Report: Now Rahm Emanuel Allegedly Behind Cain Sexual Harassment Leak

By now most of the country has heard Herman Cain’s campaign accuse rival Rick Perry of leaking the story of Cain’s alleged sexual harassment of two former employees to Politico reporter Jonathan Martin.

Now, however, a Washington Times report has surfaced pointing the finger of blame at, of all people: Obama’s former chief of staff.  The Times reports that a source close to the Cain campaign went one step further and suggested it wasn’t only Perry, but Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who was the culprit behind the leak.

According to a source who is friends with the Cain campaign, not only is the Rick Perry campaign involved but also the Mayor of Chicago and former Obama White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is likely involved with the sexual harassment accuser attacks. A friend of the Cain campaign believes a National Restaurant Association (NRA) employee out of the Chicago office leaked the story to the Perry campaign via information and influence from Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s office.

But according to Martin, Curt Anderson, the Perry advisor who the Cain campaign is accusing of leaking the information, is denying the charges:

”I’ve known Herman Cain for about 7 years. I was one of several consultants on his Senate race in 2004 and was proud to help him. I’d never heard any of these allegations until I read them in Politico, nor does anything I read in the press change my opinion that Herman is an upstanding man and a gentleman. I have great respect for Herman and his character and I would never speak ill of him, on the record or off the record. That‘s true today and it’s not going to change.”

In the campaign world, it is not inconceivable to think that an operative from one party might leak damaging information to a member of the other party in an effort to undermine a common “enemy,” but given the unnamed source cited in the Times report, the jury is still out until more information becomes available.

Until then, will the “he said she said” where Cain’s accused “leakers” are concerned help the front-runner’s campaign, or hurt it?

Whereas Clinton was a confirmed predator who held the Nation blackmail to his lies Cain has a dew accusers from the leftist racists and i couldn’t care less.
Anything short of a child predator is better than Obama. Sadly the child predatory is a likely candidate to be a better President than the Alinsky radical we have right now. An Alinsky radical that lied to get his votes no less..

I think they are trying to ruin Cain with sexual harrassment because they can’t use the race card on him. If they can’t discredit him with being a racist, the next best thing is something in the sexual scandal. That will be obama’s strategy for Cain. But Cain should use obama‘s last strategy and accuse him of running for Bush’s fourth term since obama has doubled down on everything he used against McCain in 2008 by convincing people he wasn’t running against McCain but Bush. It was a winning strategy then and would work great now against obama.

All this sex talk is really killing discussion of campaign issues. Mr. Cain probably made a mistake in blaming the Perry camp, when he couldn’t prove it. Probably made a mistake in saying the attack was racially motivates. Wish this sex issue would DIE and let‘s get back to what’s important — what’s good for America.

Bet no one even knows that Mr. Cain changed his mind again about auditing the Fed.
Mr. Cain has a video where he says he’s learned more and he now agrees with Ron Paul — even mentioned Ron Paul by name and said he was right. Now THAT’s news!

Why is it that no one is mentioning one of Obama’s homosexual lovers who came out and said he and Obama were a pair. There was another man but his name was not published. Of course, the minute that Obama said in 2007 that he was running for “top banana”.Larry Sinclair and his remarks were stricken and not much has been heard from Mr. Sinclair since. Maybe there should be some sexual misconduct remarks made about the “king” in the White House now?

In the end, it doesn’t really make any difference where the leak came from: when you run for president, everything is going to come to light sooner or later, along with a few things that never happened to begin with but, once the lie is repeated often enough, will be taken as truth to a whole gaggle of people. I like Cain for the most part, but am not sure he’s got the stomach for the presidency. It’s not necessary to be a career politician to be POTUS, but it’s a good idea to get some political chops first — and President Obama is a prime case in point for that argument. He simply lacked experience, and this is not the job for on-the -job-training with no apprenticeship beforehand.

I liked Cain……….but his lack of prep for the national scene is very visible with this whole harrassment issue (whether or not he is or is not guilty). He has “lied” about this and that and totally unprepared for the fall out…….when he had 10 days notice from Politico. We are again reminded this week…….his foreign policy is sorely lacking.

Folks, likeable as he is………..he is NOT prepared to do the turnaround America needs on Day 1. That is FACT. You cannot wing it ALL of the time!

I disagree. Just like you said, if you repeat it enough, people will believe it, true or not. If Rahm is said to be involved, a lot of conservatives will believe it, especially when Rahm defends himself in denying it. The source of the leak is important, because it will reveal who is most afraid of the Cain campaign. Having Perry and Obama’s former chief of staff (establishment R‘s AND D’s) will only confirm the suspicions of many. The finger-pointing by Cain towards the Perry camp, may not have been an upstanding move, but if it’s true, it may turnout to have been the best option for Cain at this point in the story.

Wait a minute! The Cain people say that Curt Anderson WAS aware of the incidents. That he was informed as a consultant to the Cain Senate run back in 2004. That is most of the basis for them believing the Perry camp is responsible. So Anderson is now saying that the Politico story was the first he’d heard of it? That should be a pretty easy thing to prove or not.

I have resolved to give Cain 9.99 every month until the race is over as a result of this anonymous accuser fiasco. I am furious that they couldn’t keep him down through the debates or completely destroy his tax reform plan, and his likeability was rising, so they had to resort to smears.

I notice this crap only rolled out after he knocked Perry out of the second slot and was competitive with Romney. You don‘t use the weapons of last resort until you’re sure you’re gonna lose. Cain has rattled the left and the GOP establishment with his surge and they are trying to take him down hard. I am praying he weathers this crisis, learns from it, and it makes his campaign stronger.

the comment of an uneducated person. These sexual abuse allegations have NOTHING in common with the hill/thomas situation which indeed was he said/she said. In this case multiple women not just complained BUT FILED WRITTEN complaints at the time, multiple women were PAID off at the time, multiple women had to sign non-disclosures at the time. Cain has lied & lied & lied changing his story almost hourly. You people need to wake up….Cain will lose to Obama in the biggest landslide in history-just like he lost for Senate-in his home state where people KNEW him best. Cain and a few others are the only true Conservative patriots running this round. Last time, we picked a RiNO (JC) but not this time.
