Report: Robert Gibbs May Leave White House to Run DNC

Discussion about a possible shift for Robert Gibbs, from White House press secretary to head of the DNC, is circulating among top Democrats. Politico is reporting the plan would involve current DNC chairman being named to a top administration post. The reasoning goes like this:
The logic for a Chairman Gibbs, according to one official: It would “put the Obama imprimatur on the DNC, once and for all,” and install a “great partisan fighter” as the face of the national party for the reelection campaign. “It’s a brilliant idea if he ends up deciding he wants to do it,” said one official who has been consulted.

Posted on October 2, 2010 at 11:19amThese majorities would allow for a fixing of the Amendment that provides birthright citizenship (14th)and the Amendment allowing the government to impose an income tax (16th). The 14th should state (in more eloquent terminology) that for all children born withing the borders of the United States, with both parents legally in the country, (citizen, LEGAL alien, or on a valid Visa) or one parent a citizen irregardless of location of birth, then citizenship can be transferred by birth. This would still be one of the most lenient citizenship regulations in the world. The Income Tax just needs to be stopped. I would like it to be fixed and adjusted to the fair tax, or some variation, but I just don’t trust politicians to have the power to tax for very long. We can send clean, above-reproach types into Washington, but after a few years in that cesspool, they’ll want to raise our taxes again.
