Report: Rahm Emanuel ‘Likely’ to Step Down This Week

No official announcement has come from the White House yet, but speculation is buzzing around Washington that chief of staff Rahm Emanuel will be leaving his post at the White House this week:
ABC News has learned that White House officials are preparing for Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel to announce on Friday — as Congress adjourns for recess — that he is leaving his post to explore a run for mayor of Chicago.
White House officials expect that President Obama will also name an interim chief of staff, perhaps senior adviser Pete Rouse, at the announcement.
The announcement is no surprise given that Emanuel has been eager to run for the Chicago mayor’s office. “One day I would like to run for mayor of the city of Chicago. … That’s always been an aspiration of mine, even when I was in the House of Representatives,” Emanuel said in April to Bloomberg‘s Charlie Rose.
With current Mayor Richard Daley retiring at the end of his term, Emanuel is the likely front-runner for the Democratic nomination.

Daley wanted to retire but needed a socialist dummy to groom for the on going Daley legacy of throw the dogs a bone,keep them guessing and applauding, and keep them liberal votes comming in so you can make trades with the liberal presidents. The chief of staff job was just a staging area to get recognized for the real power house job, Mayor of one of the largest cities in the country that can supply all the liberal training and liberal votes that the cause needs. The Daley’s have written the manual on the “How to Run any Big City In America” and keep getting away with it. Old man Daley learned a lot of the How To from the old man Kennedy. Emanuel will keep this job a long time so as to ensure the State of Ill. vote goes to the liberal agenda of power, money, and greed. These were considered safe trade offs for selling the public trust to the highest bidder, but never OBAMA style destruction of America.

I drove thruogh it on 90 a few years ago and the amount of decay in the infastructuer amazed me, Rust and concrete gone bad everywhere the eye can see. The work crews, union for sure were all milling around smartly but not much work was getting done.50-60 men working on a quarter mile of road and I think it took two months to complete that section of basic road repairs. Union are the disease that is eating away at our nation, we need to 86 all unions.

This is why it‘s creepy and down right scary to see the Progressives not even scared of the hornet’s nest they stirred up.
