‘Repudiate the Muslim Brotherhood’: Allen West Calls for Obama to Immediately Cut All American Foreign Aid to Egypt Following Election Results

Congressman Allen West (R-Fla.) on Sunday called for President Barack Obama to immediately cut off all American foreign aid to Egypt and to denounce the results of its presidential election after Muslim Brotherhood-backed candidate Mohammed Morsi’s victory.
In a brief post on his Facebook page, West said Sunday’s results were reminiscent of the 1979 Iranian revolution that saw Islamists installed as leaders of the country.
“A year ago there were those of us who warned the Obama administration of a Muslim Brotherhood takeover in Egypt,” West wrote. “We were castigated as alarmists and loose cannons. Today our predictions have come to reality and the ominous specter reminding us of the Iranian revolution is evident.”
Calling the Arab Spring “nothing more than a radical Islamic nightmare,” West said the U.S. needs to “unequivocally reiterate” its support to Coptic Christians in the region and to Israel.
“What an incredible foreign policy faux pas by the second coming of President Jimmy Carter, the Obama administration,” West said. “I call upon President Barack Obama to cut off American foreign aid to Egypt, denounce the results of this election, repudiate the Muslim Brotherhood, and all radical Islamist political entities.

Short answer; because the 16th Amendment to our Constitution allows the Federal Government to steal at will from our incomes and because we keep electing legislators, R‘s and D’s alike, who pass legislation that allow for the allocation and payment of very questionable foreign aid.
Want to change it? Vote for representatives that will vow to abolish the Income Tax and will only vote to spend money in a Constitutionally sound manner. Foreign aid, to any country, does not fall in line with that definition. If you continue to allow yourself to believe that the answer is going to come from the R party or the D party you will be in for more of the same. That I promise you. Both parties are too invested in maintaining the status quo of nearly world wide largesse that has characterized and dominated U.S. foreign policy for several decades. Is a friend that needs to be bought to remain your friend really your friend?

BTW why don’t you go look up how many participated in said vote and why so many sat out. Why don‘t you put that thinking cap on and see if you can’t figure out why they have just ‘democratically’ voted themselves into the dark ages? Try to see if you can find the parallels to their ‘revolution’ vs. the American revolution…waiting….still here…oops, that’s right. There are none. Why? The mindset of the people, the understanding true freedom. They have no understanding therefor they will always choose to be controlled (the majority, that is).
And I almost forgot. We have this weird little thing called a republic.
I thank God everyday and I am still in wonderment of our founding fathers wisdom, foresight and courage, and if only for a short time in history, we, I, were so fortunate to be the lucky few that live in the only place where true freedom began and changed an entire world to show what is possible. Though the time for the great experiment may be coming to a close thanks to the evil that will reign, there are those of us who will never forget and you cannot take the spirit of freedom, once tasted, no matter how hard you try.

He is stating the correct direction in further foreign policy with an aggressive entity that is against OUR way of life. Some one stated above that Hitler was also voted into power, legally and democratically, this did NOT make Nazi’s very friendly.

Posted on June 24, 2012 at 9:13pmThe only reason I would say I don’t “love” him is that his political/voting record is still pretty skinny. Not even two years yet. But, I’m sure warming up to him. Give him another few terms in the House with similar results to his first term and I’d be ready to say I “love” him and he’d probably get my vote for any office he ran for.
His military record, however, is above reproach not withstanding the silly article they hung on him. That was just based on PC at it’s worst. In the old days it never would have happened. There is no doubt that Representative West is a patriot.

I doubt that he will because he seems to think this election is just about the economy.. but I content that it is not… I don’t want to hear Romney tell me one more time how “nice” Obama is..Its getting to be more than I can take… I know that Romney is the best out of the two.. I just didn’t want to vote against something I wanted to vote FOR something Im loosing patience and hope.
