Report: Obama‘s 1991 Literary Agency Described Him as ’Born in Kenya and Raised in Indonesia and Hawaii’

Update: Literary Agent Responds to ‘Born in Kenya’ Obama Bio: ‘Nothing More Than a Fact Checking Error’
Breitbart.com on Thursday published part of what it says is a 1991 promotional booklet from Barack Obama’s then-literary agency, describing the future president as “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”
The 36-page Acton & Dystel booklet was reportedly distributed to “‘business colleagues’ in the publishing industry,” according to Breitbart, and includes a short biography of Obama and 89 other authors. Obama’s biography features a brief mention of his anticipated first book, “Journeys in Black and White,” which he never completed:

Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. The son of an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, he attended Columbia University and worked as a financial journalist and editor for Business International Corporation. He served as project coordinator in Harlem for the New York Public Interest Research Group, and was Executive Director of the Developing Communities Project in Chicago’s South Side. His commitment to social and racial issues will be evident in his first book, Journeys in Black and White.

Jay Acton, who no longer represents Obama, told Breitbart News “almost nobody” wrote their own biography for the booklet, though said the non-athletes whom “the agents deal[t] with on a daily basis“ were ”probably” approached to approve the text.
Acton’s former partner Jane Dystel still lists Obama as a literary client, but did not respond to Breitbart’s requests for comment.
The text editor of the booklet, Miriam Goderich, also did not return requests for comment, though booklet designer Richard Bellsey told Breitbart it “sounds like one of our jobs, like I did for [Acton & Dystel] 20 years ago or more.”
(Editor’s note: Goderich has since said the biographical line was “nothing more than a fact checking error.”)
In a “senior management” note, Breitbart.com stated it is “a site that has never advocated the narrative of ‘Birtherism.’ In fact, Andrew believed, as we do, that President Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 4, 1961.”
The booklet, the post stated, is evidence “not of the President’s foreign origin, but that Barack Obama’s public persona has perhaps been presented differently at different times.”

It doesn’t prove what you say either. It implies that Obama has a history of using his “ethnic” history as a way to represent himself in a better light to different groups. As the article itself says that the folks presented did not usually write their own biography and could not say if Obama OK’ed it, it does not “prove” anything.
It does imply falsity and adds even more evidence that Obama has no problem with lying.

One, some copy editor made it up with no input from anyone…….EXTREMELY unlikely. Two, Barry was born in Kenya……..looking more likely every day. Three, Barry lied about being born in Kenya in order to gain financial aid for his college education…….FRAUD. Only the first, and least likely, would have happened without Barry being involved. He didn’t have to be born in the USA to be Senate, which was the role he was being groomed to have, not even the communists thought a black man had a shot at the Presidency and that’s why they also ran Hillary. The whole battle between Hillary and obama went on so long because they wanted to see just how far they could extend it to see whether the voters would rather elect a white woman or a black man. When it came down to it and the unions were successful in providing enormous crowds for obama’s rallies to make it look like he was causing a “movement” across the country and even in other countries, then they decided obama would be the one they would put in. They even took delegates away from Hillary to give to obama so they could give him the lead. What happened after that was Hillary’s desperation to beat obama and Bill tried threatening them by telling one CNN reporter to “come and talk to me when the election is over…” that’s why Hillary was made SOS, to keep her quiet and of course, Bill has been obama’s ace in the hole every since.

I know it is debatable, but in my opinion if a child is born of a US parent, they don’t get naturalized, they register their birth.

Okay, fine. But when taken into context with the fraudulent birth certificate, SS card, and selective service registration, and the neighbor/postal worker who remembers being told that Prez was an international student?
Look – I don‘t know if he is or isn’t. He has already proven that he will lie about absolutely anything. Could be that it was in his best interest when this was published to pretend to be an international student.
But … WHY can’t we at least ASK these questions without being ridiculed and called “birthers” as if we are a bunch of idiots? It’s a legitimate question that can be easily answered by our president with a copy of his real birth certificate.

My suspicion has always been that there are very strict limits placed on those who would like us the American airways and you must abide by them. Even Mike Church was dancing around this issue this morning while acknowledging that “birthers” had a right to be suspicious.
With all of the evidence that has been gathered concerning Obama’s fraudulent birth certificate, other doctored and manufactured records, his hidden college transcripts along with most of the supposed work he did while in college and just the complete lack of vetting of the man by the (Jewish) Media who as the loon Jeremiah Wright accurately states “selected” him before “electing” him has to at least raise suspicions right?
Most especially from a man who made a name for himself by encouraging us all “to question Boldly” even the existence of God…. First, you must use other than the CRS as a source ……….. although it sounds really cool when they use the term ‘scholarly’ in their writings. The source must address ‘natural versus naturalized’, not ‘citizen’ as you must be as close to the issue as possible. I suggest you try reading the obvious sources plus the founders and their intent which resulted in the way the constitution was written. Also, I believe it was Romney’s father that was born in Mexico, not Mitt. You were particularly vague the way you wrote that.

Good luck sending your kids to school safely in a community where narcotics are totally accessible and legal. Further, if legalized, then there would still need to be further regulation to control it (kids, etc.) and the same issues arise as stated above.

What you don’t understand is that laws often deal with morality and will follow the morality of the society making them. Of course some laws can be and absolutely are oppressive. But what you are naive to is that SOME laws are absolutely necessary. You seem to be advocating anarchy. Some laws actually help keep people free. A good example of this principle are the laws/commandments found in the Bible. Now some may say that they are oppressed and should be free to commit adultery without consequence. But God understands that by placing those restrictions on us, that is how we truly remain free. Free from addiction, free from sorrow, and free from the chains of the Adversary. Certain laws such as outlawing prostitution and drugs keep the community free from the adverse effects on that community. That is why these things are outlawed. Until you understand this, you will never fully understand true freedom.
Freedom does NOT equal anarchy (no laws at all). Otherwise your freedoms might be seriously restricted by your neighbors freedom to kill you. Get it? So I’m sure we agree some laws are necessary. Thus, why do you choose to support legalization of prostitution and drugs?

Outstanding research by blogger jbjd here, here, here, and he re, with summary here, showed that Nancy Pelosi and Alice Travers Germond , as representatives of the Democratic National Committee, had signed one Certificate of Nomination for Obama and Biden that was sent to 49 states (correction: most states), and another that was sent only to Hawaii. Only the certificate sent to Hawaii included a statement that Obama and Biden were Constitutionally qualified to serve as President and Vice-President.
That certificate of nomination for Hawaii is the ONLY statement in this nation signed by somebody besides Obama which claims that Obama is Constitutionally eligible to be President

For the sake of simplicity, lets say Obama was really born in Hawaii. If so, it sounds like he is pulling the Elizabeth Warren method of pulling more liberal street cred by lying about his background. That or he is just ashamed to be an American.,..

They were routinely published by relatives who may not have been in Hawaii or they may have been announcements of someone who was not born in Hawaii. They didn’t come from a hospital. This Usurper was born in Hawaii, Obama does not have a legitimate American birth certificate, if there was one the liberal Governor would have found it and ended this debate a year ago. This article is late coming out with this info. When the Governor of Hawaii cannot find his birth certificate, you have a little problem with the US Constitution on his “natural born” status. This has nothing to do with “being” a birther; it has to do with dealing with the truth. It appears that the people of the USA have been scammed and the embarrassment to the Afro-Americans in this country is beyond words.

The article confirms exactly what I said. They’re playing the “cater to the conspiracy theorists while winking and saying they’re totally not catering to the conspiracy theorists” game. It‘s like publishing a report on how the WTC could have been brought down by bombs buuuuuuuuuuut we’re totally not saying it was brought down by bombs. Or saying how this blurry picture could be Sasquatch buuuuuut it totally could be a bear.
It’s the standard found in the National Inquirer. It seems Breitbart’s death is killing the integrity of his site :-/

Please give that link, because I looked through several pages on snopes and found nothing. Actually, every single page said claims that he’s not a natural-born US citizen were false. The closest to a video I found was a PolitiFact article on a video claiming he says he’s not a citizen that was rated “Pants on Fire,” because it was clearly edited to change his words.
