Reporter Gets Slapped After Trying to Kiss Will Smith on the Lips

Will Smith received a rather unpleasant surprise today while on the Red Carpet at the Moscow Premiere of “Men in Black 3.” Apparently, press customs in Eastern Europe are different, and one male Ukrainian reporter whose shtick it is to kiss celebrities thought it would be a good idea to try to lay one on Smith. Conflict ensued:

As you can plainly see, the Ukrainian got off light. Smith says near the end, “He‘s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him.”

TMZ gives this post-script to the bizarre incident:

We’re told the dude who kissed Will is a television reporter who often kisses celebrities — it’s his schtick.

For the record, Will just came out in support of gay marriage.

A source on scene tells TMZ, the reporter‘s mouth brushed up against Will’s and that’s why the actor reacted so violently. Despite the incident, Will stayed positive … and happily continued to sign autographs for fans and do red carpet interviews.

      Hollywood loves Taxes, Gays and Liberals but they don‘t Liberal Gay affection or actually paying the Taxes they’re always pushing for. Like the tech guy that’s leaving the country after he helped get Obama elected.

It‘s that he’s all for higher taxes for the rich, but he’s not rich, and don’t tax him at 75%. I got news for him, Obama’s dad wanted to tax people 100% as long as they got what they needed from the government. So all these hollywierd people would be making the same as me, under $50,000 a year. Let’s see how many people get into the movies.

I don’t understand why Will was upset, he just said he liked all the F_aggots and supported them. I just Put MIB 3 on my no fly list. Will is there with all my heros – Woppie, Clooney Strisand and all the rest of the Q_ueer and L_izzie loving idiots. I saw his interview and how he like all those nice taxes until he heard 75%. I don’t think Will will work for .$25 out of a buck. He just saw all his luxerys disappear. He saw the American incentive go out the window.

      Here’s my take on this gay crap. Not too long ago at Rutgers University, two room mates made a deal. When one or the other had a date the other guy would stay out. So when this one room mate told his friend “I got a date tonight’ the other guy thought it would be fun to set up a camera and film it secretly. Well much to his surprise, when he viewed the video, his room mate was smooching on a guy! So when the truth came out the gay room mate went and jumped off a bridge killing himself in shame. His parents sued the university. So my point is this, if this gay crap is so cool, why kill your self? If the film had shown the room mate with a naked co-ed and having his way with her, all his buddies would have been having a high five party. Gay guy smooching another guy vs. bopping a naked co-ed. Suicide vs. high five. Ironic?

Man, I really miss the days when we didn’t have to know who actors were other than by name. Modern media has aligned our greatest entertainers with views that not even half of our country share and about a third are against outright. What happened to all the heroes?       I think that Will Smith gave us 2 teachable moments this week.
      The first was on taxes. He thinks that higher taxes are find as long as it doesn’t effect him.
      The second is on gays. He is all for gay rights as long as it doesn’t effect him.
      Maybe Will Smith is only plays a liberal in public. But deep down is a little more conservative.

    I think it’s a little bit dramatic to call that a *slap* His reaction to the 75% tax in France was a lot more aggressive than this reaction. Yeah, you could tell he didn’t like it (and shouldn’t have to put up with it), but calling it a slap is a lot stronger than what it was.

      It’s a bit bizarre for a complete stranger to just lay multiple kisses on your face. I felt a bit sorry for the guy afterwards but he needs to learn personal space and over doing it. Will Smith might support gay people, doesn’t mean he is gay.

    I read this story in a British nespaper and one commentor “explained” that the kissey fella was Russian and Will should have reserched his culture and understand that that’s how Russians are.

    THAT has been one of my pet peeves for decades! We, as Americans, are expected to “research” every other culture on the blasted planet to “understand” other cultures.

    Here’s a thought! How about those who are in OUR country “research” OUR culture and act accordingly? Maybe – just maybe – we yanks don’t hold with how you hang in your culture over here….!!!!!

    But seriously, be it a schtick/gimmick or whatever, the reporter has no right accosting someone like that. Will Smith is a celebrity in the public spotlight, this does not mean they are our playthings to do with as we please. The reporter should try relying on real substantive work instead of acting like a fool harrassing others. Will Smith played Ali, lucky all he did was give him a tap.

    He may be for so-called “gay marriage”–that’s irrelevant. Will Smith himself isn‘t gay and doesn’t appreciate someone forcing himself on him. Some stranger kisses you on your mouth and you have no clue what they have in/on/around their mouth when they do it. They could be trying to injure you or worse. I wouldn‘t give a flying fig if it IS that guy’s “schtick.” Dude had better keep his schtick away from me. Yeah, he got off light, but I suspect he did indeed get off.

      I used to agree he was a stand up guy until I saw what’s going on with his kids! He has pimped those kids out to Hollywood, buying a movie for his son, etc. Have you seen these kids? They have this attitude, unbelievable, smart @ss, ‘I’m so above you’ thing going on. It is so sad. I expected so much more from him.

      I think the whole “for the record” statement is actually a quote from TMZ (that’s how they covered it) and it may seem like a strange comment, but TMZ is a Hollywood gossip magazine and as such I’ve seen much stranger comments coming from them.
      Naturally, just because you support gay marriage doesn‘t mean you’re gay. Also, as someone who has lived in Hollywood myself let me tell ya: Will Smith BETTER support gay marriage or his career would be instantly over. Hollywood stars know gay activists have their number.
