships and submarines will also arrive in Syria at around the same date.

Syria plans to test its coast-to-sea and air defense missiles in the wargames.

A sum of 400 warplanes and 1,000 tanks will also be used in the exercises.

A Syrian official, who asked to remain anonymous, had informed two weeks ago that the drills would be conducted in Syria soon.

Russian media contradicted part of the report, as told by The Jerusalem Post:

Iranian news outlets also included details of Russian plans to send two of its Black Sea fleet ships to Syria’s port of Tartus to protect Russian citizens. Russian news outlet RIA Novosti contradicted this report, quoting a Navy official as saying the Caesar Kunikov ship did not set course from Sevastopol to the Mediterranean, and that it is rather en route to measure magnetic and acoustic fields, adding that both ships in the Black Sea fleet were carrying out scheduled routine maintenance. Other Russian media outlets also contradicted the Iranian media reports.

Iranian media does not report the goal of the exercises, but Israel National News offers this possibility: “The purpose of the maneuvers is probably intended as a warning to the West in light of their threats to intervene in President Bashar Al-Assad’s violent suppression of Syrian opposition.”

      @Truth….No matter whether the secular Russians keeps their puppet in power, or if Syria is taken over by crazy islamists, this will not be a good situation for Christians in the country. Russia is not our friends, nor is Iran, China or Assad’s Syria.

    As Obama’s imperial take-over and his martial law in place, are his “allies” helping him do so and attack Israel in the process? Obama and Hillary have given China a lot of the U.S. for our debt to them. Even though Russell hates Obama, they will work a deal with the devil if it benefits them.       I find it interesting that God gave us the Bible with a play by play accounting of what will happen, what IS happening and who will be involved but some people still will not believe.In fact I was told just this past week that I talk too much about God and the things I see occuring that are straight out of the Bible.

      We are not anarchy over here on the far right. I believe the path we are on leads to bankruptcy, temporary anarchy, and then global government.

      Barber the key to the whole thing is money. Once we are bankrupt the globalist win. This is why we cannot support Romney. He has a budget that doesnt cut current spending levels. The Paul Ryan plan cuts 5 trillion over the next 10 years if were adopted. With 1.3 to 1.6 trillion dollar deficits you can see that doesnt fix our problem. We have a spending problem.

      So you see we need a budget that balances out soon, not 30 years from now. If we dont we are looking at even with Romney as president 20 to 21 trillion in debt by next election cycle. Lets also remember government budgets never over estimate. How long and how many more QEs is it going to take before this bubble bursts?

      Calling Angry, Soy, me, WCP and a couple other Ron Paul supporters on these forums anarchist is just wrong. We see the problem and the liberty movement is the answer. The problem we all face is this house of cards doesnt have much longer.

      @Barber, The Libertarian base of the Republican party does not see a substancial difference between Obama and Romney. I’ve actually read a piece on a Libertarian site saying the choice this time around is between a Socialist and a “Weathervane Fascist”, and the Socialist has a SLIGHTLY better foreign policy. I don’t agree. I think they’re just different sides of the same turd. Convince us we’re wrong. And yes we already know Romney never ate a dog, he‘s a businessman and at least he’s not a Communist. I don’t care if Obama ate dog, I actually prefer a military man as commander in cheif, and it’s debatable that either of them are Communists. I think they’re both somewhere in between, but their support for the Fed is REDISTRIBUTIONIST.

      Iraq and Afghanistan both are Insurgency Wars (Guerilla Warfare), And no one in the military ever said 130,000 troops could secure Iraq. The U.S. Army War College Strategic Studies Institute (SSI), told the politicians if we went into Iraq, it would take 500,000 troops and 20 years to secure the country. But we will never know, because the U.S. pulled the miliatry out of Iraq after 10 years..

      Also, I wasn’t talking about Insurgency Warfare, I was speaking of conventional warfare with Russia and China, like the First War with Iraq…..

      Actually the military were stating 130,000 wouldn’t do the job. I can‘t remember the general’s name off hand but it was our wonderful defense secretary under Bush (who was never in the military) stated 130,000 would be enough.
