Report: President Obama Called NBA Champions the ‘Miami Heats’

President Obama never struck us as particularly sporty, as Presidents go. However, he apparently plays a mean game of basketball, so we generally expect that he’ll be at least able to accurately name NBA teams, especially when they win the NBA championship.
That is, assuming he hasn't won the title singlehandedly
Well, as it turns out, that expectation may have been overly optimistic. A tweet from CBS White House reporter Mark Knoller calls President Obama’s Sports knowledge heavily into question:
Not that we need to point this out, but the name of the team in question is the “Miami Heat.“ Not the ”Miami Heats.”
Mr. President, Florida is a swing state. This isn’t helping your case.

Now he can add sports broadcaster and sex education teacher after talking to a group of young people at school about condoms and birth control. Instead of telling them they could one day and hopefully soon, have his job, no he discussed condoms. Being such a paric, he should know something about them.

Posted on June 27, 2012 at 2:32amNot buying that this & the Chicago baseball player gaffe yesterday, was an accident. Didn’t buy it then, and don’t buy it now. It’s just a way to increase his status as the self-proclaimed “underdog”, while at the same time, stirring a negative reaction to show he can take it.
He’s not going out without making a BIG STINK, bringing on any attempts to impeach him. And perhaps most sadly, making a last ditch effort to use his Blackness in the most volatile way possible since they still haven‘t had the violent Black uprising they’ve dreamed about.
At first it’s the victim. America’s not ready for a Black president. Then he gains popularity and for a while believes he can win despite being Black. But when he wins, he’s back to victim, convinced he won only because he’s Black. So he can’t win. He’ll never be happy no matter what, so no one else should be happy.
Everytime this administration, or anyone in favor of them, makes an argument for why they’re doing something, it often begins with examples of what Republicans have done in the past. That’s what children do. So and so did it, so why can’t I, rather than make important decisions based on their own thinking process, or God forbid, based on a clean moral machine.

Oh, that is in Milwaukee, WI and Wade is from Chicago. And this is his second championship? Ahh a home town kid. Didn’t really follow them much until after the Bulls were knocked out. Chicago huh, I knew I liked him.
