Republican-Led House Panel Agrees to Subpoena White House on Solyndra Loan

Republican Led House Panel Agrees to Subpoena White House on Solyndra

WASHINGTON (AP) — A Republican-led House panel has agreed to subpoena White House documents related to Solyndra Inc., the failed California solar company that received a half-billion-dollar federal loan.

By a 14-9 vote, a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee authorized Chairman Fred Upton to issue subpoenas to top White House officials. The Fremont, Calif., company received a $528 million federal loan before filing for bankruptcy protection and laying off 1,100 workers.

Fox News has more:

Democrats argued the resolution was too broad and gave Chairman Fred Upton too much power. But Republicans said a subpoena was necessary because the White House has denied or delayed requests for thousands of documents related to Solyndra.

Upton, a Michigan Republican, said getting White House documents on Solyndra was like “extracting a tooth without anesthesia,” painful and time-consuming.

An Energy Department spokesman said officials were cooperating with House investigators and have provided more than 80,000 pages of documents.

Hey People, Connect the dots!! Solyndra was a front for Goldman Sachs to push carbon credits upon commercial businesses with flat roof tops. Companies that did not go along with the putting solyndra products on their roofs would be penalized with fines per the Cap and Trade legislation that would have taken affect if it passed the house and senate. But thank GOD it failed when the Republicans took the house in 2010. To offset the fines the companies would be urged to buy solyndra products or buy carbon credits to offset the fines. Either way Goldman sachs and obama and solyndra would win either way. Solyndra had no businessplan if was dependent on the Cap and Trade and bailouts

I can just hear it now, “This is nothing more than a witch hunt. Republicans don’t care that Solyndra failed, well they didn‘t fail they just had a run of bad luck from failed Republican policies but they just can’t stand that a black man is occupying their white house and they’re doing everything they can to kick him out. Republicans are more worried about kicking out our great leader than they are about jobs in this country!”

Do your homework on ALL the people he surrounds himself with. Everything they do is a power grab. A power grab to have complete control of your life and mine. This is exactly what Hitler did to the German people. I was always taught that you are judged by the people you surround yourself with. Since you think he is great, then you must be a piece of SLIME and a LIAR. Make yourself useful and go learn your history. I assure you, as God is my witnes, you will wake up and see the light. Unfortunately the House Republicans neither have the balls or the backbone to go after Obama. It was like he was untouchable prior to his election, and few since have made any waves to get the Imposter-in-Chief to turn over his records, birth and otherwise, particularly his entire history from birth until ascendancy to the Presidency. Dear Senator McCain, what a woos he was and still is – a leader in the RINO community, not something to be bragged about.
If Obama and Soros are behind this OWS and Occupy Oakland crap, and it appears to be that that might be the case, we are going to have to be prepared and soon to confront Obama if he tries that martial law crap. Do not trust Barack Hussein Obama as far as I can throw him. see nothing American about his name, his upbringing, his associations, his associates nor his policies. In addition, his character and his integrity are both found to be wanting.
Anyone who bows to a Saudi Prince, and even more so the President of the USA, and has the Muslim background and tutoring, as well as the self proclaiming, of the Muslim faith is neither a Christian nor a supporter of the Constitution, and needs to be driven from his seat of power as soon as possible. The November 2012 election can not come soon enough, and if The One should try t0 interfere with those elections, his 4 year term may well be shortened.

Hey man, that’s not going to fully charge the batteries, brother. When you do what he’s doing, you sacrifice amps for volts. The current you receive to “trickle charge” the two batteries from the one can’t completely charge both batteries from a full charge from the power source.

His thinking (and maybe yours), is that you’ll just pull a freshly charged battery from the group to charge more batteries, but the reality is the “freshly charged” battery will not run as long as the original. You‘ll have diminishing returns with each group until it’s completely useless.

I totally appreciate the effort, though. It’s just not sound electrical science. Now, you could connect the shaft of that motor to wind vanes or power it from a creek, or solar cells. That would be “free energy”, as your cost for those natural sources is 0. So long as they’re stable sources, it’s a great deal for you.

If I put 100v into 31.8 turns of 40 gauge wire, 95 mA of current would flow, total power input of 9.5 watts, and would create a magnetic field of .012 Gauss, with .000014 Joules of energy stored in the magnetic field. If the current is stopped, an inductance of only .003 Henries will result.

If I put 100v into 90,000 turns of 5 gauge wire, a current of about 95mA would flow, total power input of 9.5 watts, with a LARGER magnetic field of 23.7 Gauss, with 116 Joules of energy stored in the magnetic field. When this current is stopped, it will generate an inductance of 25,700 Henries, with 8 MILLION times the Joules stored in the magnetic field than the 40 gauge coil. This is the science of Joseph Newman.

Same energy input, larger coil. Where does the extra current come from? The magnetic field collapse cutting the atoms of the conductor at right angles. Where does the extra magnetic field come from? The atoms of the conductor being aligned by the input current. The larger the coil- the more atoms, the more atoms- the larger the magnetic field for the same input current. Period.
