Report: Next Terrorist Attack Could Involve Salad Bars

A new report by CBS news says the next terrorist might not come by land or sea, but rather salad greens.

The news outlet says it has confirmed “credible” threats that terrorists are now looking to target Americans by lacing buffets and salad bars with poison such as ricin and cyanide.

CBS News reports:

Of particular concern: The plotters are believed to be tied to the same terror group that attempted to blow up cargo planes over the east coast in October, al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

In online propaganda al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula has praised the cargo attack, part of what it called “Operation Hemorrhage.”

The propaganda says in part, “…attacking the enemy with smaller but more frequent operations“ to ”add a heavy economic burden to an already faltering economy.”

Manuals and videos on jihadist websites explain how to easy it is to make both poisons.

“Initially it would look very much like food poisoning,” said St. John’s University professor of pharmaceutical sciences Dr. Susan Ford.

She showed how little of each poison could be fatal by putting a small amount of poison in cups.

Armen Keteyian: Are these dosages enough to really harm someone or kill someone?

Susan Ford: Yes, these are 250 milligrams and that is the fatal dose.

Keteyian: So just that much sodium cyanide is enough to kill me?

Ford: Yes, it is.

      No need to Ban Salad Bars and Buffets; just the THREATS publisized will result in their failures, which is apparantly the intent at this point.       This is wrong. We wouldn’t want others to kill us for our beliefs (even though, as a Christian, I think that the possibility is strong that it will happen to me some day). Furthermore, the Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, and we can’t ignore the Constitution when it is convenient for us. That is what the left does.

      What we need to do is realize that more people drown in their bathtubs than die of terrorist attacks. Only think is that the bathtub drownings don’t make the news. Furthermore, life inherently has some risk to it. Sure, do what we can to prevent it, but we don’t need to run for the hills like scared chickens or something. If/when the occasional attack does happen, we find the killer and prosecute them.

      You can’t prevent ax murderers either… when someone does attack, we go after them.

      The freedom of religion in the constitution was saying that the federal government wouldn’t mandate a religion, like the church of England, and that the states had a right to mandate a religion, many already had this at the time. The founders would have never, ever under any circumstances considered the cult of islam a religion, and would have done everything in their power to prevent the spread of this vile evil.       The Federal Government cannot mandate a religion. This also means that they cannot mandate that people don’t follow a certain religion either.

      It’s true, the states can regulate religion. That doesn’t always work out well either. Massachusetts hung Quakers in 1659, 1660, and 1661 because they wanted to mandate beliefs. I personally don’t want to go back there, for a couple of reasons. For one, you can’t force someone to believe a certain thing. We were born with a mind to decide for ourselves. Secondly, if we allow one person’s religion to be condemned (no matter how much you dislike it), then others can condemn your beliefs.

      A little education on Islam would probably help. The truth, not what passes for education in the public schools. Let’s talk about Tariq bin Ziyad, who came across the Mediterranean to “help” the Visigoths and ended up taking over the country.     First of all, why are they even saying what could be used, and how to use them for the poisoning of the food supplies? This seems to be another scare tactic on the part of the administration as a way to crack down even farther and harder on the fewer rights we have left.

    To me, the administration seems to be either enticing a terror strike, or to manufacture an ‘event’ to make the terror of the American people a reality for their purposes.

      The next terror attack could be every squid in the ocean attacking us by flinging poisonous blue ringed octopi and wielding giant lobsters for melee attacks…

      I’m would like to develop a scalar interferometer to generate holographic, layered hemispherical shells of electromagnetic energy that would deflect radiation from a nuclear attack, and fry any incoming ballistic weapon like a bug-zapper.

      It’s expensive and difficult to design, but I’m sure we can do it, we’re American.

      Alternatively, somebody could help me build a spacecraft so we can get the hell off this planet while we still can….

      You raise some good points. I often tell my wife that if they (terrorist) really wanted to harm us here in the US there are so many “soft targets” that they could easily get to.

      I do believe that is Islam Muslim terrorist are a real threat to us all. They seek to kill us all and enforce their flavor of Islam on the whole world. Now regarding “home grown” terrorist, yes there have been some but I too think this move towards tightening up things here could encroach upon all of us as citizens.

      Easy solution.
      1. Ban Islam in America.
      2. Cut Muslim immigration down 90%, end birthright citizenship for foreigners.
      3. Any attacks on Americans by Muslims will have to pay a retribution tax of 10 million dollars per person killed to the direct family of the person killed.       Another reason I hunt. No poision in my venison. Hopefully we can get the Govt to hire tastetesters for all salad bars. Instead of canaries, we could have rabbits at all salad bars testing the veggies before we eat them (veggies, not the rabbits). It could also be these domestic terrorists that keep Holder up at night (playing their damn country music and singing Christmas carols too loud). WAIT, we could have TSA set up scanners and give random pat downs at every salad bar and buffett. That’s the answer, you must be felt up before you eat. Now this could cause people to get nausous and lose their appetite, thus getting FAT americans to lose weight. Ah, that is their plan, this is all a ruse to get us to lose weight, those cheeky buggers, what a plan.

      Same Old Ploy; make a CRISIS and ADD REGULATIONS. Just the thought of the poisioning will now hurt buffets and salad bars and the economy which is the real purpose behind such idle talk.
      Not only talk, but now that the WORD has been stated, there surely will be a few MUSLIM CRAZIES
      who will be interested in this killing behavior. Kissinger said the NWO bunch would take over the food and water supplies. We need Jehovah God’s PROTECTION. We are at WAR with an invisible enemy and our President has said he will stand with Islam. He can’t be any CLEARER than that. WHAT DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND? We are being destroyed from the “Top Down, the Bottom Up and the Inside”. How long, America? Must we go through riots, FEMA Camps, Martial Law and lose our heritage of Peace to these Radicals? Have you not had enough already? Where do YOU draw the line in the Sand?
