Report: Police Refuse Help After Christian Pakistani Woman Gang Raped for an Entire Night The situation is becoming increasingly grim for Pakistan’s Christian population. Unimaginable fits of violence and acts of desecration against sacred lands barely begin to describe the horror and devastation that non-Muslims face in a nation that is becoming increasingly less tolerant. Last week, the Asia Times reported on two alleged instances that perfectly illustrate how the situation has devolved:

Christian tombs were recently desecrated and a young Christian woman was gang-raped for an entire night. In both cases, police refused to file a First Information Report, allowing the culprits to escape justice. These are examples of the ordinary violence visited upon Pakistan’s Christian minority.

The woman in question was a 29-year-old mother who was allegedly abducted by a Muslim co-worker, beaten and then violently raped. The most perplexing and infuriating part of her story is her quest for justice following the incident. According to accounts, despite her attempt to file a report, the police refused to help. Instead, they offered to assist the rapists in “cover[ing] their tracks.” The Catholic Church is understandably perplexed and disgusted by these developments:

Fr Joseph Jamil, a Faisalabad priest, strongly condemned the anti-Christian violence. “The Church,” he said, “is closing monitoring the issue.”

“Landowners and extremists are actively involved against the Christian minority in Punjab,” he told AsiaNews. “Most attacks happen in the central part of the province.” The government, he said, should “take charge of the situation and defend the minority.”

According to the Star Tribune, anti-Christian violence has become so intense that it is ingrained in the nation’s legal system. Anti-blasphemy laws are used to suppress the Christian minority. Additionally, well-known “Christian politicians and their defenders” are executed. In light of ongoing abuses, some critics claim that the United States needs to take a second look at how monies are allocated to countries like Pakistan.

Recently, the U.S. pledged $7.5 billion in aid to the Middle Eastern country. So far, it seems the Obama administration is being relatively careful in terms of the pace at which the funds are being allocated. Earlier in May, The New York Times reported:

…so inadequate is Pakistan’s civilian bureaucracy and so rife are United States fears of corruption in the government that American officials, constricted by layers of their own rules, have struggled to find safe places to actually invest the money available. Instead of polishing the tarnished image of America with a suspicious, even hostile, Pakistani public and government, the plan has resulted in bitterness and a sense of broken promises.

The alleged events discussed above and the general worry over abuses provides fodder to critics who would like to see stricter allocations of U.S. monies. What do you think? Should the U.S. limit finds if Pakistani officials continue to ignore human and religious rights violations?

    Go to the Internet at any given moment and you will find stories like this. Christian is being killed daily. Churches being burnt to the ground. Many religions being persecuted. If the Ersatz “Palestinians” take control of Jerusalem the same thing will happen.

    The mob charged the courthouse where a ***** prisoner was being held without charges. The community wasn’t trying to free the man they wanted revenge for the alleged victims.
    Howling outside, the mob was out of control as the backward ones tried to break down the jails exterior doors. The sheriff tried to stop the mass violence at least in appearance only.
    It only took one person to strike the match that was tossed into the weeds behind the jailhouse. Five minutes later the entire court house building including the jail demanded fire hoses for the protection of the entire town center.
    The elderly woman confessed years later that she was the one that tossed the fire match.
    “That ***** beat the brains out of a defenseless old man that happened to owe me money.” she told the judge at her court hearing.
    “It would take a fiend or devil to toss that match burning up all those people and the court house jail.” The judge looked her straight in the face.
    The ***** you wanted was already released and out of town. The man you killed was accused of stealing a nickel from the church plate.
    Howling outside the mob wanted revenge for what the old lady had done. So revolting the crime the mob was sure she had to be a demon, some kind of witch to be sure.
    The roaring flames, their own fiendish power with no moral sensibilities killed a large number of people that very day.

      That’s a start. Also stop with humnaitarian aid. I know lots of innocents will be harmed by this but how much of that aid is funneled into corruption? When there is a natural disater in one of their countries we are the first to help…no more. Figure it out for yourselves. Suffer like us when they happen here, no one helps us (except for some Europena countries). All this is doing is increasing discrimination on our part and when every state passes concealed carry you will have no idea who will stand up for themselves and put one between your eyes when it starts to happen here.

      I think you’re unaware of the difference between the Old and New Testament. Jesus came to free us from the laws you quoted and we’re no longer bound to them, thank the Lord. That is why you would not be able to find similar laws in the New Testament.

      If you were under the assumption those were Jesus’ current laws, you are simply mistaken. What ookspay quoted is the current belief system according to Islam.

      Presenting Old Testament Laws we are no longer bound by to the current commands of Islam is literally apples and oranges.

      In case you weren’t aware, this problem isn’t unique to “elsewhere”. Human trafficking for sex is a big problem even in the United States. Girls and young women are forced into this and raped routinely. Whether it’s religiously motivated (which I don’t think it truly is in Pakistan…it only serves as an excuse to do the inexcusable) or whether it’s simply motivated by selfishness, godlessness, and wickedness….it’s still the same crime/sin. The root of it all stems from pornography, which is a vice that many view as victimless, but will destroy our country and others quicker than any bombs or armies ever could.

How many Christians still, in this land, do not understand or do not want to see what is happening around the world to fellow believers; there are some who I have talked with a few weeks ago who absolutely refuse to acknowledge Christians have been killed, maimed, or persecuted in other lands…and that it can ‘never happen here.’

      The discourse on TV is strictly PC. TV PC language insists that to be anti-Islam is to be racist. Since this is our major communication system, we will not likely see the truth about Islam shown on TV any time soon.       Can someone please tell me why we give money to Pakistan? What the he!! are we thinking? Your money is going to support this corrupt government! I’m at a loss for words and need to go eat some Oreos to relax and calm down.

      I mean….who made that decision to say, “Hey! I have an idea. Let’s give Pakistan some of our money”? I didn’t make that decision. Did you make that decision to do that? SOMEONE made that decision, and we need someone ELSE to make the decision to discontinue that brainless idea.

      No one is stopping you from buying an AR15, a couple 1000 rounds of 5.56 and a one way ticket out to the sandbox with your own funds to fight this holy war. Stop using the US Armed Forces and tax payers, of various faiths and creeds, to fight this “holy war” for you.

      That started a while back and has been supported by Republicans and Democrates, although Obama is out to break all records.

      As much as I would like to see us vaporize Mecca, which would end Islam as it’s known, prayer and fasting are more effective tools to break the hold that Lucifer (Allah) has on muslims. “Pray for those who hate you.”

      How do we get this message to the idiot in the White House?? How do we demand that not one penny more of OUR money is sent to Pakistan? What’s it gonna take? We can’t wait until 2012. This insanity needs to stop now. I’m tired of the intellectual elites getting it so very *&^%$##( wrong!!!

      ahhhh the Arab Spring I’m so glad the G8 is sending them 40 billion and that the largest percentage of that 20 billion of that will be U.S. TAX DOLLARS….sarcsam.
      Really though WTF this is an outrage and if Obama allows one tax dollar to head there he needs to be impeached.
