      Great …I wish one of these ‘think tanks’ would do research and see how much TAX money WHITE working Americans have paid over the last 50 years and how much of that tax money was given to non-working blacks. The white population has always supported the black population, so why does there have to be MORE. Research the national debt and find out how much of what is owed is due togiving to ‘minorities’. Let THEM pay what is already OWED and then talk about MORE.

    So his argument is since blacks make up the majorities of prisons blacks are entitled to the money generated from companies that stock and equip the jails. as well as being entitled to the people pensions who have to guard them.       I think A Doctor’s Labor is Not My Right had a really good summation of the situation at the beginning of the posts. Dr. said clearly that the issue is not someone’s skin color, but the culture that they have been raised in. Al’s culture focuses on the color of his skin (which automatically precludes him from participating in MLK’s dream of character evaluation) and victimhood. Not every black American shares that culture.

      I guess Big Al doesn’t realize that a major portion of the current population of the United States arrived AFTER 1865 and would include Hispanics (the fastest growing segment of the population), those from India and various other countries that are non-European or non-African. I’m also waiting for the Muslims to chime in on this one, since somehow I don‘t get the idea they will take kindly to paying Al’s followers based on claims of genearational abuse.

      The other thing is that not every black American is a descendant of a slave.

      Finally, one does wonder since Big Al claims to be a spokesperson for black Americans, what kind of harm he is doing to those who happen to share his skin color, but are doing okay for themselves. I know Big Al doesn’t speak for people like Dr. Thomas Sowell, Dr. Walter Williams, Erik Rush, Larry Elder, Bill Cosby, Star Parker, and Dr. Condi Rice, just to name a few that come quickly to mind. I am sure there are thousands of other black Americans that he demeans with his constant harping on race and slavery.

      It‘s sad and it’s pitiful.

      Race is very profitable.
      Black farmers (many who NEVER farmed) just won the Pigford !! settlement of $1.15 BILLION signed by obama on dec 8th. These ‘poor farmers’ many who never ‘farmed’ were victims of racial decrimination, so they got paid ‘reparartions”. Remember Shirley Sherrod …fired USDA…she and her husband got over $13 million for their ‘non profit group’ plus $$$ each for ‘pain and suffering’ and ‘debt forgivness’. She received the largest amount under this ‘give away’. The group had bought land back years ago (1980′s I believe) the land was never farmed, but they got t he money.

      American Indians got $3.4 billion under the Pigford settlement.

      Remember VAN JONES about the native Americans…..GIVE THEM THE WEALTH…

      well, they just got it along with the black NON farmers, early Dec. Christmas present. Perhaps our grandchildren will someday be able to pay this $$$ back to china or what ever country loans us this ‘pay off money’.
      So Rev Al is just wanting some more money handed out. Nothing new

      Lexus just sold 1,000 cars in my area to 90% whites, but whites only make up 60% of the population. What kind of dirtbag car company are they if they don’t hit the street and start selling cars to people in exact proportions to the makeup of my area?

      I don’t know if your percentages are right; but just going off of the seeming disproportionate amount of crime committed by blacks, I understand why you bring that up.

      It must be said, however, that because the color of one’s skin does not determine behavior, that the disproportionate crime rate HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEIR SKIN COLOR, but rather it has to do with their racist ideology of their culture. THEY think that the color of their skin means something, and so they behave in a way that is consistent with their ideology of class-warfare.

      Their CULTURE values the color of their own skin, which is why so many of that color behave the way they do. Again, their skin color DOES NOT DETERMINE how they will behave. They are not born criminals – their culture raises them as criminals. Very different.

      Maybe they have it backwards. Since we did the ***** a big favor rescuing him (or her) from lions, tigers and their own people in Africa, perhaps they should be the ones repaying the white man for our kindness in bringing him (her) to this country.
      Not to mention the wonderful largess we bestowed upon him (her). They were taught the work ethic, provided food and shelter, and allowed to join a real religion of peace.
      Perhaps a real “thank you” should be given the descendents of the people willing to sacrifice their treasure (pay) in order to help these poor, unfortunate, human beings. They should probably be taxed so they can pay all these descendants say $1,000.000 per person. After we are fully paid, they can return to their homeland, Africa.

      The so called “reverend” clearly does not speak for Christianity in most anything that he espouses or that he does.

      There are no teachings of Christianity that demand the suppression of one group of Christian people over another. This may have happened in Mr. Sharpton’s view in the past to him, that he considers himself a victim of other’s transgressions, but his un-Christian like maneuvers and coercions to find and take advantage for his so called people do not position him well in being considered a man of Christianity as he moves toward his quest for revenge against white America.

      His so called people, our people, have experienced a trend of upward mobility for a century in America only made possible by a system that works because it is based upon Christianity. He may feign to be an advocate of Christianity, but his is a warped and twisted version that does not seek good or harmony among all men only those that he deems deserving. That is not the work of a Christian, and certainly not of a “reverend.” Any sane thinking white American acknowledges the sins of past generations but Sharpton cannot advocate revenge and still call himself a Christian or a “reverend.”

      It is only fitting then that when we talk of Al Sharpton we remove his “reverend” status. It’s critical to our mission of making sure we’re upholding honesty and a search for only truths in our quests for all, all of American’s upward mobility, including his; but not as a “reverend.” That’s not what he is.

      Simply, he is to be stripped of his designation because it’s a lie that he has proven time and time again.

      As a black man. This fool does not speak for me. All blacks do not think this way. Unfortunately, too many allow him to represent them. We are all American. Slavery sucked! When blacks wanted out of slavery they didn’t want to start their own country or go back to Africa, they wanted the same thing as white American’s. Liberty. Racism by some whites and racism instituted by government after slavery separated us for another hundred years. It forced blacks to do their own thing. Create their own society within a society. Now we are feeling the growing pains of separation. We will not stand separately as a country. Either we will get it together or we all go down. I’ll be the first to admit, blacks got some serious issues. Rev. Al Sharton is one and liberalism being the worst. Whites have some issues too. Its hard to tell but blacks are as deverse as any other people. Stop lumping us all together. As for the effects of slavery. It may have stopped raining but the floods are still raging.

      This guy accuses others of RACISM ? What a joke. He’s a joke. Al Sharpton’s agenda is racism and only racism. He talks about slavery like it ended yesterday and as if the Civil Rights Movement didn’t happen at all. He believes and preaches Black Liberation Theology that the whites have an obligation and the responsbility to take care of the blacks from the cradle to the grave. His black radicalism is like all the other black radicals, that all the problems of the African-Americans are the fault of the whites. He and others like him , including President Barack Obama, are the reason that RACISM in America still exists.

      Where are the voices of reason? Why does Al always get the platform to speak for black people? Why not Shelby Steele, Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain or Bill Cosby? The reason is Al fits the progressive agenda. Purveyors of the putrid progressive plan need America divided in order to bring it down. Al serves this purpose and the other afore-mentioned don’t. The greatest obstacle to socio-economic progress is developmental. There is nothing preventing one from getting a decent education, developing marketable skills and working hard to achieve goals except individual effort. That is a personal problem, not a racial problem. There are far too many examples of immigrants from all walks of life coming to the United States, over-coming language barriers and becoming very successful and productive assets to the nation to discount individual effort. This nation is more than willing to offer a hand up to anyone willing to make the effort. Unfortunately there are far too many with their hand out who are not willing to make the individual effort to become productive members of society. Al and his ilk are counter-productive and a huge disservice to the people they claim to care for. Al cares about Al and has built a lucrative career in his redistribution racket. Everyone knows this so the only explanation for anyone having to listen to his continuous blathering is it serves the purpose of those who wish to keep us divided in order to bring us down. It is beyond time for deadbeats to grab their bootstraps because we don’t have the cash to sustain them forever.

      where the hell is he gonna find 5% of balcks that will do construction jobs. Been in the business 35 years and have yet to see a black on the job for more than a day, worse yet the illegals are taking the industry away from Americans so I guess the white legal Americans are the minority now.

      Seems to me most welfare mommy’s get there checks or redistributed money form us working folks. If we cut off government assistance to all those cable of working (no buts) we could balance the budget over time. The process would eventually cause the bums to self destruct and rid our society of the trash.

      I know plenty of black people who are quite successful but not because of government handouts and “spreading the wealth around”. Sharpton needs to get a clue or stfu already.

Al Sharpton BLVD. in every city across the US. Reparations have been paid many times over in the form of Welfare, Food Stamps & Free Housing & the list goes on.       Sure, Al and we want credit for all the racist programs and affirmative action monies spent to keep the race pimps happy…and credit for the negative impact on those actually qualified for positions they didn’t get in order to hire a visible minority.
      By my calculations you owe us money…but then you still owe lots of money to the IRS and bills you failed to pay although court ordered. This feculent individual needs to be shipped back to an African country….but none would take. him.

      Let me get this straight, Al Simpleton is saying that only 5% of the welfare money should go to black recipiants, because they only make up 5% of the population. If he is referring to money that has to be earned, sorry AL, the key word is earned. And, that has nothing to do with race, color, creed, or religious belief.

      Every time this man open his mouth, I hear HATE! I have never heard him say ANYTHING nice! Never. The day of Glenn Beck’s 8/28 Rally, all we heard from Glenn’s Relly was LOVE and FORGIVENESS!
      The same day Sharpton had a relly, when I heard Sharpton’s speach, all I heard was HATE for everything and everybody! It is so sad, he could do so much good, however, he seems to want to keep everyone up in arms and fighting!
      I really do feel very sorry for a man with this much hate!
